given the terrible things i've heard of negima, I refuse to go anywhere near it.
So far UQ isn't any less fun for it.
Its hard to understand some namedropping tough, but if you read between the lines and read it with /a/ you won't have an issue with that.
I avoided Negima like the plague too for the longest time, but then I was tired of waiting on a UQ Holder chapter and I powered through the first 100 chapters of Harem Shit. Was 150% worth it. One of my favorite battle shonen's now. Also it had me going from rolling my eyes at the stupid catch phrase at the beginning of the series to actually respecting Ken a lot more for the way he expounded on something so simple and silly.
Here's how you do it
>read first 10 chapters of Negima
>realize how long the manga is
>realize Negi never fucks
>realize Negi is a huge faggot
>start UQ Holder and watch the cuckfest as Touta destroys Negi's legacy by being a superior male
Hell yeah, Chao is fucking awesome the whole arc is the high point of the series really.
The tourney fight against Rakan mini-arc is a close second.
The only good part of Kyoto arc is Honya's first kiss.
When will Touta get his suicidal eternal timeloop? Ken still seems adamant on not forgetting that the deeper premise of the series deals with the pain and practicality of immortality.
First arc is pure harem with average art, it id ffor 4 volumes and the hardest part. Then there's the Kyoto arc which is action and the switches are more frequent. It becomes really good after this. The ending is rushed but there are some good arcs and fights.
>Mahorafest will never be animated
In some instances I agree, but that was a great arc that needs more love.
As long as they cut out Ako.
Hey he's four anyway. And you got that aging pill thing. No such thing as too old or too young in this series.
And brown imouto is too delicious too just be his rival, maybe make her into his Fate or something.
Eh. Not sure if they are suited for more serious series.
Yea but we haven't had any time chambers in UQ Holder yet, didn't Eva use to have her own personal one? I bet Dana would have one that would give Touta several years. Or he could train in a Kirie loop.
What do you think the finals will be?
Negi whips his dick out and just proceeds to fuck the Eva/Fate team. Touta then turns around and sees all of the girls in his harem and also Santa being NTR'd away by the one and only Jack Rakan The chapter ends with Touta trying to kill himself and being unable due to immortality.
The final page is just a picture of Akamatsu giving everyone the finger.
Negi/Nagi vs Eva/Fate. Eva's team loses and she gets kidnapped by them, with Fate barely surviving. Then the Touta suffering can start.
Why is Kirie the only one who knows how these things work. Touta would have conquered Eva already if he just did what Kirie told him.
The way I see it Touta won't get involved in the Negi plot and will focus on Imouto and the tourney itself.
Ooooo Yukihime Rescue arc where the Mage of the Beginning has to square off against a bunch of pissed off immortals? Touta going full mind of steel and abusing Kirie's power
and loveto win? Sign me up.
>Caring about Eva
People are mad about the implied NTR ends for all the girls since we have possible kids running around and them claiming Negi had none.
Im mad Ken is a fucking faggot and wrote Eva's familiar out of the story.
>>The way I see it Touta won't get involved in the Negi plot and will focus on Imouto and the tourney itself.
Akamatsu love doing throwback to Negima. We will probably see someone acting as Takamichi toward Touta.
Already out. I guess I'll dump it since nobody else has.
Only thing I hate about UQ holder is its god awful pace. Its been how many chapters since his sister/tournament was introduced?
Hell we are on chapter 109 and we still know jack shit about the plot and Touta's motivation of going into space is just kind of there.
Only Ako arc is somewhat stale.
Yue and Makie's arc is awesome, we got to see them being badass too. And Natsumi's arc is really fun.
You know what is hilarious? Ken wanted to do an action series for Negima but his editors wanted another Love Hina.
Ken literally said that now he's got freedom he's just going to follow his whims and fun with it. And I'm ok with it, you can tell he's getting a little tired of the business by the ever diminishing backgrounds in this series. Let him play around, once he pulls us back to the main arc I feel like we're in for a ride. Feel like he's building up the harem elements and now we're going to get an even more badass Jack tournament arc.
I'm curious about this. We know Karin considers herself to be cursed by God, but her encounter with the shadow pervert way back when suggested that her immortality was because God loved her.
>UQ is 3 years old and anons still fall for this bait
>Negima had the same problems with too much useless harem arcs
By chapter 110 of Negima do you know how many arcs we had?
