There's no benefit in blocking the traffic at nyaa's end, because that doesn't stop the traffic from coming.

You can't squeeze a GB/s worth of traffic down a MB/s connection.

It doesn't matter what nyaa do on their side of their link, they can block it, print it out, respond with fake errors of increasing humerousity, whatever. There's still a fuck tonne of data that is bottlenecking their connection before it even gets to them.
