This is the best shounen opening. THIS IS FACT!
Come and appreciate greatness.
here you go OP
stop being such a casual linking to YT:
you're wrong though
>Cameraman with Parkinsons
>shots of random buildings and empty streets for half the opening
You niggaz serious?
Haven't seen any naruto threads lately.
Great scenes and animations. Not a fan of the music though. I only read the manga for most of shippuden, but this was meant to be during a period of heavy action in the anime, right? Doesn't feel hype enough to me.
Also, Haruka Kanata will always be no1 naruto opening
Posting a classic shonen series, regardless of what some random dick on an anime and manga imageboard thinks, in a shonen thread
Yeah, what a plebeian. You told them.
manga releases first, lack of censorship and you don't really get filler, what's not to understand?
Of course sound, movement, etc., is a better experience, but once I've already read it, I'm not too keen on watching the same part again. I just usually watch the fights/ action scenes
So you actually gonna dispute my post, or just filling your shitpost quota? How you gonna tell me the best bleach opening is one that has literally nothing for half the opening?
5 was good too, made better by the climactic episodes it was covering, but chuunin arc was my favourite part, so haruka kanata had more emotional impact and stuck with me
A lot of people ITT agree with you, what's the appeal?
>manga releases first, lack of censorship and you don't really get filler, what's not to understand?
Considering you get awful scans/scanlations black/white, no animation, lack of in-between events and character progression because Kishi is a hack-writer, lack of VA, soundtrack etc.
Do you really consider the manga better? Just because it's first doesn't make it better. the only thing censored was Kakashi slicing off some no-name's hands, which was more than likely a retcon, because it's completely out of character.
You can always skip the filler. But some filler is good. They gave most supporting characters an added backstory.
If it's not worth rewatching, it's because it's bad. Then it shouldn't be worth rereading either.
I love anime, and I love when a great manga gets a great anime.
But things get lost in the transition. It can be little things like extra blurbs of text while a character's talking, or something big like not being able to properly convey the size or severity of a scene.
It doesn't make an anime bad, but anime does lose things that make some manga genuinely special.
So many trash tier faggots with garbage taste. First of all, Bleach sucks, it went to shit. That said, this is the best Bleach opening: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ty-Nqm4Pdc
As for best shounen opening, there can only be one, no contest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmroZqXImbo
The best shonen ending, there can only be one, no contest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m09Mmvq4obk
I gave reasons for why a "mangafag" would read the manga over anime -- not necessarily because they think it's better. Animation is superior to manga panels!
Release time, if i'm heavily invested in a story and want more asap; lack of censorship, because you're not a babby and don't want to be treated like one; and lack of filler, because you don't want to see pointless shit, are still huge reasons why one would read manga over the anime.
Since your keeping this focused on Naruto, the end of part 1 had, what, 80 something filler eps. You cant just skip that shit.
>If it's not worth rewatching, it's because it's bad. Then it shouldn't be worth rereading either.
I meant rewatching as in reading the manga then watching the same part in the anime. I already know what's going to happen, I could be using that time to pick up a new series. Never mentioned rereading, and I would rather rewatch than reread anyway. The only time I'd read the manga over watch the anime is if I was debating on a forum and needed the true events that occured
e.g. One piece anime made Akainu look like a pussy vs Whitebeard, whereas the manga didnt
What gets me is that for a show where dead people turn in to Monsters, Samurai, or Peasants, so many filler arcs were filled with bland villains. Zanpakto rebellion being the one exception.
>it went to shit
it can still have great OPs you know that
Quality is quality. Autists like you should stop caring how popular something is and basing your judgment on that, it indicates low IQ and weak character.
I was one of the first people to pick up Death Note before it became popular and loved it, still to this day one of the best shounen ever made, with all its flaws.
That said, shounen are pleb tier, go seinen or go home.
I used to turn my volume up to max when I listened to this op for each episode it aired.
