Bullshit, I played every Souls games and BB and DaS2 is far good enough. It has lots of good features and we finally get back our Souls dealer Waifu and comfy place like the Nexus of DeS, which weren't in DaS1.

Though he should consider buying BB who is clearly better now, he already beat the game.

While DaS2 was good, it was nowhere near the potential of the sequel of DaS.
The entire movement schematics were different, and the maps were nowhere as good.
I mean, how everything linked back to firelink shrine simply blew my mind as I played the same.

I consider DaS2 as a stand alone. DaS3 will be DaS2 in my heart.

They have ton of similarities beginning with the gameplay and overall system, I don't get how you could try to deny that. And Yes, they re-used ton of assets of DeS for DaS, sometimes it felt really lazy.

I do not know how good of a game DeS was, but DaS2 still could not reach the potential of DaS. Or perhaps, DaS2 was actually DeS2, just based on vague assumptions.

I think it just felt so different because they kicked the original director from the project. Why did they ever think that was a good idea?

When DS2 was released people around world, even in Japan, feels tricked. It's not what people who played KF, DeS, DS expected. And after BB release most of them change opinion about DS2. LIke it was not so good but after BB, DS2 seems like fuckin peace of shit. DLC were good tho. Better than original

Not really. It's more dynamic and more based on just dodging rather than using the shield too, if anything that just means the builds are limited.

The blood and dream world are literally the same as DeS's herbs and Nexus system, without the Megaman world system part. There is even the souls dealer waifu waiting for you in it.

Bloodborne is excellent, but it still just mostly combines stuffs from the 3 previous games system wise.

No, they all have different features that makes them good. DaS1 was better than DeS for some stuffs, and not for others. They both have great and shitty bosses. Yes, DeS had its bed of Chaos too.

DeS's online is dead as hell for example, while I got to do ton of PvP on DaS2. They should all be played if possible, and are all great games.

And I guess it would be time to go back to Tsugumomo.

The point of that EVERYTHING is useful. Even low tier weapon can be dangerous in PVP. It's has best magic in series without gimp spells and best PVE, best battle system and strory. People who crying about unlimited healing are never PVP. You can parry heals and that's a reason why pve shittes die so fast. The only problem in BB is unpunishable parry, unrewarding pvp and no death penalty. So you will never get hatemails.
