What happened to Jack?
Are the Vinsmoke royalty?
Why would the World Government put him out as Alive Only otherwise? They wouldn't do that for big mam.
Where is Jack? Why don't people give him the hype he deserves? JackxZoro will be amazing.
Nobody cares about Jack, it's Mr. Prince time now and forever for the rest of the year god bless aaaamen.
Jack saved Doffy and is looking for Kaido.
the Kidd alliance will join Kaido's fleet and target Shanks.
All of this will happen after the Big Mom saga, Big Mom may be an ally to the Strawhats in the future after she is defeated.
Screencap this post.
Jack looks oddly like the Shandian in the bottom right corner of this panel
>mfw Jack and the other 2 calamities and Kaido has to fight Sengoku, Fuji snd Tsuru to get the keys to Doffy's handcuffs
Vinsmokes are royalty and Big Mom promised to work together with WG to take Teach down if Sanji marries Purin.
It'd be cool if we got a scene with Sanji legit contemplating the idea because he knows Teach was involved with Ace's and Whitebeard's death. Then he gets a call from the future Pirate King who says
>Fuck it, Sanji. I'll be the one who'll kick Blackbeard's ass. Come back to your crew
>Roger that, Captain
Did anyone else get some major feels when Senor Pinks past was explained with his wife Russian?
Yeah Pink's backstory was legit realistically tragic
Any one else find this interview with Eiichiro Oda depressing? Particularly the part where he says manga is just a way to pass the time... I wonder what he'd have to say about SJ/Manga as a whole a decade ago, or two decades ago when he was first getting started.
The pacing is shit since years. Looks like he (or SJW forcing him) drags the story as long as possible for more profit.
Which is funny because he wanted to finish One Piece long time ago.
Can't put my finger on exactly why but I fucking love Ivankov. I wish we see him in a major role for another arc, but that's not likely.
or maybe a little longer than that considering you're on /a/
When oh when will someone wipe that damn smile off his face?
Vinsmokes are going to be another mafia-like family.
More actual royalty would be too predictable.
The Vinsmokes probably manage a part of the WG's control of the black markets.
>>Why don't people give him the hype he deserves?
But we do. I actually don't think Luffy is ready to fight him much less Zoro. We can be sure he's an awakened zoan and his mammoth DF probably makes him a much bigger tank than Doffy not to mention he's probably physically strong as a motherfucker. So yea I'm hype as shit for Jack
>Jack saved Doffy
No he didn't
I wouldn't be surprised if Jack is stronger than Marco, probably even stronger than Fujitora, the Disasters are basically the ones that are ruling over Kaido's empire since i doubt Kaido himself has that much interest in it and unlike WB who was looking for a family i'm sure Kaido is looking for strength more than aything in his subordinates.
Jack probably isn't even the strongest disaster, hoing we'll see a Smilodon one.
>Any one else find this interview with Eiichiro Oda depressing? Particularly the part where he says manga is just a way to pass the time
Have you ever read an interview with Oda before?
He literally says this shit all the time. "It's just a way to pass the time" "I make my work only for little boys to enjoy, if other people like it too, cool whatever" "I draw whatever I want and fuck anybody who cares otherwise"
>Looks like he (or SJW forcing him)
Are you retarded?
You're an idiot. Clearly you've never read an Oda interview before
Aren't Headphones and Cowboy hat Underworld Brokers are both lighthaired?
Maybe they recognized him from Punk Hazard rather than his bounty poster?
Could be his two older brothers.
>this wasn't a secret
Did I ever say it was?
I'm trying to say Oda takes a very casual and easy-going approach to his manga despite its popularity and him only having it on the brain.
I'm not gonna say it went to complete shit, but the last arc was a let down to me and I expected better from Oda in the case of deliverance.
However, that being said, things are really starting to look better ever since the arc ended. My only complaint so far is that Oda's been taking a lot of breaks now. I hope he doesn't make it a bad habit.
The little boys is from his Strong World interviews. The "i draw whatever I want" thing isn't really a direct quote but I was referring to the many times he says he gets complaints about how he draws females and his responses are always "deal with it". This was literally in Vol. 79s SBS recently
I know the anime is generally considered shit but I had really high hopes for it after Franky's fight against Senor Pink, that was really really well made but then it continued being shit wtf.
