Looks pretty fucking good
Leon needs to get down to business, Ema is looking fine as hell
Probably not, he still has the Gaia sword in the poster so it most likely got repaired after the HnK finale
Mmm, dynamic duo.
You've come a long way Leon
>Still mad over best girl winning
>Expecting anything from Inoue
GnT is alright, it's nothing special but it's not terrible either
>actual fun Garo.
>tfw you reminded me I dropped the Crimson moon
Has it gotten ANY better? I mean goddammit I managed to sit through Yami wo Terasu
It's decent, but I find it kinda dull after HnK and Goldstorm
There we go.
It doesn't fully remove the pain from Guren no Tsuki being so bad, but it helps.
Art thou me? I dropped that shit at the end of the first season because I couldn't be fucked to keep up. It had nothing that the first anime offered and I didn't care about any of the characters nor events going on. Damn shame. First anime really took me by surprise with its quality.
Here's hoping the new Spear Knight in the trailer is as sick as Dan
I wonder if Based Alfonso has a waifu yet
It went from a chore to watchable, sometimes enjoyable.
Though I have to say, it's not marathon friendly as the monster of the week format is a real turnoff for some.
I think the greatest sin is the dull as fuck fights. They just flip around a bunch, and as soon as they get a hit in, it's over. While HnK had more intense fights, hell even Mecha-Garo was more interesting that 80% of the fights in GnT
The fights are definitely below par for the series. Atleast the CG has improved now that Garo Jin and Zanga have been introduced
I'll say HnK was like that intially, but there was a clear progression in the strength of horrors, and the monster of the week was mixed up a fair bit
The first fight in HnK is better than everything GnT has done so far
admittedly it's an incredibly strong opening fight anyway
True but the first episode clearly had more budget than the following episodes until the second half. (as is generally the case)
GnT intially had really atrocious CG for the first few episodes even by the bottom of HnK standards, didn't watch long enough to see if it improved significantly.
Leon's Waifu is pretty much ma, judging by thst trailer she's the only one in the running and she's an alchemist much like his mother. I do wonder if Leon's dual wielding trait is passed down or only first generations can do it.
It got better, it looks okay now
>waiting for WhyNot
I don't want to watch funi damn it
Garo has great fight choregraphy, the animation quality has ever really been all that great but the choregraphy of the bigger fights is top notch, Leon Vs Alphonse is better than the vast majority modern TV anime fights choregraphy wise. It has a rare sense of momentum and lethality to it.
It's not very good, but I really like it.
Which is a shame because it's the non action scenes that are good, the actual story for episodic formats are almost enjoyable, like bandit bro and the chick and the kid.
I think the main problem with the show is that Raiko is just ugly and boring as shit. Like there isn't anything he does that's interesting and Kintoki is just fucking annoying. I feel like every side turtle is more interesting, even the turtle.
>More than anything else, this episode made the mistake of introducing a happy turtle friend only to rip it away from me at the last minute. Fun fact: I love turtles. They are beautiful, precious creatures. Tiny Raikou meets a turtle who becomes his ally, hitching a ride on him back home. The addition of a turtle to the cast on a permanent basis would have significantly increased my enjoyment of Garo: Crimson Moon. But instead, after the episode plot is already over and done with, the episode ends on the note that turtle friend has been killed and cooked by Shiki-nyan. That turtle was innocent and kind. All it did was help. Its death is not amusing and lands like an insult. It also ruins Shiki-nyan, who I had trusted. I don't know whether we can recover from this, Garo.
Different writers, along with a different studio working on the CG.
Zanga is cool though.