My family probably didn't appreciate that since it was usually at like 3am
I haven't watched bleach since then either
>That said, shounen are pleb tier, go seinen or go home
Do you know how many different types of series shounen encompasses?
Some people have shitty tastes.
Bleach was meh and the best opening it had was the 1st one.
Why can't mainstream faggots even notice the best thing about their shit. damn.
The best "shonen" opening is here bois
>Shit talks people taste in shounen
Orange range and ichirin no hana are about equal as bleach openings in my opinion.
Orange range is proably a bit more sophisticated, imaginative and unique, but ichirin no hana has more emotional pull and impact and excitement.
>Animation is superior to manga panels!
only very high quality animation.
in typical long-run shounen anime animation, most of the animation you see is not especially impressive, even stale bar important scenes and episodes.
on the other hand the manga's panels are usually of a similar quality throughout and frequently more exciting, expressive, impactful etc.
providing you have enough intelligence for your imagination to be captivated to visualise the choreography in between panels.
if all you see when you read manga is literally just the panels then yeah you can't be helped.
Where my Gintama bro's at?
Posting best Gintama OP.
>only very high quality animation.
not true. As long as it's bearable, not QUALITY levels, moving pictures are better than still colourless ones
>providing you have enough intelligence for your imagination to be captivated to visualise the choreography in between panels.
this shouldnt even warrant a response but id like to see whats happening than make well informed guesses, with the added benefits of music and colour too
>see whats happening
Bruh, the only difference is you're seeing what the producers of "x anime" are imagining it to look like rather than your own interpretation.
Music and colors is definitely a benefit though most of the time.
You know people still make photo series, right?
I'm not. Kishi's not exactly the best example, I'll give you that, but there are plenty of anime adaptations where the directing just isn't as good as the manga's paneling or where adding motion to begin with is unnecessary or even dilutes the experience. Not to mention the lower detail art/designs that almost always comes with drawing thousands of frames.
I forgot how comfy Bleach was.
The music is nothing unheard of.
And you saying it's the best Naruto opening when we have things like these(among others)
is kinda dumb
> Not posting the true king of OPs
You're all objectively incorrect.
Picture completely unrelated.
>But in Naruto's case. The anime is better.
>Bruh, the only difference is you're seeing what the producers of "x anime" are imagining it to look like
yes, but ignoring canon/ source stuff, this makes for a superior experience than imagining.
yes. i mentioned nostalgia for people that would negatively view any creation that's different from the way they experienced it
i'd like to point out that i'm not talking about a specific series, just comparing moving visuals, colours and audio to still panels
it always has the potential to be better than still panels as long as they do not fuck up certain aspects, but talking about that would lead to individual cases. Again, im just comparing the methods of presenting
No. Was saying that to people ITT who are implying intros cant be good because they are associated with shonenshit. RK is my favorite Shonen manga of all time. Consistent and enjoyable as fuck.
Don't mind me I'm just putting these here
Oh man, I totally forgot about best boy Urahara.
It's been too long. I should rewatch the first season of Bleach.
>it always has the potential to be better than still panels as long as they do not fuck up certain aspects, but talking about that would lead to individual cases. Again, im just comparing the methods of presenting
I'm also talking about the methods of presenting, and either can be better than the other based on the specific case. If someone good with their medium creates something in that medium, it's unlikely to be better done in adaptation even if the person doing the adaptation is equally competent.
If you think this is better then I don't know what to tell you asides that you're retarded.
Naruto is debatable but you're clearly not a Bleachfag. Kubo obviously has issues with backgrounds, but there's too many awesome details and subtle things the anime misses. The overall general quality of the Bleach anime is shit. I was never really impressed with the things they added in that weren't in the manga either.
