New chapter is out.
Old thread is almost dead so I am gonna dump it here
I don't know why, but the first captcha always fails for some reason
He created an alibi for him remember
>He created an alibi for him remember
Ik, but I remembered just the rock.
My captcha is broken or something, because it registers the first time always as wrong.'
Well I satisfied my autistic need to dump this, I am going to bed.
Honestly speaking, that's the only hope for Kayofags that they HAVE to put an anime only ending since they can't fit all of this shit in the end.
Unless of course the author decides to do magical time travel in the last chapter and retcon for like the fifth time in the series
I'm quit understand the reason volume 7 has quit a low opinion on it, now. While I like it, hardly anything happens and seems like a drag out.
Just wonder, but how can the anime portray this part of the story? They sideline and tone down many Airi scene.
Hell, they should sideline Kayo instead of Airi, she's not that important even in the anime.
>wanting to sideline kayo
except she was pretty much the main character next to Satoru for the entirety of what we've seen in the anime so far
If anything, Airi shouldn't even exist in the series. She's nothing more than waifu pandering to lonely men
according to this interview that we still have yet to get a proper source on, the director is specifically "writing out" Airi from the anime to focus on Kayo, stating that the manga and the anime are going to be different. One major change is that the recent Airi reunion scene where he gets his memories back is going to be replaced Kayo. Which means he might remove the NTR?
But again "citation needed".
Honestly seeing as how the pacing of the anime and how its been universally agreed that this is one of the few examples where the anime > manga, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that this is being phased out.
I love Airi and her character, but she ultimately doesn't really fit into the whole scheme of things and definitely won't fit given the time constraints now.
I was a bit disappointed when we found out that the killer was exactly who we all thought it was.
But now, not so much. 2 chapters ( I think) ago, was a great one. How it monologued from his mom to the killer, but it could have just been the killer talking the entire time was brilliant.
I'm really interested in where it's going again.
>mfw Airifags going to cry about this
It's not about she being a waifu pandering, it's about her role. The author push her as one of the important character in the story. Kayo, on the other hand, not so much despite her screen time and she's also waifu baits.
Pls, no bully and false hope for Kayofags. This interview is fake and ep.6 already prove it. The coma and NTR will happen.
some source from 2chan also said that the reason the pacing has been so horribly shit was to focus on the hinazuki parts as opposed to the airi/modern day parts. in short, they have no intention of following the strict guidelines of the manga
give me a source of whether or not its fake aside from saying episode 6 proves it because the same shit happened with the first FMA before it split off half-way through.
Or maybe you need to learn to read Japanese and browse 2chan and other websites on your own instead of just saying "hurr durr kayofags r dum"
何だ一体があなたと間違っています? あなたは文盲ていますか？私は日本で育ち、アメリカに移動. 私は私が読んで、より良い日本のあなたは意志よりも、あなたのアメリカの馬鹿を話す方法を知っているかなり確信しています。
If you can't read that, you really have no business in telling me what is legit news sources and what isn't.
While this one has no source but we has source on the one that the director said he will portray the manga's ending?
It's not even that hard to knows this one is totally fake unless you're desperate Kayofags.
Give me a source on the director saying he'll do the manga's ending. That doesn't necessarily equal that he'll follow it to the word since there are time constraints.
what he said is right, it's just we don't know if this is just a fake or not. Because usually if you have something where the director blatantly says he's going to change the ships, you'd have people blogging about it on 2ch/Yaraon etc. Specifics of the interview are
>The anime is more focused on the past heroine Kayo
>Satoru reason for remembering the past is going to be Kayo
>For this reason, the anime has a larger focus on Kayo
>There's going to be a Kayo scene so dere that it will make the viewers think Kayo is an "easy" girl
>Satoru and Airi's relationship is going to be changed to a Teacher and Student relationship
>The manga might have two heroines but the anime is about Kayo
I mean all of this would make sense if they wanted to cut the anime from 7 volumes into 12 episodes. Even people on 2ch are agreeing the coma is probably going to be episode 10 or 11 and then they'll bumrush the ending. Cutting out Airi seems like the logical choice.
