Fuck, can't walk that one off.
It's self-aware of much of a cutie pie it is.
Mira is fucking cute.
I'm really triggered they put the W axis as the -X axis.
A correct way to 2-dimensionally show 4 orthonormal axes would be to rotate the XYZ axes without moving the W axis (which should be roughly up and left by convention)
Do any of Mabuchi's Grendel mates appear later?
They seem like a cool lot.
No, she probably doesn't understand just how FUCKING CUTE she is.
But yeah, it's gonna haunt us every time they choose to show that intro sequence. Care to explain that 2-dimensional representation a bit more?
Why is he still here? Just to suffer?
Let me start by recommending that you just read the wikipedia article if you want to understand orthogonality. Orthogonality is like, perfect linear independence, and linear independence means any point in the space can only be reached by a unique scalar multiple of the vectors. XY is orthogonal, and linearly independent. but if instead of (0,1), you had the vector (root2,root2), you'd still be linearly independent, but not orthogonal, so you lose a lot of properties we generally find convenient if for no other reason than it's less math to figure out relationships between points.
So, basically orthonormal vectors don't have to point up-out-right, they just have to be all well... orthonormal to each other, that is if you examine the plane any two axis occupy, they are at right angles to each other. This is far from unique, to visualize it simply, you can rotate the YZ axes around the X axis freely, and you still have an orthonormal set that can map to the entire 3-dimensional space. This property extends to the 4th dimension, and of course the nth dimension, except it loses the uniqueness of rotation direction, you can orient XYZ however you want within 3-d space (maintaining the perpendicularity with respect to each other) and the graph can still represent a 4-d orthonormal set, since the W axis isn't pointing to a space in that 3-d set.
<0,0,0,1> is orthonormal to <i,j,k,0> if my two year old group theory recollection is sustaining me.
The intro should have been like a gear. They should have started by drawing XYZ, rotating around X to the sound of gears, then Y, then Z, then draw W, and rotate the XYZ vectors around it to some sound effects of electricity or some shit since W is providing electricity for them.
To be best bro, obviously.
Yeah I know about orthonormality, it's just that I've never seen it represented on a plane with more than three dimensions. I still don't get it. The images I see on Google are either really slightly moved x, y and z axes or just take the w axis as how you would see time.
Oh well, it doesn't matter.
You will never fuck your robot servants. ;_;
So he lost his arms but later bleeds from them?
>tfw husbando is safe
Kyoma better appreciate the robutt later
I like how the best girls this season are both robots.
>Attempts to help guy
>Promptly abandons him with no angst once it's no longer feasible
Holy shit, so refreshing. Truly the hero we deserve.
Been watching too much Fate Stay Night and Raildex mah boi. Most MC's would've left that guy.
I don't know what you're watching and reading, but the MCs from series I'm into do. In fact, I don't even bother with an action series unless the MC is good at decision-making (comedies are the exception).
Thought that was cute. What a cutie.
I'm glad I can say that this season isn't shit.
>nips made another show about the dangers of technological progression showcasing their backwards culture of respecting stagnation
Is this a thing now? Having the robots do the naruto run and humans run normally, OPM did it, and now this. I guess maybe only the studios who aren't too lazy to animate arms..
Feels like I'm watching Solty Rei in Deus Ex universe.
This is one-cour right? Shame, its stylish in a way I haven't seen in a long time. Its definitely amazing to look at. I don't know how long the anime will go to but apparently theres 9 volumes out so it seems like theres plenty of material. I hope it gets renewed or something later in the season, 12 episodes of this would feel criminally short.
Her oh's and groans are cute as fuck.
I want to pet Mira's arse.
No, I'm saying Mabuchi did good.
Nobody cared who I was until I put on the mask.
Is Loser an ally of sorts? Please tell me yes.
>I swear I've seen that style of outfit before but I can't remember where.
It's really old school Japanese Detective Female Assistant outfit.
I know that sounds rather specific, But it's what it is.
Here is an example from SZS.
So MC and maybe the rest of his squad. Were they supposed to be superhuman somehow or just really well trained? I suppose by anime standards Kyouma hasn't actually done anything too outlandish.
I want to repeatedly ask Mira for sexual favours until she gives in.
I didn't see any hostility towards Mabuchi, all of it was harboured towards New Tesla.
>I didn't see any hostility towards Mabuchi, all of it was harboured towards New Tesla.