We had Negi's backstory shown, we had antagonists shown up, we had Negi having significant growth from his own tournament arc, we had demons showing up and giving hints to the plot, we had Mars being foreshadowed and even introduced.
I don't mind the dick around character arcs, I actually like them. But god damn he can easily tie them into the main story. Have him and Karin be fighting off some idiots for the prelims. Have his sister show up, even if its just a few pages on her watching something irrelevant and it doesn't go somewhere with the plot at least give some sort of reminder that there is actually one.
It seems like she's mixing the roles of Judas and Mary Magdalene. I'd been wondering since the slums arc if she was; "beloved by god" and the big XIII on her back for being the 13th disciple both pointed to the latter. The Judas stuff is a new twist, though.
This fucking guy.
The twelve discipline?
>my Judas can't possibly be this cute
Is this worse or better than Saber?
I think it's because he became used to see her body. The first times he was embarrassed at seeing her naked. This plus he didn't know he loved her before the fear of NTR by Fate.
>The twelve discipline?
Well, since that's a big only 13 on her back there, the thirteenth disciple is a better call. Anyone who isn't familiar with Mary Magdalene should brush up on the basics: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Magdalene
Don't some cult said that Mary Magdalene is Jesus's wife or something? Not sure how that tie to her betraying Him though.
I don't know, Ako already have her spotlight during the Mahora tourney that might make me more biased.
Santa could have some brotalk with Touta, talking about Sayoko's last massage or something.
Plus it's been quite sometime since we last saw him being an ass, he's too meek recently.
This page said she's southern european though. Plus her name doesn't sound quite jewish to me.
That is probably what she went by when she was in Germany. She may really be Judas travelling the world looking after Jesus's garden, changing names as she goes so people don't get suspicious.
>Don't some cult said that Mary Magdalene is Jesus's wife or something?
The first few centuries of Christianity, there wasn't a big formalized church with a central leadership and an official list of what was canonical and was what apocrypha (what we'd call canon and fanfic). So there's a lot of conflicting versions of the gospels, beyond the four that made it into the Bible.
Magdalene's role varies in the different versions, but the main points line up with some of Karin's traits: she's the female 13th disciple of Jesus who had a very close relationship with him that was probably that of a man and a woman as well as a teacher and student. The new bits mentioned this chapter, the betrayal and hanging, are stolen from Judas who Karin seems to combine roles with.
Maybe Ken is just referencing Christian iconography for style points/to emphasize the goodness of her mentor without really intending to state that she's literally a biblical figure and she fucked over Jesus.
Seeing Christian iconography here and Saki really makes me happy.
Not Christian but bible stuff is cool!
Am I the only person glad that Negima ended with none of his students winning the Negibowl?
Their blatant paedophilia made me really dislike some of them and I was rooting for Anya or literally anyone else his age to win over them.
The equivalent of banging your widows twin sister when you're drunk. Eva only loved Touta, Ken destroyed NTR by retconning first love + adding amnesiac elements + adding Touta's husbando imprinting.
Literally the greatest purityfag writer of the 21st century.
>stripping Judas/Mary Magdalene for ecchi comedy
Is this considered blasphemous?
Because he's avoided making any definitive statements on the validity of any real world religions up to now rather deliberately, with the most he's done being referencing magic systems from them or including various demon races/mythological creatures from Shinto and such in Negima.
Having someone in the cast literally know Jesus and having been cursed by God for betraying him goes way beyond any of that and pretty much straight up establishes Christianity as "right", which seems extremely weird to me given his history.
He did end up falling for someone in his class by the end, though.
I like /ss/ in porn but in works where you're meant to take the cast seriously it's hard to like literal paedophiles who actively want to abuse a child.
I'm pretty sure that despite all logic Negi was stated somewhere to still be only like 11 at the end of Negima
If Mary Magdalene isn't a 2000 yr old virgin I'm dropping this.
Jesus having existed and exhibiting a divine connection is not the same thing as Jesus being the son of the true and only God who created everything while every other divinity recorded in legend is either a lie or a trick of the devil.
She's a former prostitute, isn't she?
It kind of is unless Ken wants to definitively confirm Christianity is full of shit, which is equally weird for the same reasons.
I just don't think he intended for people to literally interpret her story as biblical and was just making references like normal.
>She's a former prostitute, isn't she?
This is king Arthur.