Still didn't answer my question. I have read the twitter because, like I typed out in the Japanese I wrote, I grew up there.
this just leads me to believe you don't know how to read japanese and are just trolling
That honestly seems fair enough. Not enough info to directly address a Kayo/Airi ending specifically but it does acknowledge the time constraints involved and the number of episodes left.
The fact still remains we still have a longass way to go to actually seeing Satoru save Kayo since there's the whole bus thing and the moving out + moving back in.
I have a hard time actually believing that they're dumb enough to be pacing the series this slow without another plan to make their own ending. Even Akame ga Kill was paced faster and it had horrible pacing
The content seems believable, I guess? Anime really toned down MC and Pizza's relationship a lot. I don't think they'll make loli a trigger to his memory though, it does not make much sense.
>There's going to be a Kayo scene so dere that it will make the viewers think Kayo is an "easy" girl
This sentence convince me that they will portray 'that' scene.
Hmm, if this is legit and add with what the director said before, I think MC will end up wuth no one.
>take a good manga
>change it so that your favorite girl is the focus to get them shipperfag bux
If I was the author I would be mad as hell.
You don't really believe that fake interview, ain't you? Read the content and check the source, this shit is obviously fake. Don't let some retard Kayofags fooled you whether they can read Japs or not is not matter, they're always a delusional and stupid pieces of shit.
Some retards who never read the manga thinks Kayo got a lot more screentime and is a lot more relevant that Airi. That's bullshit.
Kayo is only relevant until Satoru saves her in chapter 24. Out of these 25 chapters, she appeared in 14 chapters, while Airi showed up in the other 10.
So, 14 chapters for Kayo and 10 for Airi. Kayo got more attention but not a lot more.
Besides, Airi's really important for Satoru because she was the one who inspired him to start believing in himself (chapter 18). As anyone watching or reading this thing should know, lack of self-confidence was Satoru's main issue, so this puts Airi at the core of his character development.
He learned a lot of things from a lot of people, as shown in chapter 38, but the most important lesson, he learned from Airi.
Heh, instead of tell me that hur dur I can read Jap, how about you provide a source? Guess what? You can't and all this is just you as a stupid Kayofags grasping at straws, fuck-off, loser.
>take a shitty manga
>put aside shitty nonsense character
I lack to see the problem, Airi is author dreamy waifu and he write her with his dick and delusions, main reason she doesn't make sense in the story.
Satoru thought of Airi at the very last moment when he lost his consciousness to the coma, not of Kayo or even not of his mom.
How can the director think that Kayo is more important to the MC?
>How can the director think that Kayo is more important to the MC?
I doubt he thinks that way. But Kayo's a loli in need of rescue. That shit pulls at the heartstrings of the average otaku. If I was a producer, I would focus on the loli too.
Basically, someone from A-1 introduced the manga to the director and the anime was decided when the third volume was released (coincidentally, where the last episode ended). What the director loved the most was everything from 1988 because he's about the same age than Satoru and he loved the nostalgia. The director might have had his own story in mind when he contacted the producers.
That fake or not fake interview about focusing more on Kayo makes sense considering everything that's happened in the anime so far, especially the slow-ass pacing, but I don't honestly believe it, my guess is that everything from now on it's going to be rushed as hell.
Whether that's too many is debatable, but she's totally sidelined after chapter 24, which is more or less the mid point of the story.
That tells me she was basically a marketing tool. Heck, in the manga Satoru's trauma was over Hiromi, not Kayo, so it always felt like she was shoehorned by the editor.
guys if you haven't read Boku Dake Ga Inai Machi while listening to the Prisoners sound track you're really missing out.
it doesn't apply so well to the most recent chapters but during the child hood investigations it is the shit.