Hell when Mira asked about the dude's safety, Loser replied with what almost sounded like respect
I can't help but get the impression that this is the kind of show that would do better in the west
>cute robutts doing cute things competition
>get graded on score by panel of judges
>allowed to interfere with each other's work
It's like some bastard child of Robot Wars, Iron Chef, and those stupid Nipponese game shows. I really want it.
>he doesn't watch both robogirls shows this season
A dork and her cat. Have some dork toblerone.
Might as well post the rest of the covers.
Her moving hairpins are so adorable. I want her.
It's got a completely different tone and genre
it's yuri as fuckbut so far it's fun.
Science chick has a cosplay harem.
Oh wait sorry that image is incorrectly named, that's gym uniform girl's butt, bunny wears black.
Left or right?
He's Japanese Gasoline Batman.
I was clearly talking about the manga.
I don't see how that is relevant to the adaptation of even your personal enjoyment of the show in question.
Depending on how far they get we willl hopefully miss when it becomes shiit though.
Now that you mention it there are some serious DtB vibes I'm getting.
Ninja from an old war teams up with a girl to take on an organisation that they work for.
However, DtB was done much better.
Must just be your imagination, anon.
My observational skills are clearly well tuned.
Well when I meant better I meant the first two episodes were done better. There was no stupid 'she's an amazing contractor/robot' in the second episode of DtB. That shit just wasn't important, all you needed was two lines "She's got some real fancy stuff in her, there's only one person who can make stuff like this."
When they said
>It costs as much as a satellite
They should have stopped there.
Eh whatever W still might be quite good but they need to patch up the stupid technocrap
I want to yank it. Her tail, I want to pull it. Hard.
She's so bloody adorable. I want to take her home.
Only some autist would be triggered by this. Its clearly an infomercial meant for the mass to understand. Like an ad.
If your add is too complex then it fails. Having everyone understand that its a 4th dimension and a few autist being annoyed is better than having everyone but those few autist not realize its a 4th dimension.
What does this face convey?
Really? Would abuse.
Conveying the dissatisfaction with rising gas prices, as well as the lack of illegal coils and cute clothes.
No, little coils are their own power source. The big ones just stabilize it.
Illegal coils don't receive stabilization from the big one, therefore
happens when they break.
We have no idea what the Professor did when he went nuclear but I have a feeling he might have cut the connection of all of the small coils to the big ones or something.
Emissions I bet.
There's several theories really; that the big coils are just a distraction and it's really the small coils that tap into W.
Or maybe what you said is true.
I think it could be either but I definitely expect some kind of plot twist about the operation of those devices, probably vindicating Kyouma's decision to be a luddite. Japan nippon spirit of isolation was right all along kind of thing.
Anyone else getting serious deja vu with these world-spanning-free-energy-from-another-dimension towers?
No, just me?
The war that Hei was in seemed more like a guerilla war, fought by mostly contractors and specially trained forces.
The war that Kyouka was in seemed like a bigger event (from like the one picture we see), with Kyouka being part of special-ops to take down particular coil-based weapons. Bigger usually means worse in the suffering department.
I get what you are saying but you are forgetting that the area where the HG appeared turned into a chaotic mess of probabilities and random, absurd and cruel shit happened there without a moment's notice.
So not only you had to deal with other humans trying to kill you but there's also a chance of you suddenly disappearing because quantum fuckery (All Brazilian's cities and its residents within the gate radius were snuffed out of reality when it opened in our world).
Well the heaven's gate disaster that vanished everyone happened at the end of the war and that's what ended it.
The reality is that even organised warfare is horrific. Guerilla warfare is pretty much just small scale versions of larger events. Easier to empathise with since the numbers are smaller, but when you have wars where 40,000 people are exploded or gunned down in a single day that's like 40 guerilla wars all happening at once
I don't blame him for wearing a mask. His face makes me sad and he probably doesn't even want anyone's pity.
Why aren't you embracing the future anon?
Is this the perfect female body? Is this what it looks like?
>>We're going to tax this highly inferior energy source that only the scant few luddites and collectors could ever want, that'll work
As the number of users go down, the infrastructure costs go up by proportion. The government probably want to get rid of the petrol stations entirely. And the costs of fuel supply obviously go up because there is loss of economy of scale.
Legal coils monitor their use and send data back to NT. If they detect malicious use they will report.
Criminal using illegal equipment must use illegal coils or else the police will catch them.
I don't think there was ever an in-depth explanation illegal coils, but I guess they dip into the same territory as numbers, just not as powerful.
I was born in a small village.
Is it confirmed shota?
Then what business does the goth loli have with Loser?
