I'm also interested in RahXephon, Argento Soma and Zettai Shounen.

I'm not a fan of it but Hanada Shounen-shi really lacks recognition.

Early 2000's era seems to be the one where I lack anime knowledge the most.

Scryed isn't a masterpiece, but the end fight between the protag and his rival is worth it.

GA is one of the diamonds in the rough of 2000's anime and possibly one of the funniest shows to come out of Japan and only ignored due to the fact that it came out during the awkward phase of animation during the 2000's. The regular episode length is 11 minutes so the comedy doesn't overstay its welcome and it's a lengthy stretch for a comedy series with 4 great seasons while the fanbase generally denounces the existence of the 5th generation.

It's also a decently entertaining hexalogy of VNs

The early 2000 gave us a boon of Harlock stuff, Cosmo Warrior Zero, Maetel Legend, Endless Odyssey...
They're all bretty good stuff, sometimes the quality takes a bit of a hit but they're decent stuff to watch, especially if you like the Leijiverse, Space Symphony Maetel is pretty crappy though.

Maetel is Matsumoto's waifu, so that's to be expected.
Queen Emeraldas OVAs were pretty great though, Maetel got more stuff but most of it is pretty bad, especially the last series.

I've been meaning to do something like that, but I get discouraged every time when I think about all the stuff I'll have to put in there and explaining the schizophrenic continuity.
What's worse is that literally everything Matsumoto made is connected because quantum multiverse lol, so if you have to make a chart or image guide it would be extremely messy and huge since everything from Queen Millennia to Gun Frontier shares some connection of sorts.

Yeah I watched and dropped them both when Madlax was airing. I think I made it almost halfway through Noir. I don't remember too much but I remember being really annoyed with the music. There would be a fast beat going and a just still shot of a character's face for 10 seconds
