There's Pulsar Max in Wellington. It's maximum jew though. They sell nendos for like $120 and never put stock on clearance. There are figures there that have been sitting around since at least 2006.

Just buy from Japanese stores. NZ is a pretty good place to buyfag from, other than our shitty currency. Fast shipping from Japan, no GST or customs fees under $400 (for now), and we have a decent postal service.

I ordered the Josuke SAS rerelease a couple of weeks ago (didn't preorder in time so I had to order after it came out)
I paid for EMS shipping, it got here (England) from Japan in 2 days. In total, it cost me about £31ish, £9.50 for the shipping and about £21 for the figure (I think).
Then it was in customs for a full fucking week
After it got out of customs it got retained at the post office, been held there for days. Just got a letter today asking for another fucking £20 with VAT and the handling fee.
What the fuck? This is a pisstake. I didn't expect this and I never wanted to pay this much. Is there anything I can do about this?

Not use EMS in the future. The only thing you can do from this is learn.

The time an EMS package spends in customs usually means that it actually takes longer to be in your house than it would have been if you had used SAL.

SAL usually slips through customs also, if the cost of shipping is low. In my experience a parcel with 3+ cheap things in it will get snagged by customs whereas two, at the most, more expensive things will be fine.
