What's the best route in this thing /a/ ? I'm already at the basically " select a route " part.
I recall playing through the loli girl, slut, autist and maid's routes. They were all poorly written which came a as surprise since up until the point of choosing who to go after, the story wasn't half bad. I think I preferred the maid's narrative, though.
best route order: (it's fine you want to playyour fav girl first, but this is the best order if you plan on doing all routes
3. Amane (definitely the best route to end on and PLAY THE BAD END)
Yumiko's route is still really good. I love yumiko herself and the h-scenes are god-tier. It's that it's very conventional compared to the other routes which all do something completely unexpected. Also, even though Yumiko certainly had a hard life, it's nothing compared to the fucking trauma and mental conditions the other girls go through. Therefore there are less raw emotions in her route. Don't hesitate to play it though. if you really like Yumiko, then i would even recommend doing her route first. Afterwards there will be a increase in quality for the next route
>3. Amane (definitely the best route to end on and PLAY THE BAD END)
I did Amane first though. Admittedly that was because of muh dick but I don't think it ruined the experience
>Playing Makina's before Yumiko's
Both routes are pretty much the same thing, but Makina is a lot better.
The best order, as it's been said a thousand times is:
If you find yourself too tired/bored after Yumiko's route, and want something more lighthearted, switch Makina with Sachi.
>tfw Makina was my favorite girl but her route made her drop a few places
Mitcher a best
Juicy Yuuji is really hard to relate to as a protagonist; I keep feeling like I'm struggling to restrain manlet Major Payne. I think a self-insert character wouldn't make sense with the plot, but his issues loom super-huge for a vn. It's not unenjoyable, but disorienting.
I never read the vn because I heard it was edgemaster real deal shit, plus the rest of the trilogy is lost to shekel project territory. is it really not worth watching the anime just to see the girls being hot sluts?
I played it a long time ago but it's something like
Makina > Michiru > Amane > Yumiko > Sachi
Honorable mention: Sachi's bad end. Holy crap I couldn't stop laughing
definitely not makina, so play that one first and get it out of your way
after that you can do any other route depends on the girl that you fancy
amane best route
yumiko is pretty entertaining, you probably need to turn off your brain though, too many plot conveniences. heck, even the route itself make joke of the said plot convenient
michiru has a pretty damn satisfying ending for some reason
sachi second best after amane
Amane has best route.
Michiru is generally best girl.
Sachi is my waifu tho.
Follow the order of the routes the anime took for a better experience.
Mitcher > Sakaki > Sachi > Makina > Amane
well, the translation was pretty good (no thanks to sekai project), and if you don't like the edgy stuff, the common route is pretty damn good.
I still said give it a try, entirely up to you though.
>the fucking trauma and mental conditions the other girls go through. Therefore there are less raw emotions in her route.
She had it just as bad as everyone else did. I'm not really sure why you'd think this
Play all of them, any order. It really doesn't matter, they're all good. The game really has no worst girl or worst route, just girls you might like more/less.
If I had to choose a route to be the best it might be Amane's. They're all good though.
>She had it just as bad as everyone else did
Makina starved as she was chained to a pole and stared at her father's rotting corpse for days in a warehouse all alone.
Yumiko's parents didn't love her.
Yeah just as bad.
The entire world hated Yumiko for no reason other than she had shitty parents.
I didn't realize Grisaia was a pissing contest though over who suffered the most. Guess we shouldn't feel bad for Michuru or Sachi because other girls had it worse than they did.
The game might make you cry. It depends. It's not Clannad bad but if you feel for the characters enough you might.
The anime is..iffy. Yuuji is much more serious in the anime than in the VN. In the VN he's ridiculously sarcastic.
Also the anime canon has him not getting with any of the girls so they had to completely change a lot of the girl's routes to fit that narrative. But I still thought it was a fun watch.
Yeah if you can find a torrented version with the 1.1 English patch. Downloaded mine a long ass time ago so I have no idea where to find it now that Sekai got their hands on it.
Mitcher was pretty annoying in the begining but she turned into best girl. Pick her or Amane to start.