Yeah but those are just on the same level as his Shinto, Buddhist, etc. references - they neither confirm nor deny the validity of the religion.
Nothing, but making him the son of God or not doing so both go farther than Ken ever has before as commentary on religion in-universe.
>It kind of is unless Ken wants to definitively confirm Christianity is full of shit, which is equally weird for the same reasons.
Eh. It's Ken treating Christianity the same way every other religion gets treated; mythology based on a nugget of real events that distort or omit a lot of the facts. It's just like how Hercules gets used by everyone without any endorsement of the primacy of Zeus or the validity of the Gaea & Uranus creation myth.
Absolute breeding material
The girl he likes has big boobs of course, so its seen as a positive.
The way Eva is loose with it though is no fun for him at the moment. Boobs aren't something that are just shown to you willy nilly, boobs are something you find, and have to work to get.
He likes Evas boobs, but it takes the fun out of it because of the way he's always seeing them at times, or she's willing to show him.
This kid, why is this kid so smooth. It's like whoever made him screwed up all the combat potential but made him the best lady killer possible. Mizore was right about how dangerous Touta was, why didn't we hear her?
One moment he's thanking god for this gift of immortality, and the next moment he's saying he'll fight him for this. Kid needs to get his story straight here.
Just stick with the first idea, think of immortality a gift, not a fuck up, and god did it for a reason which was good, so that now we can fight aliens and shit.
God wanted us to fight aliens, that's why he made them immortal, the logic checks out.
WHY CAN'T I QUIT YOU?
Touta thinks of it as a curse, but he is saying that since Karin thinks that God cursed her, then he will use his eternity to avenge Karin and settle the score for her since he loves her.
Regarding Karin, if you look up her full name revealed in chapter 20, イシュト・カリン・オーテ translates to Ishuto Karin Ōte or István-Karin Ohte depending on translator. Jason Iscariot is written as イスカリオテ のユダ.
When looking them both up in Google translate https://translate.google.com/?source=gtx_c#auto/en/%E3%82%A4%E3%82%B9%E3%82%AB%E3%83%AA%E3%82%AA%E3%83%86%20%E3%81%AE%E3%83%A6%E3%83%80%0A%0A%E3%82%A4%E3%82%B7%E3%83%A5%E3%83%88%E3%83%BB%E3%82%AB%E3%83%AA%E3%83%B3%E3%83%BB%E3%82%AA%E3%83%BC%E3%83%86 you can see that the way Karin's name is split up is very similar to how Isacriot was made in katakana.
Isukariote no Yuda
Mistakes into miracles, or whatever. She was right to be cursed perhaps, but that doesn't mean you can't make something of it and eventually find atonement, and that it was a bad thing in itself. Death ain't atonement, which is why she was cursed when she tried to take the easy way out.
You were given this gift/curse, so try to find the meaning in it, then do good with it, fight aliens ya buttmunch.
Its like when god cursed Cain with the Mark of Cain; which made him effectively immortal as no one could hurt him. However, he wandered the dessert and eventually established a colony, became mayor, helped people or whatever, he did something with it, and his blood-line was eventually forgiven. The curse wasn't just meant to punish, but it was also a symbol of love to say god was still watching, kind of like when god broke that guy's leg wrestling him once, I think it was Issac. Since he's giving you a chance to do some shit instead of just falling into the abyss and finding the easy way to suffer forever for no meaning. How about you get back in there, and stay there until you figure some shit out. He's not casting you out to death, he's forcing you to stay in the game until you do shit with it. An apostle ain't chosen haphazardly, even Judas; its gotta mean something.
Maybe god wants you to go into space and fuck Mars for being an asshole, all up there being a planet and shit, thinking its better than you.
Oh man, Eva sleeping with Touta tits a-blazin' takes on a whole new meaning now that we know she harbors romantic love for him.
She was seriously just laying it out there for him to bang mercilessly into the night, but she got nothing.
>Karin is now Mary Magdalene, Judas, AND Cain
It wasn't the Touta she remembered quite yet, and she knew that.
It wasn't the Touta who would bang her yet.
Its that reverse Hikaru Aging Plan talked about in Negima however; she was grooming him from an early age, to be the right kind of man who would be hers eventually.
Chances off edgelord Tota resurrecting after a timeloop of Fate NTRape?
Jesus is used to it, he had to take some abuse in the stories as well. He knows how to turn the other cheek.
