>/a/ hypes up the anime to be amazing
>it's complete shit
>Majority > Minority
Clearly since most people on /a/ like it, it's most likely good, therefore the problem is on you. You're probably a contrarian fuck though, who when gets recommended a series and told it's great, watches it extremely critically and looks for only flaws and not for any strengths.
But it's the deconstruction of the shounen genre!!!!
I wasn't here for the initial hyp but I thought was breddy gud. You don't have to give me "amazing" but it wasn't shit man.
>anime that's only memed on /a/ turns out to be 10/10
>anime that /a/ insults and attributes to /v/ is a masterpiece
Nice try you made me check, but naruto doesn't show up in their top anime until 319, and even that is just the boruto movie, and the series is ranked 614, so nice bait.
Anyhow, difference is /a/ has taste. /a/ isn't casual like MAL. If you think it doesn't have taste than why are you purposely on the same board with other people who have no taste?
>/a/ shits on an anime for being "edgy"
>it's another depressed Japanese man masterpiece
So Ra No Wo To
A Certain Scientific Railgun
Non Non Biyori
That's just a few off the top of my head that I watched because /a/ said they were great. They all turned out to be mediocre or straight up garbage.
>/a/ won't shut up about whether a certain anime is good or bad
>10/10 anime in the background with quality threads while the kiddies and shitposters stick to that certain anime
>mouths/years later the person focused on the debated anime finds the 10/10 anime
>"Why hasn't anyone told me about this anime!"
I enjoyed the anime. Everything felt out of context and dystopian at the beginning leading to one bizarre surprise after the other. Gantz was good at creating tension and making the viewer feel uncomfortable or horrified at the thought of living through its scenarios. The show also had good comedic timing throughout made interesting use of weird Japanese techno.
Would recommend watching baked. Never will forget Kurono's thinking his heroic monologue, when cornered by green onion alien, only to ditch Kishimoto with this optimistic grin on his face.
>Calling Redline shit
I think we need to send you to anime rehab.
Perfect description of Hidamari Sketch.
But /a/non! What are you talking about?! All anime is shit according to /a/!
You're right SAO and SNK are the best animes of all time.
Do people actually come here for opinions? If course they're shit, this place is full of underage babbies and anime only faggots.
I only come here for early OPM translations or some random manga news.
If you want to see how bad it is, look what manga people are posting in OPTs.
Disgusting to say the least. Last good discover I made by coming here was Scipio vs Hannibal. And before that Innocent.
>Uses /a/ regularly
>Thinks that /a/ has taste
>Do people actually come here for opinions?
No point in doing so once you figure out that everything is shat upon for merely existing. Don't bother doing anything in life because shitposters with unrealistic expectations will try to doubt you as much as they doubt themselves.
Sora No Woto is actually pretty good so fuck you.
No one ever called Railgun amazing except in comparison to Index.
Non Non and Bakemonogatari aren't complete shit.
Non one ever called Samurai Flamenco amazing, in fact I think the most common descriptor is "trainwreck"
Haven't seen Redline.
SAO and SNK for me, the two anime /a/ hates the most after Naruto
They are far from perfect but they're a lot of fun, and since I only watch anime to have fun I don't really need anything else to like something
>One Meme Man
>Kino no Tabi
People here take fun animes for granted, until they remember what passes for fun in the west.
I tried watching it. Got halfway through. It was garbage up to the point and I just completely lost interest.
/a/'s taste in general has been pretty shit since 2010. I have barely enjoyed anything /a/ has been into, and there's so much goddamn waifuposting going on here nowadays.
/a/'s taste in manga isn't bad though. Sometimes.
2/10 not even making them allign by using the same resolution
I feel as if the misalignment of them increases the smugness.
Just shows your lack of commitment to shitposting
Ok, thanks for the input. I'll be sure to fix it up.
I wouldn't really call it hipster so much as I'd call it an "oldfag's anime". Meaning it's mostly newfags that don't know it.
Oh wait you might be right since more than half of /a/ is newfags now a days
Sora no Woto is absolute shit except for maybe the last two episodes and even then they fucked up in the last few minutes.
>b-but muh piss episode
>b-but muh OST
>b-but muh completely ignored setting that gives off a sense of mystery
>b-but muh stre/a/ms
It wasn't shit, it just wasn't that great. Kinda a paint by numbers "Grimdark reimagining." of the Mahou Shoujo genre.
Monsters with an origin not explained until some ways into the plot turning out to be people? check.
People talking about arranging a celebration before a battle going on to get murdered in said battle? check
Everything that is supposed to be cute and adorable turns out to be terrifying? check.
For something /a/ went on and on about being so unique, it was so unoriginal. It didn't even get interesting until about episode 10... in a 12 episode series.
Ultimately, I will always see this shows fanbase as the same fanbase of Final Fantasy XIII:
>"It get's good after the first 40 hours."
Not saying it's bad, but it's just not that great.
>Anime can't be considered good unless it's god tier but nobody can agree because if a lot of people like it and it gets popular, it's automatically shit.
You fags just want to be critical of shit and nitpick.
this piece of shit.
every fucking episode so far they do nothing and all they fucking do is cry about everything.
