The best of the best
Superior episode coming through.
I totally didn't know recommendation threads were allowed on /a/!
Why so angry?
You faggots are the ones breaking the rurus, not me.
The best haruhi episode and probably the best comedy filler episode i've ever seen
any renge x candy store episode is a fucking gift from the gods. L
No way, the episode where the Dice game is finished is absolutely the best in the series. That arc had the best villain and the most realistic game/cheats, on top of the best ending to a story.
The sound only made this episode better. Absolutely amazing if you hadn't been spoiled.
Both 19 and 20 are glorious.
10/10 for all the wrong reasons
>when the insert song plays right as the camera rotates around to show the tepplin fleet
Fucking glorious. Does anyone have a gif of that?
Pic related and whatever episode the flashback with the dad is in. Clannad AS has some glaring flaws, but it also has some of the greatest moments in any media
All of the planet episodes of Kaiba are GOAT
Episode 9 of Kamichu! is my favorite single episode in all of anime. The one with the spirit of the battleship Yamato.
The series peaked at 22 for me.
FLCL episode 4
Jupiter Jazz 1&2
Bebop episode 24
Ping Pong Christmas episode
Pani Poni Dash episodes 12 and 13 (himiko's dream and banchou)
Turn A Gundam episode 50
Non non Biyori sunrise episode
Susei no Gargantia episodes 1&2
Flamenco in Space
Paranoia Agent Happy Family Planning
Ichigo mashimaro with the ferret and cake shop
Big O Winter Night Phantom
Sekai seifuku Smoker conquest
Champloo episode 11
Sora no Woto final episode
I know it's recent, but god damn it was perfect.
It's not a rec thread, it's simply saying what episodes you liked the most from the series. I mean come on, I report thinly veiled rec threads a lot but this isn't one at all. Are anime-specific threads like the JoJo and YYT ones rec threads as well? Buyfag threads are definitely rec threads since they mention the anime the figure is from.
If you keep shitting things up rec threads will end up being fucking allowed because everyone will think "rec thread" is a new buzzword you fucking retard.
>tfw everything involving the overarching Fumika drama was shit
that episode made me go outside for the first time in 2 months
I'd argue episode 4 was better, but only because the guy lives the same way I did.
Most recently for me, Tatami Galaxy 10 + 11 were fantastic.
Genshiken 2's last episode. I really like that ending sequence where the club members are just comfortably talking about each others' jobs and such.
To be fair if Billiards was an episode I would have picked that instead. 4 was the closest to how Billiards felt like, though the episode about the killer was nice as well.
Diamond no Ace 63
Aria Origination finale
Clannad AS 18
Ippo S1 finale
Major s1 6
Code Geass R2 final
Ping Pong 10
Ping Pong 8
Tokyo Magnitude 10
There might be one or two more I can't think of, but this is about it.
Dead Dandy 12/10 episode.
>There might be one or two more I can't think of, but this is about it.
You've posted your list like a hundred times, why even bother hedging it now? You're such a fucking preening faggot.
According to the archive I've posted it two other times. Why are you such an angry guy anon?
>Buyfag threads are definitely rec threads since they mention the anime the figure is from
>If people share the sauce, it's a rec thread
ooohhh my insides~
Honestly I'm a very optimistic guy. If you want a thread asking for something so blunt as "what's your favorite anime, anon-kun?" I wouldn't consider it a rec thread. It's a shame that some f/a/gs are so uptight about that stuff.
Maybe the OP is making that thread as a ruse to get recommendations. Probably true, but I'd wager most people that would click on that thread are going in to discuss what they think makes an anime great, and giving their favorite as an example.
Even beyond that, I don't blame people for at least trying. Sure, you can take your anime recommendations thread to another board, but the recommendations there are going to be so monotonous and coming from unseasoned anime viewers in comparison to somewhere like /a/. And where else is a person to get a truly passionate and unfiltered opinion due to anonymity other than 4chan?
Honestly, it's always hard to remember a 10/10 episode from series that I saw a long time ago, but certainly the first episode of Boku Dage ga Inai Machi was very 10/10 in terms of a first episode. It did everything a first episode should do, and it did it flawlessly.
>made it seem like Nanami was actually going to die during all the fights
What gave you that impression? She was easily overpowering everyone with ease after just seconds of observing.
It made you feel dread of how the fuck can she be this strong.
They also spent most of the episode on the wanimani, fleshing them out and giving them character before blowing them the fuck out and I freaking love that trope, can't get enough of it.
Mushishi, lingering crimson.
Holy shit, that finale
What is this sudden emptiness I'm feeling.
