Now that you mention it, I was marathoning Haikyuu yesterday and the season 1 ep where Asahi comes back and calls for Suga to toss to him in their practice match after Noya make that save? Full spinal-shivers.
That scene in the basement with his wife
That's when you stopped being a hero to me.
This whole episode was so intense when I first saw it. Easily one of the greatest shounen episodes ever made, and there wasn't even any fights.
Bash me if you will but it gave me the betus.
Fuck you Beta Priest.
You missed the whole fucking point that the vampires moved into new villages after they were done with others.
So they will move to another thread to satisfy they needs, humans were just food, there was no such thing as coexistence.
There was no white and black but several shades of gray.
This. Shit. Right. Here.
It was this very moment where I felt joy, sadness, and goddamn pride for one of the coolest motherfuckers in the galaxy. He did the impossible. He, a guy who had no connection to the spiral at all, tapped into it and saved the day. I never felt that much energy from an anime scene in my entire life.
Ma bigga. Kittan was the best character, because he tried so hard and was overshadowed by simona and kamina, and finally in the end he was able to bring out his power. I cried more at his death than kaminas, because I saw him go so far in the shadow of others, only to die when he finally reached his desires.
Erza vs 100
I know in the manga it's apparently little more than a footnote, but I love what they did with this in the anime.
It's not sad but it makes me want to cry.
niga you just burned your luck
pic related for muh scene
This is what is known as a super saiyan that has ascended past a super saiyan
Ho hum. What a useless transformation. You've changed your hair, so what?
Yeah, that part was pretty good. Iwas actually right about to reply to this thread with the entire last arc of that show. Shit was intense, especially
Tanabe and Claire on the Moon. That bit in particular had me shaking for weeks.
Is the manga worth reading as well? I googled around for reviews but most testimonies were mixed.
I could have done with a happier ending to the anime, personally. The thought of her being alone for all that time just made me feel really sad.
Now this is how you make an amazing first episode.
Yuma vs Astral
It was a lot like Yugi vs Atem.......possibly even better.
Yeah you know, you are right they could have lived together. it's just one thing though. the vampires were TOO FUCKING GREEDY. They had to get every last drop from people.
It's so simple, rather than drinking from one person for 4 days, they could just drink from a different person everyday. They'd need to keep a certain ratio of humans to vampires so there's no overlap.
The trouble with your point of view is that it's entirely dependent on the vampires to do so, but they got greedy. They wanted the whole town to themselves and they got exactly what they deserved, except that faggot kid and the priest
How has no one posted this yet?
For me this scene in particular gave me the chills.
>could've had an abominable corpse that wants to kill him and drink his blood
Nice try, vampire apologist asswipe. They all got what they deserved.
This scene cause at the time, I thought Rock was a bottom bitch boy but he put Revy in her place.
Ok so people take Shiki seriously on /a/?
I watched it without realizing it's gotten any attention at all and thought it was hilarious due to it's unfitting artstyle and shit characters
I was pretty much laughing through the entire vampire holocaust becuase of how ridiculous some deaths were (see pink haired girl)
you miss the point of humanity being fundamentally different then every other animal species. take for example gazelles living in the savannah, in order to survive from predators all a gazelle has to do is be faster then the slowest/oldest gazelles in the group so that the lion does not catch it. Now imagine a group of gazelles with basic human intelligence. Instead of constantly living their lives in fear what the gazelles should do is gather the biggest and strongest gazelles with the biggest horns and surround the weaker/female gazelles in the group and simply move around that way, when the lion comes instead of fleeing the strongest gazelles simply try to gore the lion with their horns, some of them may die or be injured but its fine as long as they gore the lion. After being gored the lion will go back to its abode and instead of being satisfied with that the gazelles will follow the lion home, and attack it while it is injured and then stomp its cubs to death, the loss of life of the gazelles is acceptable as long as the predator and its young are removed. It is an incredibly foolish point of view for humans to simply accept that a predator that they can deal with is just an acceptable sacrafice of life. That's the whole point of the shiki hunt at the end of the series.
Listen m8, if we can send rockets to the moon, we can find a way to live in peace with the shiki
His face after the fight genuinely frightens me.
I can't think of any other scene that has a more fitting song during it than System0 during this scene.
It was so intense and shocking, still probably one of my favorite parts in the VN.
This scene just always makes me feel... unsettled? It is hard to describe. It just feels strange, gives me goosebumps. The direction in End of Evangelion was good.
Planet Buster Roar Cannon looked so fucking gorgeous animated. The only thing that bothers me it how it looked like it froze mid-air when fired, or as if it was just drilling the air instead of gradually coming at Saitama. Definitely had more tension compared to the manga though.
Just finished Shingeki no Bahamut, this scene gave me the chills. Was such a good show
Asuka vs EVA prototypes

THIS THIS THIS HOLY SHIT, everything in that episode was perfect, the majority of the animation budget went to it, the voice acting was God-tier and
the original Getter teamdeath was glorious. Too bad /a/ taste is too pleb to even know about Getter Saga, well, at least it gets the recognition it deserves on /m/.
I feel bad for those who didn't watch viewster all the way through since they were the only ones who exported the videos in 16:9, so the twist in the last episode came from nowhere. All other releases were 4:3 with the exception of the finale that they had to export in 16:9
Sure they could, but i prefer my why because it's literally no risk for the vampires, it'd be so much easier. Blood bank would require the reveal of the existence of vampires, and that carries risks to the vampires. It's their choice to reveal themselves or not, and they might rule out the blood bank idea purely because it's a risk. My idea is no risk, meaning there is absolutely no reason why they shouldn't do it.
I still watch this every once in a while when I need to feel something
Man, everyone just goes on and on and on about how EVA is 2deep4u and shit and they seem to forget that just the visuals alone elevate NGE and EoE above everyone else.
The amount of scenes you can just screencap and hang on a wall is higher than any other show out there.
HOLY SHIT YES
People keep talking about the end of the Ep2, but this scene was so much better.
One of the best moments ever, it was gorgeously thrilling, and the music at the end of the episode (System0/DeadAngle/BringTheFate) is top-notch.
I loved Umineko, but it was really the first part of it that made me quiver of excitement
The show as a whole wasn't too much special but damn I loved this scene.
Goku going SS and telling Frieza he's gonna make him suffer.
In Trigun with Vash going almost berserk after seeing the people killed by Monev the Gale.
>"He has the eyes of the Diablo!"
AoT when Mikasa is saved by the mysterious "rogue titan" as she almost gives up. Including the next episode when the titan kills the others, helping the trainees survive the mess at the supply depot
If you didn't cry you are an unfeeling monster.
Nice subtle rec thread OP.
Shitty gif related.
I know the feeling, its weird but theres something about that scene that makes you feel a bit hopeless, the worlds ending and all we can do is sit back and watch the amazing visuals and listen to Komm Susser Todd.
The whole episode.
And killing entire villages where only 1/4 rez is going to go down well? They started a war they couldn't win quietly enough. Instead of propositioning willing people they killed them.