However Karin probably won't be happy about him hurting the one she respected the most out of anyone, that she would try to kill herself for even betraying.
The entire setting is full of people who are arbitrarily powerful for arbitrary reasons, and especially full of people with magical powers. Take one charismatic Jew-mage during a time of social instabilities, have him lead a spiritual revolution, and bam, you've got Jesus. You can't exactly trust Karin's claims that her immortality is God's punishment. For all we know Jesus was the Mage of the Beginning and her immortality was just another one of his fucking around experiments or whatever--one kind of wonders why he ever bothered with any other kind of immortality, but maybe that's just his thing.
I think that actually makes a lot of sense.
Tota would just say something about how Jesus needs to be honest with Karin because she suffered so much for him,
Jesus would rub the back of his head and apologize for tricking her into crucifying him or something
Karin would blush after and thank Tota for finally giving her closure.
Now there's a depressing thought. But interesting.
Judas is best girl, as i always suspected
>and her immortality was just another one of his fucking around experiments
I don't think that would be the case. Didn't Eva say Karin's immortality was so strong that she and Touta would probably be the last ones around? Lifemaker wouldn't need to experiment on Eva if he already achieved that sort of immortality in Karin.
Don't take a goddamn thing that girl says with a grain of truth.
Immortal tsunderes have learned to deny their love without going full blushstutter.
What a world we live in. If we got Eva internal monologues they'd be dere as fuck.
The exact reason for the lifemaker's "experiments" hasn't exactly been made clear. He's already functionally immortal with the body hopping, but why does he prefer that over Eva's immortality? Maybe he's just kind of obsessed with it and wants to discover all forms and facets of immortality.
Maybe, as he was once the son of the god, the son of the creator of the legion variations of life, he wishes to surpass his father by creating an even greater variety of immortals?
If Karin is really Judas, and Negi-universe Jesus existed at the same time as we think he did in ours, then at this point we know for sure that Karin is older than Eva by something like 1000+ years.
She's the one who did something wrong though, just because she's upset about that doesn't reverse it.
Touta would just get Karin to apologize.
He didn't trick her, he literally said this shit would happen three times, and none of the apostles for some reason knew what he was talking about, even when he said it that very night when it was happening.
They're all breaking bread to eat dinner, and he's like "One of you will betray me, its you Judas, I know it already, I can see the future. I'm not exactly holding it against you, just go ahead and do it already" and Judas rushes off to go meet with the Pharasies, while the other Apostles wonder what he was talking about there, despite how it was very direct.
Then he goes off to pray on a mountain with the apostles, and he's like "I'm going to be betrayed tonight, try to stay awake", goes off to pray, comes back and they're asleep, wakes them up, goes off the pray again, finds them asleep again, wakes them up and saying "Man, its happening now, be awake for this part" as Judas rolls up with some Romans and pharisees.
Judas says to the crowd behind them "The one I kiss is Jesus, he's the one you want", so he goes up and kisses him on the cheek, and they arrest him.
Peter cuts off a roman guard's ear, but Jesus just picks up the ear and puts it back on the Roman healing him, being all "Don't be doing that shit Peter, we don't play with swords. I've been saying all night this shit would happen, don't be surprised when it happens, its just going to happen, I can see the future. Before this night is over you'll deny that you ever knew me three times before the morning crow caws".
Peter ends up denying he knew Jesus when random people asked that night, and when the crow cawed, Peter broke down realizing what Jesus meant there.
Its like these people were traveling with him for ages, and still didn't know who he really was, or what he had come here to do. No matter what miracles he pulls out, they're confused.
>She's the one who did something wrong though, just because she's upset about that doesn't reverse it.
Wait till we see her flashback. There are always some twists in these kind of stories. Which could explain why she became immortal because he thought she didn't deserve death.
So the 12 disciples were all idiots who never listened to a word her said, or Jesus was actually the beta loser of the group who wasn't really that important, and they just made him out as a martyr (and maybe, if he was lucky, suddenly realized they liked having his beta ass around after he was gone) after the fact to spur on their goal of becoming the founders and heads of a new religion.
Hmm, that's not exactly right though. The Lifemaker hops bodies and Jesus' resurrection is just him coming back to life. I think it'd make more sense for Jesus to be one of the Lifemaker's puppets similar the Averruncus cause I remember him reviving Fate before.
Girls can do no wrong. Karin will inevitably be in the right.
Jesus tricked Karin into becoming a traitor and Christianities scapegoat.
