Nothing happen : the chapter
So ... smug
stop, it's embarrassing.
and the last page.
>ditching the harem for his true waifu.
good job touta.
see you next week
Sorry but cuck doesn't work when it's undeclared history, your NTR will only come to fruit with a BTFO chapter.
Touta has got the right attitude, he's 4 vs a woman that's hundreds of years old, and he's able to win her over a little so far.
FUCK THIS SHIT
None? Why would anyone go to this thread if they didn't read it?
Kirie is the best, everyone else might as well quit
These two don't resemble any characters I'm familiar with at all. Nope.
He probably has some Konoe genes inside him too. Because he sure as hell didn't get black hair from his Ostian or Springfield genes and the Konoe have the best magic genes in Japan.
>This manga bombed harder than Nagasaki and Hiroshima that the author has been adding Negima elements for the past few chapters
UQ never bombed you mongloid. It's been one of the more popular manga in Weekly Shonen Magazine for a good while.
Better be dead than be cucked, Ken ruined her.
Zazie Raindance x Negi clone daughterfu.
Onee-chan is going to have a tough time, at least he'll have the sweet Konoe's to take care of now.
Also Chao is Negi's legitimate daughter, mother was the cook in the class, only passable Chinese character that kept in touch with all the girls, and had Eva's respect.
I didn't understand jackshit aobut the Olympics.
So the Normal People Olympics will be in Australia and no one will give a fuck about them and the Cyborg + Magic Olympics in Tokio are actually Mahora? Or is Mahora happening in Tokio at the same time of both Olympics?
Wasn't the brown girl his imouto rather than his onee-chan? Pretty sure she called him nii-san and all.
And as long as we're speculating what if Touta and Brown Imouto were created as paired experiments to see what would happen if they introduced more human DNA vs. more demon DNA to try to stabilize Magia Erebea?
The main normal and cyborg Olympics are in Indonesia. Japan and Australia are competing for the spillover profits and holding "secret" magic Olympics. Japan's competition is being held in Tokyo, which coincides with the Mahora festival.
Not OP but...
Yet I find /a/ hates this series less and less due to all the hints and throwbacks to negima, as well as the plot starting to get its ass in gear. As long as ken does the end justice he can actually wrap up this series like he should've and gave all the bullshit that happened in the last volume of negima a nice a long deserved bandaid.
Personally speaking I take this series as an interesting window to see the very era negi and ala alba created.
No, there's old Negima crowd that never forgave Aka, and shit storm when strong developments tied to old cast occur, but lurk.
The ones that have moved on and accepted UQ as it is, with Touta character grown on them which creates the chill discussions.
Then you've got those who hate Touta which the entire manga focuses on, didn't survive the first 30 and hypocritically dropped it, popping in from time to time.
/a/ never forgives, despite the effort Aka has done in japan.
Honestly, I'm only looking at the drawings when new chapters are released and unless Negi's romantic love is resolved, I might read it from the start if the the love interest is Eva, since UQH is about her story. Otherwise I'll pick it up from there.
It's been like 9 months. It just feels like years.
Also he's stuck at 12 forever.
It's. about the world he created.
However, he's not posing as the CEO of the new world, controlled by an immortal bitch from another dimension.
UQ holder isnt about eva its about touta and the future negi and ala alba created. And no we don't know who his romantic interest is, much less who it is. And either way I don't even think negi can have kids since now hes got a bunch of "grand children" running around he doesn't even know about.
The only thing I expect to see resolved is the lifemaker(magic world) arc, and what happened to much of the cast (and their descendants) after negima ended. The only thing I expect is for ken to have him eventually confess who it was.
I'm pretty sure hoping for more than that is just wishful thinking
I doubt there will be any big plot points connecting directly to unanswered Negima questions, since it's intentionally written so that readers can become immersed in it without needing to have read Negima.
Since UQ Holder's timeline is different from the Negima ending timeline, it's more about one possible future Negi created. More specifically, it's the world where Negi was captured and likely failed to fully follow through on his ideas.
In the Negima ending timeline, the Lifemaker was defeated and Nagi was rescued.
That's not the case in UQ Holder, so it's HIGHLY FUCKING LIKELY that it's the timeline where Asuna is asleep/sealed.
You can, but it's an active magical process that disappears if any sort of magic canceling is applied to it. Eva's true form is still a ten year old loli even if she can shapeshifter.
Touta can't even use magic so there's no way he's magically altering his body to look older, even subconsciously.
but touta was born with magia erebea as far as we know when he was cloned and he grew up... or maybe not, I can't rember if there's been any flashback of touta as a little kid and not looking like 12 - 15.
>What's wrong /a/
>You seem awful interested in Tōta lately
>Could it be that you LIKE him?
Never got the chance? He's 4, for gods sake. Give him time.
Negi was 10 years old when he stopped aging, and Touta is a clone of him. He then aged for four years before becoming a vampire, leaving him physically 14.
