Is Togashi going for the hi-score?
>already halfway through chimera ant's publication time with only nine chapters
After the disaster of the ant and election arcs I'm very glad I don't need to feel obligated to read any more of this shit. If he pumped more chapters out I would have to read them because of how much I've already read.
I stopped following this after Greed Island. I thought I'd come back to the redone art in the Tankouban scans.
I'm a pirate, so it doesn't matter what I think anyway, but it looks like Togashi cares even less.
What if she was just forced by the editor to tone down her series?
Small time. Akagi has been playing the same fucking mahjong game in the same fucking mansion for 20 years. No hiatuses.
>sailor moon draws HxH
THE TIME IS UPON US
>Year is 2025
>HxH finally ended 1 1/2 years ago
>Togashi seems to be on top of his game
>Announced he was starting a new series last year
>After months of hype, he finally released the first chapter.
>After Chapter 2 was finished, a new Monster Quest was announced
>Unrelated, Togashi starts having back problems.
>New series on hiatus after Chapter 4
togashi's properties are popular and profitable yes, but sailor moon's royalties dwarf anything togashi has made. you got any idea how much the merchandise alone is worth? the dvd, bluray and manga licenses? in both japan AND abroad? naoko takeuchi has made and continues to make more money off of one series thank most manga-ka can even dream of
Most aren't, some mangaka just get special treatment. Togashi gets his because Jump overworked him like crazy during YYH, and he managed to get himself a contract that lets him do whatever he wants now. He is a valuable, veteran mangaka though, if he didn't bring in so much money he wouldn't have gotten it.
Where can I find chapters 336-340 of HXH? The only torrent I can find that has them included has no seeders and there are no individual torrents that I can find for these chapters on multiple sites.
I'd be a lot more mad about this if there were any hiatuses to speak of. Sure, I'd prefer a change of pace rather than the same game for this long, but it's been solid the whole way through.
why the fuck dont we start a go fund me page for him lr something? I want this to continue, I feel like all we have seen so far were just introductions. Imagine its like naruto shippuden where gon and killua are older, and go to the lost world to save his dad gin.
It's true that he doesn't need her money to live on though, YYH and HxH are easily sufficient. But her money would explain his total disinclination to earn more than he already does.
This is probably bait
The problem isn't money, its that the author is old and tired as fuck after years of overworking and doesn't give a single flying fuck about his readers beyond securing an income.
There is no reason he'd pay attention to a Venetian Smouldering assembly
He generally makes an announcement and comes back after like a month. We're really close to beating the high score.
That's also half the time it took for the Berserk boat ride.
>Hiatus of Berserk made us wait for them getting off the boat for years
>Hiatus of Hunter x Hunter is making us wait for them to get ON the boat for years
What is it with boats and slow mangaka?
>There's no way he'd go the entire year without a chapter you fucking newfag
Who's laughing now you dick

Is anybody translating these?
It's not really that hard. You just have to remember the 30 something different ways to close the game and try to combine your tiles to combine the most of them together, or trying to go for the most powerful. Or going for a series of quick, low score, victories to close the game as fast as you can while you're in the lead.
There's also the simple part about knowing what tiles have already been played, and risk management on deciding wether to use someone else discard or not to make a combination, since it stops you to use a lot of finishing combinations.
Then there is the simple part about the minipoints.
And of course, probability and hoping the tile you need is not in the untouchable wall.
And of course, there's the part about reading the opponent discarded tiles to guess what they have in their hand and how they are trying to win.
Also, if you play with IRL friends, which is great, you learn their playstiles, their favourite combinations and their tics, so you can factor that in too.
This one page is just as bad. Berserk quality art for the food, character art is extremely simplistic. Why?
What? People who don't like HxH usually don't like it because of battle shounen bullshit. Naruto's literally the same thing except worse.
I've only heard that from anons with no source, and I know CLAMP's made comments every so often about maybe continuing it, so I don't think I believe the legal problems thing.
What? Here HxH is usually liked by people that dislike the battle shounen genre and is hated by shounenbabbies.
I myself hate the genre, HxH is pretty much the only battle shounen I can read.
It wasn't damage control, you are talking out of your ass. Here people shit on Dragon Ball and YYH is considered mediocre. You are clearly a newfagsl and this your first HxH thread.
I wouldn't be surprised. No need for them to rush (specially togashi)
Nice projection you hypocrite faggot. I bet you weren't even here when people hated Togashi for his laziness, before all those newfags shilling for Togashi's half-assed work while ironically calling those complaining about the hiatus newfags.
What the fuck are you talking about? People, including myself, always shit on Togashi for his lazyness. I've been here for almost 7 years andif there's one thingI'venoticed, it's that after the anime people started spouting their shitty meme "he will never be back xDD", "HxH ended with the election arc" etc.
>draw a Hiei
>call it a Goku
I think the face is very similar to Toguro's when he gets serious.
Early Franklin reminds me of Toguro too.
Early Feitan looks so much better than his current design btw.
>usually liked by people that dislike the battle shounen genre
No, it's not. It's liked by people who've started to dislike the battle shounen they've read but still want a battle shounen. People who dislike battle shounen altogether don't usually bother with HxH, or fighting manga in general.
Did they ever release the instrumental version of Killua's character song? This one:
The version they used in the show is absolutely godly, but the vocal release is garbage in comparison.
What happened? Did he lose his direction? Does he not know where to go from here? I've been hearing about HiatusxHiatus always but had no idea it was this bad. I just want to read this when it's done.
It's been on hiatus more than half the time since it started, it's got nothing to do with not knowing where to go with it. Togashi has health and laziness issues combined with zero need for more money.