Gear 4th doesn't look as powerful as it should in the anime, they are not making it look as fast and overwhelming as it should, the first kong gun looked as if Doflamingo was able to contain the hit for a moment when in the manga he got punched hard and fast.
>So that's why One Pice is shit and is on a downhill since Timeskip
But this is objectively wrong. PH is better than FI. Dressrosa is far better than PH. Zou looks extremely promising so far. Sorry but I only see it going straight up hill.
Sanji's two older brothers?
Family living on Luffy's home island alongside other noble families that controls the Underworld for the WG?
Bellamy could have a connection to Sanji. They both mention they were from North Blue in the same chapter, and Bellamy later reveals that his hometown was prosperous. The Vinsmoke family could have been from Notice. They never met each other in the story so far, so there's no knowing if one would recognize the other. It seems unlikely, but it's an interesting thought.
Sanji being a lower noble would put him in a decent position to run away on a cruise ship in the West blue, probably toss in some parental drama where his mom helps him escape the control of his father and brothers.
They also could identify him during Punk Hazard, and have connections with the WG to request a live bounty.
The sad part is that you know all of their budget went into Gear 4th, so that's pretty much the best they could drudge out apparently.
The rest of the anime is gonna look like something from Homestuck.
Also, I really did not like that fillerish scene wherein Luffy's Culverin attack went on way longer than it should have.
She's referenced in Dofla's imagine-spot of the Supernova. She may not still be a captain, I'm not sure on this point, but she's still an active force in and of herself in some way.
Killer is his brother
>Killer = "Man in the Iron Mask". MITIM was a French prisoner thought to be the lost brother of the King.
>Mask is based on Daft Punk, a French band
>Both grew goatee over the time skip
>Similar to Zoro, who he has a rivalry with
Have you just started reading anything Japanese? Japan loves using English words, and Bellamy already uses "Spring" in his attack names (Spring Hopper, Spring Deathknock, etc)
>Looks like he (or SJW forcing him)
Possible, but biggest flaw in that theory is that he's from South Blue, the complete opposite side of the Redline where Sanji is from.
It wouldn't be weird if Vinsmoke was a grander house. Sending sons away to get married, or raising them in different places around the world isn't abnormal. Especially if they don't have the same mother...
Sanji became a lady lover because she got all the love of his mother as the youngest kid, and killer became a killer because his mother was a cunt. Calling it.
I think that Sanji's story will last a little longer than that, especially if his arc is fragmented between what the SH do and what he's up to.
And especially, again, if the whole Big Mom arc is going to be related to his, which is what it looks like.
Why do we speculate so much that a hyped up character will be someone from the past returning? We've had threads where people thought Jack would be Morgan for fuck's sake.
When has it ever happened that some new character was hyped up but then turned out to be someone we know? Lucci being CP0 is the only time I can recall right now, but I think there are more.
>No he didn't
You seriously believe the papers, and how often people are going 'well it's a good thing Jack is dead and Doffy's still in Marine custody so none of these consequences happen'? Why would Oda create a villain, have him be present in the story, and then kill him off-screen and have him fail in the biggest thing to escalate this battle?
>tfw jack fucks up the rescue and dies so youre going to jail anyway
Sabo is Oda's biggest asspull.
Oh look Ace is dead, now draw a new brother for Luffy. Then he drew the backstory from out of nowhere, and foumd amnesia as an excuse why he didn't make contact with his brothers during the entire time.
Holy fucking shit you fucing retards are annoying. Sabo is NOT A FUCKING ASSPULL. The amnesia thing may be convenient writing but it is nothing that goes against in-universe rulese or comes out of nowhere.
Ace' introduction filled a specific void from Luffy's childhood that we had no information about previously to that. Sabo was then later on supposed to fit into that same void, even though that void was filled with something already.
That Sabo is Luffy's brother is not a problem, but rather that he is yet another brother.