Although in the Negimaverse, as far as I can tell, becoming a vampire basically means tapping into the Black Magic of Venus, albeit on a much, much simpler level than say, Magia Erebea. Touta was born with huge concentrations of Black Magic within his body, so becoming a vampire was dead simple for him. It's hard to say if he's even technically a vampire anymore, as it kinda seems like Magia Erebea more or less replaced his vampiric abilities. Makes sense, seeing as they're basically the same thing, just on two completely different levels.
I do like to think that he did stuff before Eva revived him, so I wonder if they will adress that eventually. Would be funny if Touta before memory loss was an edgelord like Imouto.
>Although in the Negimaverse, as far as I can tell, becoming a vampire basically means tapping into the Black Magic of Venus
No. Touta is born with Magia Erebea but he wasn't a vampire. Even Dana and the Nobles don't have Magia Erebea.
Probably, but it would be nice if the reason Touta is so good with ME is because he knew them before he lost his memories like how Asuna knew how to do a lot of stuff. Plus I do think that Touta's origins are one of the biggest mysteries in the manga.
Touta isn't a clone of negi
How do people not understand this? Only 1/4 of Touta's DNA belongs to Negi. He is a genetically engineered "grandson" designed as a biological weapon with the traits of several of the world's most powerful people who happened to belong to Negi's circle of friends.
reign it in. We know Touta is a copy of a copy and that there's some other stuff mixed in there. And that's as far as it goes. You are being to specific about stuff we don't actually have information about.
What does Eva want to talk about? Was Nippon's reaction to chapter 110 so negative that he needs to clarify it, but the name for this week was already mostly finished so he had to throw and extra page in there to link to chapter 112's redaction/clarification?
Eva became an immortal vampire and created ME.
Negi became an immortal by mastering ME but he isn't a vampire.
Touta is immortal because of ME and became a vampire after because he drank Eva blood.
The last page of Eva dragging him off, and the peanut gallery commenting on the marriage thing seems really out of place considering the previous chapter Ken was like "Eva/Touta romance on hold until we get further into the actual plot"
Putting it on hold would mean there will be no development at all. It can't just happen out of the blue and they have to continue interacting in the story. He's recognized as her favorite by the others and everything doesn't have to be romantic.
She doesn't have MC to cancel her unaging like Touta has? Honestly who knows, the best explanation is that Touta is not growing and it's just Ken's art style changing him and making him look older.
Vampirism immediately stops your growth. Her immortality comes from it, she created Magia Erebea after as a fighting technique. But if a normal human masters it, he slowly becomes immortal and at a point his growth stop. That's what happened to Negi.
hmm. I guess. I just though there would be a little cooldown between 110 and interacting with Eva again. But maybe it'll be the opposite. Eva will become a character again after all that time during the training arc where she was sidelined.
The marriage lines raised a flag for me but I guess you can chalk it up to harem jealously.
Oh great, recycling old characters. Actually you know what, if those two enter the harem then we'll see proxy Setsuna and Konoka craving the D. This will surely please the yuri audience.
You can explain everything with the age-old "I met him as Kitty, and he looked the same/was a vampire when I met him, ergo I need to make him a vampire; because muh causality of time" excuse.
>stuck in the daughterzone
>declared she didn't like him right in front off him
That last one musta fuckin hurt Touta after being semi-rejected by another girl just a chapter ago.
Why would Touta care? He isn't interested in Kirie at all.
Kirie is weird for not having raped Touta and savescummed.
That's something which would hurt someone like Kuromaru. He literally didn't react to this, the only thing which affected him on a long term was the Fate thing, and now he's over it. A girl you are not interested in saying that she doesn't like you doesn't really affect people.
She can't overpower him so no rape.
True, but remember that Touta is a bit more fragile than he looks, so being rejected by a friend would hurt. Now, this time he didn't care because Kirie was mostly not being that serious, but a serious rejection would still hurt the boy.
That's not really true. Most people want to be liked by other people after all. Someone flat out saying they don't like you stings unless it was someone you already decided you don't like.
Now, it's not heartbreaking or anything, no.
Well, Touta always thought she disliked him. He's positive enough to not care about these kind of things too much. That's the guy who completely recovered 2 or 3 minutes after a confession.
Isn't it obvious they will?
I don't have much hope after seeing Karen joining the harem like it was nothing.
That way Akamatsu can show straight Setsuna and Konoka wanting the D of the harem MC without pissing the yuri fandom saying that's not them, just grandkids, clones, different characters etc. but looking exactly the same for visual reasons.
From other side I can't really understand Akamatsu to make KonoSetsu happen in Negima just to take it away in this pseudo sequel, I doubt anyone forced him before to add the yuri pairing.
>Touta hoola hoops for 3 months
>Decides to try to steal a spaceship and travel to space and see how far he can go
>doesn't realize it will literally take quadrillions of years
Touta could have saved the Earth if he went around setting up a big Rube Goldberg Machine that would result in all children being happy and all villains being gone during the timestop.
But instead he decides to be fucking insane.
Also nobody ever addresses that
>timestop would cause the atmosphere's molecules to be stuck at absolute zero and it would become impossible to move, you'd be stuck in place.
>Also nobody ever addresses that
>>timestop would cause the atmosphere's molecules to be stuck at absolute zero and it would become impossible to move, you'd be stuck in place.
