Shitposting of the OP aside, I seriously don't understand the hard-on hat everyone has for KyoAni. All they make is safe, dime-a-dozen moeblob shows or romcoms, and whenever they try to do something different it's always bogged down by their obsession with moe cliches and having the exact same designs for everything. Literally none of their series has been set outside a fucking high school. They have no diversity or any creative ideas to bring to the table.
Sure they have pretty colors and animation but what good is that if the material they work with is always such mediocre dabble?
Is it nostalgia? Haruhi, Lucky Star, K-On, FMP, etc. are all fairly well known among anime fans and are probably a lot of anons' first/gateway anime series. Is that why they have fond memories of so many KyoAni shows? Because if you look back at them now, they're really nothing special. At all.