He takes this secret to the grave and allows Karin to believe she's scum, to the point of suicide.
God is like "fucking asshole son, making girls cry, don't kill yourself girl, you didn't do anything wrong, imma spank that lil shit later"
Touta forces Jesus to repent.
Judas did nothing wrong.
Man, I'm really enjoying UQ Holder, but I still think Ken did a horrible job retconning Tota into Kitty's past. I just hate the fact that he shoehorned in Tota being nice to Kitty, before Nagi saved her. He literally did what Nagi did, except because of time travel crap, he ended up doing it before. I just feel like Ken was too lazy to give Kitty and Tota more development together, so he just shoved him in the past and called it a day. That's my biggest issue with this manga so far.
Twelve Apostles were like Cromartie High, in the past.
They were fisherman, tax collectors, or the worst parts of society by most people's ideals, yet Jesus liked them. They were all strange types as well. Jesus would always have parties or feasts at tax collectors or odd people's houses, preaching to the "lesser types", and the pharasies were like "Look at this guy eating with the filth of society", and Jesus was like "Screw you for judging them and thinking them you're lessers, how about you try to help people instead of always lifting your head and being arrogant shit". Jesus was always getting into fights with the jews over stuff like that; and sometimes he would be amazed how some random gentile or roman would have greater faith than anyone among the people he was supposed to be sent here to help. The first one to even understand his words wasn't his aposltes, but some random gentile women, who wanted him to save her son, which he did, because she was the only one who understood his metaphors.
Jesus was no beta, guy had Charisma EX, wherever they went people always followed him and listened, even if they didn't understand shit.
Remember how Tota was not supposed to age? I keep thinking he's like 15-16 in recent chapters.
Fucking Eva bullshitting asspulls.
If he can regenerate at will he should be able to age himself up.
Why would he want her to suicide if he gave her immortality? She wanted to kill herself because she was mentally weak. She's seen with blood on her when she's hanging so he must have gave it to her when he saw her trying to do it as if to say "You must not die".
>speaks in convoluted metaphors
>in a time of rampant illiteracy and no public education
>Serious expects anyone at all to understand that shit.
Jesus was just a narcissistic smart kid who could never figure out how to actually socialize with people and so instead engaged in passive-aggressive insults by talking to them in ways they can't understand.
>Jesus: The original Jackass
Didn't Negima tell us he wanted the perfect type of immortality? I can't remember where, though, I only remember this page.
I assumed the Lifemaker never claimed Eva's body because she "killed" him before he could.
Nobody wanted her to suicide. She just did it and God wasn't having nonna that and didn't let her pass on.
At least not until she finds out that Jesus tricked her all along and she didn't actually do anything wrong, Jesus wanted to die and made her look like the badguy.
Thus allowing for him to become a martyr instead of a shitty 30yr old man with a cult.
Holy fuck, when will we get more Dana? She's the best thing to come out of UQ Holder, besides NTR-level Fate. She's a fantastic character.
And I don't think the Lifemaker has ever communicated his goals directly. Or communicated much of anything. All I think we've seen are a few "Hello" type remarks when he reveals whose body he's taken to the next group to oppose him.
Maybe there's even an issue of finding an immortality that will work *on him*. His "ceaslessness" may actively interfere with his ability to take advantage of the various forms of immortality he comes across. Maybe Karin was one of the first he made, seemingly the most perfect, but was also the most incompatible and unusable for him.
It doesn't help that in the beginning he set them up as a mother/son combo. I really thought he was going to keep that but then he brings out Touta loving Yukihime romantically out of his ass.
I'm fine with her falling in love with Tota, but I just feel like it was horridly, and sloppily done. It just feels like Ken ran out of ideas for their progression, and just ended up saying fuck it, and re-did the Nagi incident.
It was hinted at the end of Negima!, that a sequel with her and her lover would be done, but I still don't like how ken went about making them pseudo-romantic partners. And for some reason, I just can't see her and Tota getting together by the end of the manga; I see him going down the Karin route, for some reason.
>Betrays Jesus, son of God
>So sickened with her own taint she tries to die
>She is still loved, so cannot die
>She must continue to live on forever burdened by her betrayal, unable to ever forgive herself or see herself worthy of any love at all
>Yet there's God's love, available at will
>She just can't understand it. She hates herself. Knows she's unworthy. Cannot conceive of any reason for the love. Is therefore tortured by the incongruity.