That's basic timestop hand waves.
How you cant see because photons arent replaced or how you can still move stuff even if they are stopped and stuff like that.
A million different manga/anime have timestops
I only thought of it once. And then used that thought for any applicable situations.
Probably took like 2-3 nanometers of glucose.
If he could launch the spaceship into space it would just keep going and never stop. He's probably strong enough to just throw it hard enough to breech the atmosphere.
Since the universe can't expand or contract during the timestop he would eventually reach the end of it if he just sat there and jacked off.
How else can they have kids biologically other than cloning? Besides, we actually saw these girls briefly in Negima during the part that was a recorded message to Asuna from old Ayaka when she woke up in the future.
Chao doesn't exist yet, the situation that brought her to being may not even happen because the timeline is vastly different to what she described. So her parents may never even get together.
No, I'm not saying he was already a vampire.
I'm saying that Vampirism and Magia Erebea are two sides of the same coin. Eva created Magia Erebea based on her own state of existence. It was her way of mastering her own abilities. And Eva is a vampire, so...
So Magia Erebea is sort of like an enhanced type of vampirism. One that feeds upon the soul, rather than feeds upon blood. They are both types of magic based on the Black Magic of Venus, but used in different ways. Just like how the White Magic of Mars can be used in different ways.
Well the series has already proven itself to be a multiverse, just means that any post negima/terraformed ending lowers the chance of a chao (the one we know, biologically she may still exist, but not the events that made her) timeline. Still holding out hope this is a asuna's still frozen timeline.
I do think this is an Asuna sleeps timeline, but probably not the one we saw at the end of Negima. I doubt Ken will allow himself to be too tied to that failed timeline.
In the tournament arc, just you wait.
>the author himself wants you to stop talking about his previous series
>he hated the main character so much he just dropped the series and made a sequel where everything is overwritten with a new MC
Negi will appear at the very end of UQ Holder because thematically him and Touta can not occupy the same manga at the same time. Negi will never actually be a character again, move on.
The tournament is at least 2 arcs behind the frozen prison shit Negi's. But Negi appearing this soon would signal the manga entering it's conclusion based on the way the story is structured.
It will probably be a fake Negi (think Alberio), or Eva and Fate will deal with Negi directly, but I am willing to bet that Ken will at least show him to set in the goal of saving Negi and prepare stuff for a Mars/Venus arc.
I wish he would go back to loli Eva. We don't need this half baked sensei version. The original adult Eva had a much better body style with the Hime cut.
Also,Negima already had a far superior sex-bomb sensei.
The demon realm,is probably going to be Zazie-centric,but it's also on venus. If Touta is serious about lifting karin's curse, then at some point they'll have to go to the divine realm. Also,an afterlife realm would be a better way to actually meet the cast, instead of this constant grandchild meme. I'd rather go to some realm and meet the souls of almost eveyrone in 3A.
I don't want discount Konoka and Settsuna.
Even though I can't bring myself to give a shit about UQ Holder itself, or any of the new characters really, I'm still going to have to read it to figure out what happened to all of the Mahora girls.
There's no escape.
It's fine, just stop being that tsundere and admit you like some parts of it, it can't be all bad right?
IF they want to meet the 3A cast then they will do it by timetravel which would be more organic. I really doubt Touta will go to the heavens and punch god for Karin, I bet they will solve it by Karin accepting god's love or her meeting the teacher she betrayed again.

I personally took it as Negi and co seemingly defeated Lifemaker but only years down the line later they find out that Lifemaker had one last trump card to play which is whats happening now
>timeline A-the one wehre Chao is born and she originally comes from
>timeline B-the main one that 90 or more % of Negima takes place in-Asuna sleeps for 130 years and negi somehow goes missing-probably UQ holder as well
>timeline C-the one containing the final few chapters of negima-Asuna is brought back in time by Chao and Nagi is rescued and the lifemaker killed. No waifu was chosen.
I doubt it. They specifically told us anti-magic, like Asuna has, is needed to defeat the lifemaker for good.
Their failure suggests that she wasn't around.
a few others may still be alive as hags. Also we don't know for sure what other dna was mixed into murder imouto.
Nah, it's really quite simple.
There are only four main timelines.
1. Inverse Mars is destroyed in the future. Chao goes back in time to fix things.
2. Chao exposes magic to humanity. Negi is arrested. Negi and friends go back in time to fix things.
3. Negi prevents Chao from exposing magic. Magic World arc happens. Asuna is sealed away. Negi fails to defeat the Lifemaker. UQ Holder happens. Asuna wakes up. Asuna goes back in time to fix things.
4. Asuna and Negi beat the Lifemaker. Nagi is rescued. Negima ends.
a thought came, are these timelines self contained to their own outcomes or are they all in one and retro actively update to what happens in the past? given that in the 3rd timeline UQ holder is happening and that Asuna would wake up and go back in time, would this mean that Touta would cease to exist?
yeah the only way that would seem likely would be if Holder disbands and Touta and anyone else she cares about dies somehow.
Eva at that point apparently had nothing left to tie her down after seeing Asuna wake up.