Ceaser is essentially a member of the extended crew already, or the fleet if you will. His title right now is basically Chopper's bitch and I feel like it's meant to be a step towards redemption for him. You can say he's being held hostage, but I think his intellect (He's a scientist, his old allies are beat) and natural curiosity will keep him around. He's probably a full on ally at some point, like almost everyone Luffy beats up. Being a numbered chapter crew member is clearly never in his future though.
>out of budget
You know that's not how it works right? Sometimes I assume people on /a/ know things about anime, but you know what happens when you assume. You remind me of someone from a DBS thread I've had a similar discussion with before.
>I wish we see him in a major role for another arc, but that's not likely.
DUDE we're gonna have a revolutionary arc, there's a 100% chance that Ivankov will have a major role then.
law is a faggot fuccboi
thats fine, and yes the whole series is full of great and interesting designs, but i am still tired of big gigga niggas - especially because we just had those three thrown into our face at the same time
So what's the most popular theory here? Vinsmoke as a noble family or as a mafia/piratey one?
Maybe they're a family known for its cooks, which would explain Big Mom wanting to marry her daughter into that.
I think your reading speed needs some noro noro beams
Different episodes and different scenes within an episode even are all animated by different people. Then the animation director will look at it and this person changes every episode too. Toei is a big company. So your base talent changes all the time, and then the talent that's reviewing the base talent's work is changing too. Obviously skill varies and not all the cuts or all the episodes can be animated or directed by only the most skilled.
The amount of budget that goes into an episode changes too as different teams will include different people who have been with companies for longer and thus earned more pay or negotiated their own pay as part of a freelance job but there is never a case of "running out of budget." Okay, rarely a case. There's just a long schedule, where everyone gets paid, but talent varies greatly. It might seem logical to save your best talent for only the coolest episodes, but in my years of selling my soul to Toei it seems more like they just try to spread it out evenly so the workload is fair probably. It's really hit or miss but lines up nicely sometimes. Luffy's gear 4 transformation looked pretty sweet I think. Toei will never run out of money, anon. Don't worry about that. They're the biggest name in the business and they know how to make money and anime.
anyone got some Nami pics/gifs/webms from the new Adventure of Nebulandia ??
id really appreciate it
Hey, no prob anon. I like talking about anime. Personally, I just can't get into the OP anime because the adaptation just isn't great and it upsets me. OP is a great manga and it deserves better treatment. Oda sold his soul to the anime devil.
While I agree I really can't imagine it being any other way if they want to keep the "one episode a week" schedule, which in turns is kinda necessary if you wish to hope to ever see this series finished. Even if we ignore Oda taking his time, imagine how long it would take to animate all of One Piece so far, all of the 812 chapters, and with good animation?
Well, tbqh I don't think he really cares that much about it.
But yeah, it's a shame. I used to hate OP because the only thing I had seen was the anime (and it was actually the first arcs, so it wasn't bad at all, but...).
It's not even that. I don't mind the quality so much as the pacing and the amount of time spent recapping, after the recap even, which is after the long ass opening, which is admittedly actually animated nicely and sounds cool, but still. I believe the should go back to making lots of filler so they can do a better adaptation when they have more to work with. That detective Luffy arc was legitimately entertaining. It's not that it's not a faithful adaptation; they're pretty good about that, even directly copying lots of panels. It's that they obviously care more about making a series to air every week to drive business, than about making an anime that's really good.
my only dislike for G4 is Toei made it weaker than it should be
yeah I know its hard to animate a 2 pages fight (inb4 autists outrage it was 2+x pages), but that almost endless culverin wasn't good
Yeah, the pacing is way, way worse than the animation. Especially the "everybody reacts to what just happens" faces that drag on for two minutes all the time. I know Oda does it in the manga, but there you spend less time looking at those faces, you just kinda gush over them, really.
Speaking of filler, back then in the East Blue there was one with Usopp having a sniper battle with someone who (I think?) knows his father, and I read on here that was supposed to be in the manga, but Oda cut it because he wanted to have reverse mountain in chapter 100. Is that true? I haven't seen it in years, but I remember it being good.
>"everybody reacts to what just happens"
Jesus. I mean, granted, Oda draws some great reaction panels himself, but turning these panels into 5 and 6 seconds still panning shots? Just fucking shoot me. Sorry, I don't know about your question.