>At least not until she finds out that Jesus tricked her all along and she didn't actually do anything wrong,
You're really reaching on this shit, trying to say her master was an asshole, and trying to curse him because you want Touta to beat him up. We know Karin was the one who did something wrong, but that's not so bad in itself, she was forced to live in some misery but she found some meaning because of that.
You're allowed to do something wrong in the past and develop from there, especially when it was thousands of years ago and we already have the currently developed "you" as we skipped all the steps in the middle.
Eva used to kill people all the time.
You're reaching hard saying a character can never do anything wrong, it wasn't retconned that Eva killed people all the time either, we saw it a few chapters ago.
Well, he was just now begging Karin to bump uglies with him.
Obviously he was just referring to working with him to save the world and the children. But how can you not want to ignore that and pretend he's trying to get laid?
Don't take it so seriously man, we all joking around.
Though I wouldn't put it past Ken, girls can't do bad things like betrayal. Killing, sure, as long as they're mindbroken or the dudes are mob fodder.
But cute harem girls don't betray people without a muh misunderstanding or muh trickory. Unless it's Sun-ken Rock.
One problem is that Karin doesn't display any powers related to the Lifemaker like Eva, Negi, Asuna, and Touta do. >>136360722
She didn't even recognize this shit on Touta.
The fact that she's still loved by him, still given power and immortality, because he doesn't want her to die, even after she betrayed him, is her greatest despair as she's crushed by her sin even now.
Even Karin admits that this is love
Yet people are reaching to cast him as a villain, just like in his life when they put him to death, as they said he was some demon or witch.
Just like they did with Joan of arc as well
>I see him going down the Karin route, for some reason.
Not happening anon. Don't let the harem flags fool you. Mizore warned them.
She might simply predate that sort of thing. Immortalities that reflect the Lifemaker may be something he started introducing after initial failures. To try to make the immortality more compatible with him.
>I'm fine with her falling in love with Tota, but I just feel like it was horridly, and sloppily done. It just feels like Ken ran out of ideas for their progression, and just ended up saying fuck it, and re-did the Nagi incident.
Ayy lmao m8 don't you mean Nagi redid the Touta incident?
>girls can't do bad things like betrayal.
Setsuna's rival in Negima was a traitor. She's the cyborg who fought Ikkuu right? One of Fate fangirls ended up helping Negi even though she didn't completely betray Fate.
>Touta is the ultimate harem MC
>Karin is Judas/Mary Magdalene
He's getting a full harem ending.
It'll be some kind of shared harem pyramid scheme with Touta and Eva at the top.
Free love and peace my nigga.
UQ Holder is Ken repenting for years of blueballing us.
To be fair, Eva's past has always, always been a complete mystery. What we knew about her and Nagi was minor, he saved her, she followed him and was in love, simple as that. Nagi never reciprocated her feelings anyway.
Kyoto arc is good and all, but hating Rakan is just beyond shit taste
I think she's looking for him to try a different tack.
She's done the nice guy and confessions and misunderstandings routes before. Now she wants the guy to read the sub-text, take charge, and put the spurs to her because that's what he wants.
But, really, she's been literally throwing her body at Touta this entire time waiting for him to man up and just *take* it for himself! I bet during the recent time stop her popped blouse buttton and tits blaring out was something she did intentionally because she sensed the time disruption's magic coming.
But even then Tota wouldn't just take what was offered to him.
Poor Eva, being in love with such a faggot when she wants him to take charge and just straight-up claim her.
Will Ken forever keep Negi as a pure maiden who isn't interested in filthy women?
>Touta travels back in time.
>Just before Nagi meets Eva.
>Touta tells Nagi that in the long run she's actually a pretty nice person and he should be kind to her and treat her like a person.
>Nagi was totally going to be an ass and treat her like a monster, otherwise.
You know it's coming.
You'd be dumb for not realizing that Ken will have Negi deus ex Yamada'd to defang him if he ever comes back.
It'd be ridiculous to be a monogamous immortal.
A immortal character is probably the only way to comfortably have a harem end, since all girls can get essentially get eternal affection without feeling cheated by their lifespans.
I really like that Ken is sticking with the immortal concept instead of doing the cut and paste "Lol he's immortal but the entire series takes place in 1 month"
The passage of time in manga as a whole is so under utilized.
you can already see Shinobu grew up a bit if your look closely too and that's really cool.