Meh, I don't think the director has the guts to change the story
because she is literally supposed to be some magical girl who solves everything for the MC, has no character flaws, and is some fantasy of the author of being some high school girl who will supposedly fall in love with a jobless 19 year old loser
Well, if they do go to 2chan (which I am sure they did), he has to be well aware that a lot of people are raging at the current ending for Kayo. If anything, he'll probably pull the trigger if he felt that enough people hated the original, which is pretty plausible
>What the director loved the most was everything from 1988
Considering how well produced and directed were episodes 2 to 4, yeah that's not really surprising.
What? Anime will have the same ending as manga, no room for Kayo's end. Not to mention everything leans toward Airi's end in the manga.
You are the one grasping at straws, Loser Kayofags..
>still complains its not legit
I didn't even post it, but holy shit you Airifags are acting like retards when you're the ones calling us that
Welcome to every bokumachi thread for the past few weeks ever since some anon let loose that NTR was going to happen in the manga
Aren't the raws up to the second to last chapter?
Is it true that the scanlating team actually dropped it because they were unhappy with the NTR with Kayo?
Holy shit, that's fucking hilarious and pathetic
>I didn't even post it, but holy shit you Airifags are acting like retards when you're the ones calling us that
I don't know what's wrong with your head, but no one provided source for >>137380527
>>137391985 is a totally different interview.
>That shit pulls at the heartstrings of the average otaku
Anon, Loli herself was normie pandering, it's her moment with MC that is pedo/otaku pandering. Pizza, on the other hand, her whole existence was waifu baits and otaku pandering.
Well, Pizza's more of a waifu baits rather than a sue, anon.
>Manga accurate ending confirmed for anime and live action movie
So, live action will portray manga's ending too?
Was reading the manga for awhile, the anime rekindled my interest
When I reached the you-know-what chapter, it was bloody hilarious seeing the amount of assmad and butthurtery. It's really amazing. When /a/ watches that episode, I think the show's thread would not survive
Assuming the anime goes that route, which it most likely will.
I'm a Kayofag but I can't wait till that day either to see /a/ collectively blow up. So far, just us mangafags know what's going to go on and I'm going to watch it like a movie
Is there a pony tail character is this series? Who is this?
It just said anime will focus on 1988 part that is all. No mention about chage the ending or comacuck.
Also, isn't it confirmed that anime will has the same ending as manga?
You know what, no matter who wins the Satoruowl, I won't mind. Pretty interested in the coming episodes to see if the leaks were real or not. I wouldn't be surprised if they were. I'm really excited about the narration switch last chapter though, I can't wait to see how the anime will cover it.
As mentioned before, there's a pretty heavy chance that the ending or at least the Kayo aspects of the show are going to be changed.
This is coming from a Japanese native speaker
What's this talk about the focus on 1988? How will that affect the anime? Won't it completely rewrite the story if more emphasis is placed on the past, as I assume that there won't be any more rewinds to that timeline in the manga.
There isn't a focus on 1988. I think what he meant to say was that there was A LOT more screentime spent on Kayo and Satoru back in 1988 than there will be in the present since they're allegedly phasing out Airi.
So I think it's going to have the same ending but with different characters involved (i.e. Airi replaced by Kayo)
>As mentioned before, there's a pretty heavy chance that the ending or at least the Kayo aspects of the show are going to be changed.
>This is coming from a Japanese native speaker
That's irrelevant if you don't provide a source.
>Airi fags already coming back
I posted the shit way far above and unless you guys can actually read Japanese, I can't see how posting the 2chan thread will help at all.
I'll find it anyways and laugh at you guys though
I wouldn't mind that. Same story retold a different way in a different medium isn't a bad idea. I'm not emotionally involved with any plotpoint so far, so I don't really care how it turns out.
Since you are a Japanese native speaker, could you explain chapter 32 to me, the spider's web? I don't really understand that parable, even after reading the wikipedia article about it.
>Airifags being butthurt about evidence
>anime comes along
>director puts Airi with the pizza manager
The change is already there as anime make Loli became more important to both the plot and MC yet I don't see how it will change her role or the ending.