Yes, that's true, sorry. It just sounded funny to me in my head and I went with it. Honestly I like the company. They've made lots of things I like. It's just really fun to overreact about their shortcomings sometimes. WSJ made a good business decisions there.
yeah it's true, but it's unclear how oda wanted to handle it, also they had different designs.
Thanks again! Yeah, I remember him as being older than on that picture.
Also, I like how the wiki sums up the novel as "Nami has a bubble bath in it.", as if that was the most important plotpoint.
Same here. I've always liked the design because he really has some crazy ass potential. It's probably easier to list ways he can't kill you than ways he can. But he was never utilized well in the manga until now. I love it.
It's odd that the family chose to go through the yonkou to get to Sanji, rather than use the Marines, which you would think would be any noble's first contact in situations like that. I'm betting on an affiliation with the revolution myself. I think it's high time we learned a bit more about that.
Maybe Big Mom just knows his identity and no one is trying to get to him through her? That's what I got from the arranged marriage deal, she knows who Sanji is and what's him to marry on of her daughters to give her leverage.
But the yonkou aren't like the shichibukai. They're still fuck-your-shit-up pirates, not government bitch boys. The WG leaves them be, because A) they help keep the area under control, and B) they would have to spend a great deal of resources to fight them. To work through them implies not only a great level of power or influence, but also a certain level of comfort with the world outside the World Government. I have trouble seeing a member of the World Goverment's noble class approaching the crew of a yonkou for any reason.
>Because he was weak and defying big mam.
>He literally said the reason in the chapter
Yes, but unless he has big Mams favor he going to get in trouble for shooting one of her children
>To show off his awesome hand-cannon powers.
I'm more interested in how his powers wor. Did hid mean have to run in his arm?
Can they hear his thoughts?
When he's small how dies he eat?
I don't really know lel, it could be because of that.
But I believe that not because of Weeble, but because surnames always come first in OP as far as I remember (Monkey D. Luffy, as opposed to Luffy Monkey D).
>I'm more interested in how his powers work.
I guess he just sorta teleports stuff around. Would be fun though to imagine a soldier living in his hand.
If I was one of Bege's men I'd walk up to him and tell him
I pooped inside you.
He's not Whitebeard's son because a) WB always said he wanted an actual family so this would be pretty weird and b) The Oda-box for him and the mother literally says "self-proclaimed" which is a pretty obvious line that they're lying
Also, c) Isn't it pretty obvious her goal is that she thinks WB has treasure or some kind of material inheritance when WB was never about treasure? I mean this is basic writing here.
What does his main body do when his little body is inside the castle? Just stare blankly at whatever's in front of him or can he focus and act in the real world as well as inside the castle? Maybe there's a little him running around inside the castle giving orders like a little general, while the body is just being piloted like a ship by a helmsman up in the brain area. It's actually very interesting and making me anxious for more and more chapters.
>but he seems to actively avoid doing so. It took him a long while (until the Jaya arc) to even mention that he is from North Blue.
>Sanji you're from the north blue?
>Oh did I never tell you guys that?
Oh yeah, he actively hid it from them.
in the flashback where we saw whitebeard as young man, he was called newgate by his mates. Oda only used western style names recently if i'm not forgetting someone (Funk Brothers, possibly Caesar).
Still don't think he's his son because of what >>136338451 said
Tbqh, I think that was him just hyping himself up to impose fear to his enemy.
But it might very well be something related to his family, yeah, and it would be very exciting to me as the Sanjifag I am.
Yeah, "Castle Castle" is very interesting. Has the potential to be pretty OP like Law's fruit and other paramecia's.
Does his body "crumble" like a castle? If so, can it be put back together?
Is his body hard like a castle too?
Does he have some kind of control over all people who enter his body?
How do people even enter inside him? (Lewd)
>Tbqh, I think that was him just hyping himself up to impose fear to his enemy.
Doesn't seem like Oda's style.
