Even with Mirai, he's yet to be very interesting. They're already delving into his backstory as a pretty predictable 'elite veteran' type. I really hope they do something more with his character -- they've barely even said anything even in the neighborhood of why he hates coils so much aside from reminders that he does in the first place.
I'm going to keep up with this for a few more episodes but I'm not optimistic.
