Monogatari is a really good show though. Either way its sales have been steadily declining with each subsequent season so I wouldn't exactly call it a rival. I've seen a lot of Japanese fans shitpost about Love Live in relation to it, however. Every time I look at Yaraon there's all these 'LOVE LIVE IS FINISHED' style comments.

Osomatsu is obviously not going to bypass its sales (67k for second season) but it would be cool if it at least bypassed Shingeki or Fate/Zero (52k). Not holding my breath, though.

I'd be just amazing if a studio like Pierrot grabbed amazing numbers like that. I don't know, I still think Osomatsu will be the major cash cowbou. Have no interest in Swords myself but going by trends (Pixiv rankings, hashtags, twitter followers, news in general) Osomatsu seems to be edging ahead of it.

I'd argue that Kara is worse. Rare good moments aside, he kind of seems like he wants to spoil his brothers rather than help them straightforwardly. He thinks too highly of them, which clouds judgement a little. Using your fuji example, going up the mountain certainly didn't bring them back to full health, and almost certainly didn't keep him healthy either.
Choro's probably a close third, since he tries to be responsible and actually tries to talk to his brothers about issues (see Oso and Choro spearheading the convo about Totty's outside life).