Well, on ships it is common to refer to your mates by family name, especially when you don't know each other very well - which seemed to be the case in that scene, seeing how the one guy was surprised by Whitebeard not wanting a piece of their treasure. One can also assume it was the first treasure they found.
Not him but I think that Sanji's personality is mostly an act. I believe his passion about food and pretty much nothing else is genuine because it's just so stupidly different from his more noble personality that usually shines through in his actions but not his words. Not that he's a liar hiding things, but that he's a guy who's hiding behind an act because he's running from something.
Oda's creativity with these things is really out there sometimes too. I bet a lot of it just gets glossed over though.
>What happened to Jack?
>Are the Vinsmoke royalty?
>Why would the World Government put him out as Alive Only otherwise? They wouldn't do that for big mam.
I don't know kev
>Where is Jack? Why don't people give him the hype he deserves? JackxZoro will be amazing.
Jack is dead, deserves no hype, if he was alive he could fight Franky at the most
Then all of his reaction about his first poster was an act too. And truly he was happy about Marine fucked it, and he can remain longer in dusguise.
Shit, then Bonny and Lola are siblings and big mum is their mum. Since lola is fat she must like food too.
>I want to be the king!
not sure if depressed, more like motivated, if anything he doesnt want his work to be taken so seriously, as that is why so many "fans" start shiting on it.
I think he says that because of all the things he had read in the fan letters, like " i have counted how many Dons~" or "please explain this ASAP!" or people just try so hard to invent ridiculous theories, he is just saying, "relax! is just a comic book, let me handle the story, you just focus on your dreams"
I'm really glad of that, and he isn't even my favourite character.
He, however, has my favourite background, I really like the whole restaurant ship and Zeff's story with him. And, at the same time, he was always mysterious, many people suspected he had something more than that past.
I think Zoro will have his moment, too. Maybe even other characters, like Brook or Franky.
Why do you keep bringing up the revolutionaries? There's no connection to them. We know his dad was a pirate. Making the leap to assume he's joined the revolutionaries is retarded.
I'm sure Zoro will have a moment like that too but I liked that his was Kuina's fragile death. He is simple so a simple background would be fitting, although I highly doubt it will end just like that. Maybe even Tashigi will have some relevance to his past.
I think everyone of the Straw Hats will have a time to shine, where we will fully know their past:
- Luffy: Final arc obviously, relation with Joy boy and Roger
- Zoro : Wano Kuni, son of some cool samurai, descendant of ryuma and rightful owner of shusui?
- Nami: Already had it with Arlong Park, I don't think we will get more info on her past since we know she was an orphan
-Usopp: Elbaf and Red Hair Pirates
-Sanji: IT'S HAPPENING
-Chopper: I don't think so
-Robin: Already had it, Enies Lobby, but there is still Raftel and the void century
Franky: Vegapunk and his pirate parents?
Brook: Don't know, connection with Kuzan maybe?
>Am I the only one who's glad Sanji is getting more back story?
Who isn't? Sanji's been getting nothing but shit since his fight against Jabura. His only recent shining moment was coming in to save the others against Doffy and that was 2 years ago
Would be funny if turns out Ao Kiji is his son or something. Would match the time lapse and Ao Kiji seemingly having had a rough childhood as an orphan by the looks of it.
But at the same time not everyone needs to be magically linked. Laboon is just a bit underwhelming and unlikely to have any role in the rest of the story.
Not really. Ryuuma just tested his endurance.
I agree, Sabo narrative felt really forced, Hiro Mashima-tier.
They need to write one chapter a week and don't know for how long;
They have to keep the story going, add new elements and deepen the world, I'm okay with that. They makes plans, changes things around, hint some stuff... may be they will pull something from it, "people will say it was forshadowed, moron !", may be not. Whatever. Unlike Naruto or Bleach it went for the best in One Piece -so far- but Sabo addition to the world was devoid of mastery.
I hate her smile. Look in the mirror and smile like her. Do you see your bottom jaw teeth? Fuck no you don't. Now smile while showing it. In conclusion Nami realistically smiles like a horse.
