Anime fuking when? when is the author going to have of his manga animated?
Never, spirit circle is his superior manga
He has good taste but he is not popular enough to have an anime adaptation of one of his mange
>only 12,8 k
Don't give him an anime until he's dead. Giving him an anime will definitely change his writing to accommodate new audience and I don't want that to happen even slightly.
I'd pay for him to never get an anime.
Sengoku Youko is a prequel anyways. All Mizukami's manga take place in the same universe.
pic unrelated but sad
>Scanlations are 22 chapters behind
Goddamn. At least now we finally have a chance to catch up.
Glad to see whatsherface the rock demon girl got better. I should stop reading that now, though.
All of Mizukami's manga take place in a closely related multiverse. That should fix it.
It's actually pretty interesting if you take a look through his stuff and put things together.
>Sengoku Youko and Sanjin Sadou connect
>Hoshi no Samidare connects to both Psycho Staff and Spirit Circle
>Spirit Circle can arguably connect to Sengoku Youko
There's a few stories in Mizukami Satoshi Tanpenshuu that connect to various overlying elements too. Also there's some nameplay that're huge flags if you scour through the pages.
Spirit circle and Sengoku youko might both end this year. is he planning to do a new series?
The one shot Matsuri Connection could get serialized?
the ending was interesting.
I'm sorry, but that isn't Hoshi no Samidare.
Yeah, I really like how well everything fits together despite how loosely they're actually connected.
As much as I loved Biscuit Hammer, I really think Spirit Circle is a bit more tightly written.
Shinsuke got some pretty big "I will be important and save everyone" flags in the most recent chapter.
Especially since the tribe of the void is becoming empathetic, it gives me the vibe that Shinsuke is gonna use his signature talk no jutsu to make everybody nakama and unite against a common enemy.
I'm still trying to figure out the significance of the shogun granting him the name Kazamatsuri.
Are there any famous Kazamatsuri Hyoudou or something?
Samdiare had some pretty awesome moments, but I think overall Spirit Circle is better.
Yeah but it's explicitly said she's not so there you go.
I always found it funny how Sami was Yuuhi's "queen" but Yuuhi was really the mentally dominant one in the relationship later on. Which actually reflects their age difference pretty well too.
I think Samidare's greatest strength was how it was able to flesh out so many different characters so well.
Spirit Circle really only fleshes out the two leads (and their other reincarnations) and to a lesser extent Rune and East.
>Spirit Circle really only fleshes out the two leads
Try rereading it when you're not fucking high. You'll notice how the same characters appear throughout every reincarnation and have their own interwoven plots and developments.
Especially fucking Nono, who is connected to him and him alone and hasn't had love interests or deep connections to anyone besides Fuuta.
The confession was pretty great too
>lose the MCbowl to the overpowered genki girl and your self-esteem plummets so far you marry the safest high-income fatass you can find
His art always reminded me of a less detailed oomori harusame
can't compete with this.
Maybe it was the early bad quality translators at the start of Sengoku Youko but I didn't really get into it until 'Act II', not to say it would've been as strong without Act happening but Senya has been a great character to follow.
We're lining things up for next month.
They're loosely connected by things that show up, not in the same universe. Sengoku Youko however is in the same continuity with Sanjin Sadou and his 100 demon village oneshots by characters shared between them. In the latter, the Raidou and Kazamatsuri clans have passed down their magic swords and genes to modern times with the two families taking care of the town's various demons and their hijinx.
>100 demon village oneshot
Thanks for the reminder that Mizukami Satoshi Tanpenshuu is 3 volumes long and only 8 chapters are translated ;_;
Volume 6 looks remarkably similar to the Volume 16 cover.
Oi Shinsuke CONFIRMED rockfucker!
Shinsuke is manly as shit. Cuck the 1000 tailed demon fox my nigga.
I pictured your "Cuck the 1000 tailed demon fox my nigga" comment as if it was the black text that have a tendency to appear at the end of chapters which basically remark on what happen in the last few pages - and I'm dying. Thanks Anon.
Never because he's retarded.
Years ago, luck struck him and someone propose him an adaptation of Biscuit Hammer, that is actually a pretty mediocre series despite what /a/ can say. He said he would had accepted only if the animation had music of The Pillows, band that became popular only thanks to FLCL
needless to say, the answer was negative and so the project got Cannes
The obvious aftermath of something like this is "you lefuse anime? too bad now you go fuck!" it would happen anywhere, go figure what kind of weight can being infamous can have in a place like japan.
end of the story.
That was a rumor claiming to be from a source that doesn't exist. Even Mizukami has made jokes about his works never getting anime, I remember him joking about a Biscuit Hammer anime on his twitter on April Fools once.
How is this rumor still alive? The guy's never even been interviewed by newtype. He does wants one himself and keeps getting asked for one but he's never had an offer for an anime and he can't convince his publishers that it'd be profitable in any way.
On unrelated matter, I just visited his twitter recently. Turns out his wife had a Nau kigurumi pajama made for their son. There are some cute pictures of the kid in it.