Well, more screen time on 1988, nothing's change.
>I actually can into moon
If you really want to find it, dig through the 2chan archives. Of course this shit isn't going to be published yet since it was a leak to begin with
>Bullshit . Because I grew up in Sapporo and lived , what you speak , do not know why I have to pretend to know how to read Japanese .
Isn't Sapporo a beer?
>Can't read moon
>Calls me a retard
Here's the name of the series. Search for it on the 2chan archive. I don't want to do the work for you.
You're either the most geographically retarded person I've met or have never left your basement. It's a city in Hokkaido and I used to live here before I had to move to the States with my brother. The beer is named after the city.
Why are there a bunch of ESL people in this thread. The sauce was a leak on 2chan. I highly doubt Western media sources will have found it.
I need to go back and read 32 again to see what you're talking about. Gimme a sec
Ok, so I actually remember reading this boring ass book back in junior high school. The general gist of the book was that Kandata was some dude who was an awful person in general and was burning in Jigoku (Hell) when the Buddha saw him down there. Remembering that he had once not killed a spider, the Buddha offers mercy to Kandata by lowering a spider thread for him to climb on. He climbs but so does everyone else in Hell and it snaps the string, sending them all back to Hell. The Buddha saw this and was sad that Kandata was selfish for his own sake. Yet, the only way he could have left Hell was by killing all of the other people down there with him.
The comparison to this story is that the Teacher was Kandata and he saw the "spider's thread" since he was in "Hell" with his brother since they were both complicit in murdering/raping other girls. In order to prevent his own "spider string" from snapping, and comparing it to the hamster that survived by floating on the corpses of its enemies, Teacher kills his brother to prevent anyone else from climbing his "spider's thread." He does the same thing by killing his fiancee. However, this didn't change anything in the end and Satoru was still climbing on his spider thread, snapping it and sending them both to Hell.
In short, the story is heavily implying both of them will kill each other in the end.
Okay, that makes sense, thanks. Is there any reason in the story why the teacher is so fucked up then? Why he likes killing little girls (and girly boys)? Is it due to his brother's influence perhaps? Or the beatings he took from his brother?
His brother was indeed the main reason because while he received a lot of praise from his parents, his brother really led him the wrong way. The idea here is that the guilt of doing the shit over and over for his brother got to him and he found out that he actually enjoyed doing it because it was one of the few things that he did that gained any sort of validation or trust from his brother.
Long story short, his brother fucked with his mind. His parent's approval was normal, but he was also kind of a psychopath by wanting to get his brother's approval.
Any other questions?
I thought it could be some sort of underlying evilness as well, given at how complacently he abided by his brother's actions, and how mercilessly he framed his brother. Not to mention while his brother just fucked lolis and released them, he just kills them.
Yeah. He never went about the raping part at all. IIRC he didn't even give a shit. He just liked killing them which is why he killed Girly-boy to make it look like it was a pedo.
>Here's the name of the series. Search for it on the 2chan archive. I don't want to do the work for you.
I already did. I couldn't find anything . And let me be clear, what I mean by source is the name and issue of the magazine or mook it was scaned from. That's what you have to provide if you want to prove the interview is legit.
I honestly don't find any reason I have to prove to you. If you don't want to believe it, that's fine. I have too much work to do today to dig through the entire thing.
And I doubt you dug through the entire thing, seeing as you haven't proven you can read Japanese. It was a leak and there's no way I'd ever know where it came from. That's why I said it was from questionable origins last night. So yeah, I know it might be fake but it also might be real. Who knows. It was something on 2chan and I put it up for discussion, not to deal with shitposters.
Can't we all get along?
I never heard of the term until I looked it up, but holy shit you got the definition down.
Putting this into context of anime, though, Airi is your happy go-lucky girl and Kayo is the kuudere
So I just started watching this anime, and can I ask why people are so up in arms about a Kayo ending?
It seems pretty obvious that's how it's going to end, given she comes back from the dead