>mfw patiently waiting for Bonney to marry Sanji
>rookie Ace and Jimbei are equal and fight for 5 days until they tire out
>Akainu and Aokiji are near equal and fight for 10 days
>Jack and Inurashi/Nekomamushi are near equal so they stalemate for 5 days
>Two-sword Zoro and Zombie Ryuuma are near equal so the winner one-shots the other in mere minutes
I don't get it. Shouldn't the fight be shorter the greater the difference in power is like Mihawk vs East Blue Zoro?
What is genius about it?
It seems pretty standard.
Oda plans his shit very long in advance (can anyone post his notebooks?), which is the reason so many people don't really warm up to Sabo - yes, he was foreshadowed a bit, but he has a pretty ass-pull'y feel to him.
Oda clearly wanted to hype Zoro with that whole bit. Brook makes a point of saying that they are both very powerful and evenly matched so it should be a short fight. It makes sense to me. It's only going to take one shot because both of them are beasts that can destroy the other. Someone just has to land an attack and it's over. Lucky for Zoro, Ryouma was using someone else's skills and a desiccated body.
>What is genius about it?
>It seems pretty standard.
Everybody thought the way Sabo figured it out was because of Luffy's picture and it was lame but then they realized the pun
Post the Sanji one, where Brook (represents death) imitating hour hands and points at 3 o' clock, and in the bottom left of the picture an owl (sign of death too) is staring at Sanji.
I'd definitely be happy if this is the route Oda takes. He doesn't have to remove the goofy facet of Sanji, but it'd be nice to see him get serious, not because shit is going down with the crew, but because he can be genuinely serious at times.
>Lies about who defeated Croc
>Doesn't even report Moriah's defeat
>Tried and failed to have him assassinated for being useless while reporting he nobly died fighting the WB prirates
>Tries to save face by not warning the public about the Impel Down escapees
Newspapers in One Piece are full of shit. When it says they couldn't find Jack's corpse, it means "He fled the scene and Doflamingo either broke free in the chaos and is now at large or was successfully taken by Jack."
I would be very happy if Sanji putting on a (small) façade is true, that would add a lot of layers to his character.
And yeah, there was always something about him that was fishy, although maybe that was just me autistically reading too much into his behavior and mysterious background.
Do all zoan and paramecia have the abillity to awaken?
Just imagine the crazy next level shit you've never seen before.
I think people pick up on it because of the weird way his personality shifts. It's like he's got multiple personality disorder or some shit but it just makes more sense that he's putting on an act most of the time because most of the time he's hiding/running. But when cornered, out comes Mr Prince to come to the aid of the crew. I kind of half hope he's an okama now too because it would be way too funny.
I'm almost afraid to find out what new things Vegapunk has come up with concerning that. Haven't seen many objects that were fed fruits in a while either. I'd really like to see something like the dog gun, but with an actual beast and a cannon, just to highlight the differences between the old and the new worlds.
That is so fucking cheesy
What i forgot to add:
>Brook calls all the souls from the people the Strawhats lost like Ace, Usopps, Robins and Nami's mothers, Dr. Hiluluk, Kuina, Tom
>They will all be able to talk with them for one last time and tell them what they all achieved
And the Mr. Prince moments are some of the best in the series, so fucking based, especially with the contrast of how ridiculous Sanji can get.
The Okama thing I almost take it for granted tbqh. If it happens, it'll be really fun, I just hope it isn't a huge part of his character, poor nigga has the worst luck.
I actually thought of that too. And I mean, yeah, it might be cheap (especially depending of how it's handled), but it could be incredibly emotive if done well.
Also, I just realized Sanji doesn't really have a dead person from his past (well, I had realized before, but...), so I'm expecting someone from his Vinsmoke background to be pushind daisies.
An easy answer could be his mother, source of his manners towards ladies and yadda yadda.
And at this point, long after Usopp has perished defending Luffy from a sneak attack, Yassop gets to have a scene with his son telling him how proud he was to hear of God Usopp with a 5-Star wanted level
Why the shipping format ?
The word you're looking for is vs.
Whenever i rewatch this scene, i get the feeling that maybe akainu isn't so bad that he's set up to be. Remember that most pirates in the OP-universe aren't as friendly and civil as the straw hats. Most pirates are probably more like blackbeard, you know, the raping, killing and thieving kind.