Her having black her seems suspicious. (pic related)
I hope not. Like 70% of that arc is Mira being cute.
Was is it paramount to make the robot have a cute face, boobs, curves, booty and a pussy? I mean seriously imagine a professor tinkering away making her look like that.....shit is fucking disturbing.
You could easily rationalise this as "How can it live like a real girl if it doesn't look and have what a real girl is made of?"
I'm sure he personally tested the pussy part just to make sure it was realistic.
He's a retard, ignore him.
>Was is it paramount to make the robot have a cute face, boobs, curves, booty and a pussy? I mean seriously imagine a professor tinkering away making her look like that.....shit is fucking disturbing.
Some other thread had posted a manga scan which explained that her body and internals wasn't originally meant for androids, but for medical cybernetics. Basically she has internal organs shaped like human ones, and have a sort of circulatory system of nano-machines, all because it was intended to be replacement human organs.
Thus she actually use the toilet, as a way for her to flush the waste water. She was not designed as an android, but was a robot brain put inside a cybernetic shell that was invented for human use.
>conrevo was terrible and bad
That's like, your opinion man.
I really like it
>I volunteer to be on the genitalia testing team
I found the scan on /m/.
Basically to confirm, ALL her internal organs are compatible with humans. As in, she has a heart, a liver, a spleen, etc. Each are synthetic but entirely bio-compatible as potential transplant organs in humans. Nanomachines have a blueprint of each organ and automatically repair any damage. Sweating is done to clean the external areas, while internal foreign mater and waste are removed via water.
>Because you could have a pregnant robot waifu
She can pretend to be pregnant you want. But to actually carry a baby in herself? Come on, that's a waste of her time even if she could do it.
>Can she live without the organs though?
Well one assumes her brain can survive without power. But obviously her organs are meant to maintain the functions of her artificial skeleton and artificial muscles, both are once again, designed for transplant purposes. So she isn't some combat cyborg with indestructible bodyparts.
So you can injure her like you could a human, but nanomachine repair might mean it could be hard to do permanent harm. We don't know how effective is the nanomachine self repair.
She's clearly wearing long leggings.
>apparently theres 9 volumes out so it seems like theres plenty of material
It's a fast-paced adaptation. In two episodes they're at v2 ch9. I'm guessing they went for a quick good impression since the manga has a more slow pace which doesn't work as well in anime with the little time you get. I'm sure they'll slow down the pace a bit more from now on.
From what's scanlated there's the kids arc (ones you saw in ep 1) and then the ghost house arc. That's +4 volumes already, and I'm sure the anime will go beyond that.
Is there any sexual tension between the two of them?
They will fuck or they would be no reason to pair those two
Maybe later. At least up until the Ghostbuster arc, Kyouma doesn't miss a chance to call her a robot all the time, which annoys Mira to no end.
Appearently in the latest arc, there seems to be SOME connection between Mira and and Kyouma's dead girlfriend. But no idea what it is since I can't read moonrunes. Maybe Mira's personality was modelled after her?
This is the one about the production diary from last week https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ZwOqrB0RNo
and this is the new one on sound design from this week apparently
Possibly, consider how Mira said that she had inferior hops, and speculated that it was because she was using normal coils. She could have been previously using special prototype coils though, so it's not certain. Also see >>136295849
He ain't an asshole towards her anymore and even patted her in latest arc after she got really hurt trying to protect him.
Her original coil doesn't appear to have an X on it.
Maybe tampered with by the Professor to avoid being monitored and/or for other enhanced properties but who knows what similarities it has to actual illegal coils.
A NIGHT SKY FULL OF CRIES
HEARTS FILLED WITH LIES
WAS IT WORTH THE PRICE?
A SOUL, PLEDGED TO THE DARKNESS
NOW I'VE LOST IT
I KNOW I CAN KILL
THE TRUTH LIES BEYOND DIMENSION W
(Mira plays guitar_riffs.mp3 through her hairpins)
But for whose pleasure?
>Maybe Mira's personality was modelled after her?
It seems that Professor's wife was overseeing her head transplantation of MC's girlfriend in first place so i guess they used parts of her mind while making Mira. No wonder MC seems to have some flashbacks first time he sees her, she reminds him of his own beloved.
Fuck you, cars should run on gasoline and be allowed to have worse sound and exhaust emission standards. Electricity should be produced through burning coal or nuclear power or whatever is cheapest and most effective. It's the way our ancestors did it and I'll be damned if I don't do it the same way myself.
Why is back to back rivals the coolest shit ever?
