This is a blog thread but whatever. I've been trying to work out more often to prepare myself for Navy Bootcamp. Just by dieting I lost 20 pounds though. It feels good

Same here. The thing is, California is hardly humid even during the summer, whereas Lackland was a fucking humidity-ridden shitfest with all the heat you'd expect out of South Texas. I honestly prefer being in a cold base where I am now in the Northeast.
I stopped because I started Uni and I'm afraid of exercising alone. I'm going to start going on runs early in the morning soon.
On the bright side, I've lost 7 pounds since January from improving my diet.

Do it once and then challenge yourself to do it the next day. Next challenge your self to do it for 2 days. Then a week, then 2. Then 3. Then a month, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc.
You get the picture.
The first 3 weeks are the hardest. That's where you can't give yourself a break.
Have both short term and long term goals.
It's like playing an RPG, you should "level up" after a set amount of accomplishments. There should be a boss at some set point. Either your maxing out on your lifts that day, or you're trying to beat your record on a run. Life is a game and we are just players.
Or at least that how my autistic mind handles it.