The marines, how brutal they might be, are the only thing standing between the ruthless pirates who are basically anarchists, and civilians. Whitebeard started a war, knowing that countless lives would be lost that day, in order to save ONE of his crewmates.Akainu may be ruthless and fanatical, but imagine living in a world that's like somalia, albeit on a global scale.
What coby did was to destroy morale amongst his fellow marines, it was an all-out war, he should be prepared to witness bloodshed on the battlefield. As an officer, you don't want your soldiers getting disrupted by some kid screaming and ruining morale for your soldiers. Akainu probably understood the threat coby was to his own men and decided to act quickly, sure killing a fellow soldier might be excessive, but it was in the heat of the moment.
Zehahahaha! Good luck with that during the Blackbeard War!
You're talking about the difference between brawlers and swordsmen. Brawlers who are equal will beat on each other forever until one gives out, but between swordsmen it only takes one good cut.
Akainu is supposed to be a person who takes a good ideal, justice, and takes it too far. Coby was crying out because they had already killed Whitebeard and Ace, ending the war, but were then focused on slaughtering everybody who was left.
nami is a slut without any ounce of shame in her body, she's a erratic woman-child who constantly lashes out against the men who have saved her countless times
but robin... she has this mature vibe, robin is elegant, smart, educated, sophisticated, nami is a mere whelp who doesn't hold a candle to robin
perhaps, but still, they were pirates who had willingly committed the crime of piracy, should they just be left to their own devices so they can wreak havoc another day?
if they were allowed to leave, they would continue with their piracy and threaten more civilians, they can't just invade the marine headquarters and be expected to stroll of just because the marines achieved their goals
it's like a cartel or a mob invading a federal prison to liberate some guy on death row, even though the prisoner was executed, they still invaded the headquarters of the authorities
I agree that Robin is best but I like both
I wouldn't like Zoro to be the son of someone important (although he'll get his moment to shine with the Samurai and shit).
I really like him being just a lad who wanted to kick ass with a katana.
>refuses to cooperate with her team in order to take down oars without luffy
Thriller bark would have ended right there had they completed pirate docking 6
So what if the reason all of Capone's men call him Father is because
the Castle-Castle Fruit also lets him occupy his castle body with self created subordinates to maintain the castle and fight for him? So he is literally the father of all his men
Since Oda has been trolling us with this "Sanji is..!!"for like 4 months, now that we kinda know where the story could go, the flashback stop right at the first page and the next chapter is all about the SH meeting Nekomamushi. No chapter next week. Mark my words.
> omg ODAAAAA ODAAAAA, he planned ZOU 500 chapters ago wow.
go back to reddit faggots
I always wondered what this is.
Perhaps another Zou, walking around the other half of the world. Those 3 things we see might be 3 of its legs.
Those shining things might just be there to confuse us.
no fuck off, it's not Zou, it's nothing. It was just Oda doing an horror movie kind of ending and that's it. This shit always pop up in every arcs whith newfags thinking they are genius because "OMG IT HAS TO BE THRILLER BARK's MONSTER ITS THE SAME SHAPE"
>nothing more than a pair of tits now
That could be said about any of the strawhats at this point.
Sanji looks so cool recently. Bege looks like a total faggot, love how Sanji's looking down on him.
>Bege looks like a total faggot,
Shut the fuck up now, you little bitcch.
>watching youtube reviewers
For what purpose?
come on, really? it was re-mentioned in the last chapter.
OMG, just remembered. Oda has specifically said that Sanji's swanky suits are based off "The Godfather." Also, like Michael Corleone, the main character in The Godfather, he has two older brothers, the violent Sonny & the simpleton Fredo, which would make him the 3rd Son as well. Is this going to be a war of gangsters? We already have a Capone (and a Vito at that!) I'm thinking these Vinsmokes are a criminal family with some deep underworld connections! Especially considering that they'd be marrying into the family of a Yonko!
Sanji already has the gangsta vibe with this outfit
I liked the sound effects of his bounces right after his transformaton. Sounded like gongs. Reminded me of that one scene from Kung Fu Panda were Ooqway actually does something.