>Eva, Kuroumaru, Karin, Kirie, mizore, Shinobu and other girls to come.
No matter how I think about it it's just disgusting. Touta/Eva/Karin I can imagine it or I can imagine Kirie/Kuroumaru/Touta without Eva which is impossible but all of them and it becomes disgusting.
I'm still placing my bet on Judas did nothing wrong.
I'd say it's 20-70 spread against me though. I really just wanna see Touta punch god and talk no jutsu lecture him for being vague when he cursed Karin.
He can fuck Shinobu and Mizore in a bigamy until they die. The rest can wait for that.
Harem doesn't mean they're all sleeping in a naked pile. With introduction of time-pause mechanics and spirit time room shit, he can have separate, contained, romances for multiple women, throughout multiple generations.
Immortals come from many different places, and adhear to many different religions.
You could just as easily have an immortal that has a Japanese connection, or otherwise
"All mythology is kind of real" is a typical theme in anime. So yeah you obviously have a character that represents christian ideals, and other vampires.
Vlad Tepes was a Christian, he was the origin of vampires, think about it.
That reminds me of the ending to Hana no Akuma, where the demon guy marries his tale of genji loli and she dies of old age while he still looks 25.
Their kids are in their 60s yet look 18 and the time caught up to modern era, you find out they've just been going around transferring to different highschools pretending to be teenagers for 50 years.
She's just saying generally speaking they don't like romance.
Eva was really just projecting though, it's completely obvious she's still just a child inside, Touta knew this making his proposal.
The thing she says about human girls barely makes sense too.
Immortals would be less likely to do that shit, unless they're pragmatic sociopaths that hinge their relationships on how long their partner will live before they can be rid of them.
I know but it's still hard for me to imagine that. The group just doesn't mash well together for that. As I said I can imagine some smaller groups but not all of them. I read Mushoku Tensei for example where ti's done pretty well, but there are only three girls and they have a good dynamic to begin with. All the other girls have been rejected and moved on.
Negi undress girl by accident.
Little fucker (Touta) deliberately undress girl to shut her up.
I wonder when he will develop space magic to transfer his sperm directly to girl's womb. That way he can be true Sex God.
I know, I know, I mean the message that the problem with Karin is that she can't accept God's Grace is a very Christian one, so I am surprised that Ken went with that angle... maybe.
Mushoku Tensei was fine except for the whole "If you stick your dick in it you marry it"
Not casually dicking his maid or sisters was annoying. Shit happens irl all the time. Fuck his dad even did it.
Not having any beasties either sucked, not even fucking the one Eris tied to a bed was annoying.
Yeah because that would mean there's one less girl for Touta. Harem protags not getting everyone is basically rape.
>Mushoku Tensei was fine except for the whole "If you stick your dick in it you marry it"
Paul fucked a lot of girls though and he only married one among them other than his first wife, even Elinalize, who was worse than him.
Yeah and Shinobu is in puberty so it stacks up.
But it also sets a precedent for casual timeskipping/advancement, which I like. Hopefully it'll happen often.
LoveHina was stuck in the Post-Highschool Limbo Nebula wasn't it?
Yeah I meant that about Rudi, I guess I didn't make it clear. Don't like Rudi goin full purity. Starts off as a masturbatory self-insert for fat losers, he loses that part of him via CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT but still.
she's literally cumming
You can write it so it doesn't have negative effects.
>dicking your sister
>a wrong choice
what has /a/ become?
also fucking the aforementioned beastie with Eris seemed like a win-win with zero negatives.
I think he means not taking responsibility for dicking your sister is the wrong choice.
But who cares, we all know that Touta won't do that since his only sister hates him and thus he won't have a chance to get her route. The only incest in his future is the impossible Chao route.
It was good because it came with his sense of responsibility increasing each time. Also because he was lucky to have Sylphy as first wife, who had a big inferiority complex and the nicest, she had already envisaged that he would break his promise despite their marriage. Didn't like how Roxy managed to marry him but she has always been a slut. Eris would have destroyed him.
It's weird the oldest member of UQ Holder is the one with the absolute weakest immortality out there. All he can do is not age and heal just a little bit faster. He ate mermaid flesh. And he's super fucking old and still alive for some reason. And strong as Hell.
Of all the people in this manga, I want to know more about Jinbei.
