I think the only reference to Sweden I've ever seen in anime is the city from Kikis Delivery Service. It's based on the Swedish cities Visby and Stockholm since Miyazaki visited them when he wanted to make a Pippi Longstocking anime but was denied the rights by the author. It was the first time he left Japan for another country.

It's not true either. I've imported absinth with an alcolohic content of 90% so claiming that the second strongest spirit in the world is 88% isn't true at all. I know, it's a manga and not a proper study but whatever.

I'm not sure I've ever seen an Australian in anime. I'm honestly surprised there aren't at least a few more, given our proximity, decent relations, and the fact that Japanese is actually the most popular language to teach over here. I guess we're let down by a lack of really distinct, interesting stereotypes compared to Americans and the Brits.