I expected him to go full bullet after that, like when he beat up Bruno, but he was a bit too slow and with not enough impact for my tastes.
While I love Luffy's Geppou-ish sky jumping, it's a common fact of shounen manga that once the characters start flying when they couldn't before, the fights will go to complete shit in the future. Do you think this is true?
That's not flight mode, silly. I erased the wings to give him more swords cause some anon thought the next Asura would be based on Garuda.
that was me but maybe he could use hawk-wind to fly, I mean Robin can fly, maybe Chopper will get a Tori mode as a tribute to the birds he lived with for 2 years, Nami will have cloudbending and her waver, Usopp can launch himself, etc. in the end game everyone will be airborne.
>What is Admiral Bowling
>Who is the great admiral of the Yonta Maria Grand Fleet
>The greastest explorer out there since Gold D. Roger
O R L U M B U S, and you, you are a faggot.
Nigga, we're talking about Zoro flying. Not having some twat throw him every single arc.
On that note, Zoro won't fly. He would just jump. He's a demon, he should be stuck to the Earth.
He always looks cool (when outside of Ero-cook mode), it's just that it's been a while since we saw him.
>Sanji is the son of a big name in the underworld
>His father says he "loves" women
>His mom is a Slave/wife of the man
>His 2 brothers are from a different mother
>Sanji deeply loves his mother and so does her for telling him stories about the all blue
>Sanji pisses off his brothers and father and they beat the hell out of him
>his mom protects him
>Later both try to escape
>Father finds about their plan and catches them
>Then proceeds to torture them
>Mom dies cause injuries
>Sanji Swears to never hurt a woman unlike his father
>Then lives as a cook cause it is one of his ambitions and follow his dream of finding the all blue some day
So is Luffy being so bouncy while armored in Gear Fourth the same kind of technique that allows a Logia to stay intangible even when they get hit with Haki?
>He's a demon, he should be stuck to the Earth.
That doesn't look like him opening a hole in himself. It definitely looks like he got cut.
There are now more retired Shichibukai then active ones. Of the still active ones one is a joke, one is essentially brain-dead, and one totally should have lost the title during Marineford but kept it for some reason.
Logias are made out of the element of their fruit, haki users can go beyonnd the defenses logias have cause of their abilities, but they can't do damage to them as if they didn't have their abilities
So are his brothers going to be hot, equally dorky bastards as him or fat weirdo tenryuubito?
Dunno about Buggy being a joke, he might still have a role to play, besides comic relief.
And I still think he and Shanks know what the One Piece is.
I don't think that's who he was talking about, because know the reason Boa keeps her title.
It's because she's
I'm buying this one. I'll stand by this.
Actually Carlos Marcello died on march 2nd. Which is Sanji's birthday. Coincidence? Yeah. But that's all I got because I couldn't find any french gangsters that had a similar name nor a cooking gangster.
>And I still think he and Shanks know what the One Piece is.
Wait. Hold on.
Never thought of that, they were in Roger's crew until he was executed, they probably know as much as Rayleigh.
So what, Shanks believes Luffy is "the man Roger is wating for" and want him to find the One Piece ?
>So what, Shanks believes Luffy is "the man Roger is wating for" and want him to find the One Piece ?
I think that is well established at this point, if not then atleast heavily implied. Reread Sabaody.
Don't make fun of him, he has feelings, you bully.
Like Samuel from Death Vigil, I dig it.
tihihihihi, he's also called The Digger.
Robin is best girl, but no need to shit on nami.
>mfw patiently waiting for Moria and Enel to reappear
I'm really wondering who will take on Capone. I mean, I grew to like him a lot more after this chapter, but I still don't think he will be all that capable combat-wise. He will probably be defeated in a few hits by Sanji, or by Luffy before fighting the big bad of that arc. I can also see Pekoms allying with the strawhats temporarily and taking out Capone.
Or are you just an assblasted loser?
Unless Shanks is pulling the longest double-crossing game ever and encouraging Luffy so that he can open the path to One Piece for him.
Then stab him in the back and while he's on the floor, take his hat back
that fight was the best part of that arc and the best part post time skip