It isn't,its just a textbook example of bad translation-so bad it should be shown in school.
These are what was originally written. The first is without death, and the second is without annihliation. A better translation would be indestructible or invincible.
He was never interested in Aisha's though. Only her boobs, it was one-sided. There's the multiple possibility but ti's what could have happened because of his pervert nature. He had a bit of interest for the two beast girls but did say that he prefers them as friends.
If by direct sequel you mean set decades later with mostly different characters.
>Eva never loved Negi
More like Negi never gave a shit about Eva.
And she sure as hell wanted to fuck his brains out, it's even on the chart, she literally has the highest lust out of everyone
This is pathetic man, Negi literally never showed interest in Evangeline. Like at all.
You're trying to make as if Negimafags are salty about something relating to Eva when she was the only one interested in him and not the other way around
It just shows you how much does she "love" Touta, to the point of wanting to fuck both Nagi and Negi.
I said Nagi, but anons can still feel the NTR without the MC's interest or anything.
>This is pathetic man, Negi literally never showed interest in Evangeline. Like at all.
So did you read it or what.
>That's not what I meant
He also "confesses" directly to Eva, I think, although I think it's another misunderstanding and he quickly points out that his love isn't romantic.
Still more than "no interest at all"
>all these Nagi vs Negi vs Tota retards flinging shit at who will win Eva
We all know Fate fucks her nightly, just to piss of Tota. He's literally the embodiment of a Korean NTR villain.
We weren't talking about "compared to" though but possibilities
The boobs was just the last entry in a list of reasons he loves her. The entire arc of the conversation is that he wants her to save the world with him, and trying to convince her to do it.
This page still makes me die of laughter
No, Nagi. I do know that she loves Touta but I meant Nagi in this case.
Hahaha I never caught that. That just makes it beyond perfect.
I know Touta really isn't the character for angst but I really like the times when he's not super happy. They stand out nicely.
If you can't see that Ken was teasing it, even if it wasn't going to happen then you're the one who's blind anon. I'm not even claiming she would have/did/could have won, just that Ken was teasing her fans for reactions.
The girls themselves were teasing Eva. At that point they know she's a domineering, immortal, super-powerful person. So what young girl could resist such an opening? To take down the undefeatable girl with gossip?
Too busy coordinating orcs to fuck elves en masse
Am I the only one who wants to see more shit on Fate and Kitty's history between Negima and UQ? They both seem to be extremely Tsundere when it comes to working together. Also, how the fuck did Fate manage to catch up to Kitty's powerlevel? The fucker was seen literally running away from her in Negima, and now he's ballsy enough to take her and UQ on at the same time.
>WHY WON'T YOU PUNISH ME FOR BETRAYING YOU REEEEEEEEEE
So Karin is UNRIVALED?
I'm not sure how I'm going to confess to a priest that I fapped to Judas.
Is it just me or is Touta starting to turn into a immortal version of Kamijou Touma?
Between his ability to nullify his opponent's abilities, forming a harem of magical and science-based ability users, his main rival being the white-haired guy who is arguably the strongest character in the entire series, and his desire to punch out a deity, it's really starting to look that way to me.
>tfw no UQ Holder doujin except a badly drawn/written Eva one and a fucking disturbing Kirie one
Touta would never make a face like this.
Eva would never be able to femdom him.
Sure, she acts all Ara~ Ara~ but she's a child inside.
Touta would keep a refreshing smile throughout.
Touta would smooth talk her until she got violent, if Touta can disable her momentarily, he can deal the final blows with some "I need you"s and Eva would submit to him.
There roles would reverse and Eva would act like an embarrassed cake as they go at it like animals for 3-9 months. Because immortality.
Last part isn't really true since Touma doesn't really give much of a ahit about Accelerator, and Accelerator has long since been kicked out of the most powerful character list
He's conquered every girl now right? All that's left is Eva (or Mizore), then the toury arc begins.
Ofc if the next arc is an Eva arc, right as Eva confesses Fates gonna swoop in or something and ramp up the plot, like making her 700 hundred year old moldy hymen the tournament's prize.
Who says she was willing? When a group of 13 guys pick a communal cum dump and decide to brand her with the mark thereof, what say has she in the matter?
>Karin's a massive sub and got off to that
>Revelation 19:16 includes this description of Jesus: “On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords.”
Jesus had a tattoo. The point of which was that he was #1.
13 = 12th disciple confirmed.