>Anon-kun why are you such a faggot
Nobody posting good OPs
Excellent taste. The first Bleach OP had an excellent, catchy song that not only fit the mood of the series and the scenes for the minute and a half intro, the design of the characters and the style is superb. It's really incredible. Beyond the nostalgia (which boosts it to being best OP of all time), it shows just what Bleach used to be like; a character based show with some detective/action going on with cool friends, a big cast and a melancholy love story. It was Yu Yu Hakusho, but instead of it being a ROMCOM made by Rumiko, it was 100% style made by an aspiring fashion artist. And it looked amazing and was FUN to read. I miss those times and I think one of the reasons Bleach got so popular in the fist place was because the anime got SUCH a good opening track. Then the 2nd OP came in and solidified it as a shonen worth watching (with a fuckhuge cast, holy shit).
Also, kudos to everyone who loves the OP of Yu Yu Hakusho. That is a damn fine intro.
There isn't a single one of you who didn't want to be the very best after watching this intro.
ANO WO SORA NI
I BELIEVE, HITOTSU no
>best shonen op
I'd post Bleach's After Dark but all the YT versions sounds like complete garbage
Early BLEACH really helped define what a great manga or anime should be for me. Not what was objectively best, but what really made me enjoy a series. I acknowledge early BLEACH's flaws and hate what it has become., but i will never be able to get over how good it made me feel to see a world with so much style and energy.
It is so inspiring, though! But yeah, Fuck Ash, this anime went on too long. He should've never left Misty. They should've followed the Manga.
Then there would at least be romance tension between Red Misty and Yellow.
Bottom right panel is fairly unclear.
The anime does it better:
Also is that really the best scans you got laying around? I'd go brag about even I had better scans laying around despite not having read it, but I only have the later volumes.
Oh turns out I do have it, but the upload limit is 4MB
>It was Yu Yu Hakusho, but instead of it being a ROMCOM made by Rumiko, it was 100% style made by an aspiring fashion artist.
What? Oh wait, now I got it.
If we wanna discuss Kubo's fight scenes then go read the first chapter. It does a great job of showing all of his talents in a single chapterlike it should. I can't really agree about bottom right panel, it's a guy getting his head stepped on.
Talking about manga vs anime as a whole, it's all about what each can offer and what people like.
Goodmanga is about many small details adding up to a great experience. Little things like extra lines of text or the way the artist did the line art for a particular scene. Manga allows a lot of room for expression because the whole thing usually stems from one person, minus assistants and sources. Anime is more about getting everything in one big package all in one go. You're blasted with all the parts of an anime at the same time and it means that less individual things get to stand out. Anime can't maintain certain elements of a scene as well as a manga 9/10 times. It also loses some of it's individuality because it's made by so many people
In the end it really comes down to what does it for you, but i think manga does a better job of giving you the information you need to truly enjoy the content.
Yeah, so maybe he was on a tighter leash at the pilot. Strange, that never happened before? You are totally not convincing me with a scene that isn't even a fight scene, it's just a fucking kick. One that's done better in the anime.
I didn't read the rest. Too wordy.
The overlaid sound effects is what really sells it for me.
>best shounen opening.
Nigga, you're kidding.
I've always loved this one.
DoCo version was pretty good too
And I love this ova OP
I like all the English DoCo songs too and wish Ranma could get a real ending
>Beet the Vandel Buster
Wow, I thought I'm the only one who remembers that show. Also, I can't find the OP by itself, but... no Ushio and Tora OVA?
I assume Fairy Tail is the Naruto/Bleach for this generation
Shit show but good music.
Saint Seiya's got some good shit.
Also, no Magi?
Also, some favorite shounen OPs...
persona music is always the best music.
great taste, but inuyasha is techincally a shoujo, not shounen, so like. . . yeh.
that being said, second ending a best. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBCljICdK-Q&ab_channel=Zoe
i honestly classify it as a pseudo-cross, but i don't know, i've always heard people spew it as shoujo. if it was published in SS, then my bad, i didn't know that.
>Just kill yourself already
i died inside long ago. i'm posting on /a/ on a friday night, after all.
A what now?
>i died inside long ago. i'm posting on /a/ on a friday night, after all.
If you're going to post here regularly, then lurk more and stop typing like a retarded sixteen-year-old.
