They've got over a billion people. That's a pretty large pool of talent. Sometimes you get people who are so crazy good that you wonder why they're wasting their talents drawing comics.

Of course, it goes the other way too. There is also a larger pool of utter shit.

Chinese can make some decent fantasy series, but with their current mentality, they're hardly making any improvement.

A few are alright, some are quite good.

There's some real pools of shit. Everything by that one gook artist for one.
Everything that falls into the "porn poorly pretending it has a plot" for two.

Exactly this. I don't think our government is fucked up though. And most of the manga artists here are failures at education who lived under poor standard condition.
