What did /a/ enjoy/like/hate about Samurai Champloo?
I personally enjoyed Fuu upon the cross. And the whole "Dank" effects which followed.
It's even more interesting the 14th time around.
Shinichiro Watanabe is my based kantoku.
Never hated anything this man directed, so based.
I can agree with this to a certain extent. But I'm thinking that's simply how Watanabe wanted it to be. Just like with Bebop; yeah, You might say that there is a bit more progression with the characters, at least in comparison to Champloo, but it still wasn't enough that You felt like you got to know them.
why does fuu keep her puppies in the kennel? she never once, other than while in the onsen let them down.
Didn't really care for the ending but overall it was a really great show. If I had to complain more I guess it just didn't have much personal impact on me like some of Watanabe's other shows, outside of introducing me to Nujabes.
Watanabe needs to do another samurai show, I don't care if it's another season of Champloo or not, he just needs to animate more samurai battles because some of the animation in those last episodes was ORGASMIC GOD-TIER.
I thought it meandered around and was a little boring, but watching it now when I'm older made me realize that was the best part. I also love how Mugen and Jin were recklessly pursuing their own end which led them to be the greatest swordsman. Very Fujumotoesque philosophy I didn't pick up on before.
Her tits. She keeps them wrapped up the entire way. People say she's flat chested when she's really not. If she would untie that...whatever they call it that you seen in that picture she has wrapped around her bosom...then she would definitely be sporting a rather nice set.
I really enjoyed how her father introduced Christianity to that side of Japan and how the shogun was hunting him down to slaughter him. I had some really mixed feelings seeing him there basically dying and just waiting for that other samurai to finish him off. Mostly really sad.
Did you watch the stuff Watanabe directed for animatrix?
His shorts were brilliant.
Many people directed many different animatrix short films.
The ones by Watanabe, Morimoto, Mahiro Maeda and Takeshi Koike were masterpieces.
Fat Jon >Nujabes music wise
Prove me wrong faggots
>used to watch it when it was aired long time ago
>had to skip last episode because of real life
For the longest time I was under impression that everyone dies at the end and was really relieved to be wrong when I rewatched it later

Probably got pregnant and led an uneventful life while reminiscing about her adventures.
Jin probably started a small but well respected dojo and became a the local "wise old samurai".
Mugen kept on being Mugen.
>hating the best thing in samurai champloo
Really. I got over that by the end of episode 2. Now I loves me some J-funk so much.
Animation looked like shit 90% of the time and it dragged on into the 2nd act. Soundtrack is pretty godly though
he didn't do everything