I hope the manga explores how much W can fuck everything up.
We need to go deeper.
Then is he letting her sleep in the bed now?
You will never tease your robot sidekick. ;_;
Why must such evil persist?
>Why does a robot need to go to the toilet?
Her nanomachines dump waste products into the water-based circulatory system that is then excreted like urine.
This might seem complicated, but it makes sense if you remember that her body's organs are meant to be compatible with human biology. So she has to use non-toxic ways of disposing waste.
Mira trying to convince Loser's son she wasn't a robot was cute!
Hahaha, I'm not validating that.
Technically you do, but it's always more like "OH SHIT SOME RUBBLE FELL/I'VE BEEN FATALLY WOUNDED AND THE SITUATION IS NO LONGER FEASIBLE, GO ON WITHOUT ME" and not "Welp, tough luck man. I'm outta here."
I am thankful for their timely release.
Even a sad Mira is cute.
>now a cyborg as a result
>wears a mask with only slanted eyes and scar tissue visible
>devoted to revenge and steals items strongly associated with his enemy
Loser is pic related
I want to hit on Mira.
Knowing how much she wants to be human, she'll be keen as fuck.
>Dimension W? This show went under my radar
>Dat opening sequence kicks off
She's so cute, can I keep her?
This to be quite honest, especially after this episode.
Would hire as domestic servant/secretary.
I can buy her.
She's cute in the source, but not as cute as in >>136329686
There are lots of studios that couldn't do nearly this well.
Mira reminds me of her
Illegal coils are just like cheap knock-off hover boards. Poorly made with no safety regulations concerning the parts they use so they burst into flame, or in this case Dimension W.
I want to prostitute Mira.
I'd help her collect my coils of DNA if you know what I mean
Are robots fuckable in this universe?
You'll let her take swabs from your mouth?
It's pretty fucking boring. Not even erotic in the slightest.
>Are robots fuckable in this universe?
We had a little discussion earlier.
Most robots are not fuckable (unless they've been designed to be), but Mira is designed to be fuckable since she's designed to be as humanlike as possible.
>Why not just have a tube that extends from her elbow or some shit.
Because, extending what we know about hr anatomy, she must have synthetic kidneys and bladder that could be transplanted intro a human. Thus her waste disposal mirrors that of a humans because her excretion system can also remove biological waste, should the same organs were placed in a humanbeing.
Mira is a robot brain placed in a synthetic human body. She isn't designed as a robot at all.
That's reaching quite a bit, unless that's already been told in the manga.
And if she was designed to be as close to a human as possible, why the oversight of 'hairpins' and tail?
Unless they're absolutely necessary for manipulating coils.
Like I said, I don't know whether the manga covers this or not, so I'm just making assumptions at this point.
>unless that's already been told in the manga
I believe it has, but not in any of the available scanlations.
>of 'hairpins' and tail?
She used her hairpins, well one of them, to broadcast the recording of the mother and daughter's murder up in Mary's lab.
She raised her tail into frame at pic related, so it seems she can reprogram coils by spiking them with her tail.
Does Mira have an age she's suppose to represent? 16?
I wonder what's the worst fuck up possible.
At least a SI-compliant release.
>That's reaching quite a bit, unless that's already been told in the manga.
Already posted here.>>136301251
Her internal organs, muscle, bone, skin, are all designed fore the purpose of human transplantation. There are some modifications that simplified the system in Mira, but her organs were meant to co-exist inside a human body. Everything has to be non-toxic and could be grafted into a real person.
Not going to lie. I want to spitroast Mira in this position.
Does this make me a bad person?
Yes it does
Don't worry, I'm a bad person too
>FFF just released ep 1.
And it wasn't worth the wait. It's just the Funimation script with cuss words injected for edgyness. Combine that with FFF's track record of stalling, I wouldn't even bother.
Tried stitching this together. It's a shame that the legs didn't join up.
EDGY AS FUCK
Now this is some advanced memesubbing
Why is this manga even adapted? Bjorg Trinity by Oh Great! will destroy this action wannabe manga. Iwahara should have chosen Cat's Paradise, not Dimension W which no one is Japan reads.
I'm really hoping the director doesn't screw this one.
Whether or not you liked Saekano as a show, it had utter shit for direction. Dimension W already seems like a step-up from his previous works but I'm still wary.
They can't adapt his art style which is the only good point and the plots are always a complete and utter clusterfuck of shit so no, it won't be successful.
>new dimensional axis
>it is just the negative x-axis
Why can't Japan into math?
