Air and Clannad were shit adaptations, though. The only good one was Kanon 2006, and even that fucked up Nayuki's arc and made Ayu into an insufferable personalityless uguu moeblob who seemed even younger for her age than she was in the VN (She acts like she's about 12 in the VN, but she's more like a 6 year old in the anime).
I can accept this
>worse than air, clannad or kanon
Sorry bud, but the anime is so fucking inferior to the source material it's not fucking funny. The only thing worth watch is Refrain and that's only because the story which it's adapted from is actually very good.
Just look at this fuking Riki's face.
I've only watched the first 3 episodes since it was Kurugaya's route and from what I remember hearing that part had the best animation anyway.
So at least my waifu got good treatment.
I actually like Kyoani unironically and watch most of their shit, while admitting it is actually shit.
Yes, people like me exists.
That's why I use "so fucking inferior" term, not just "inferior". Because it was awfully bad if you try compare it. I know Clannad also inferior to the source material, but not this bad.
KyoAnifags aren't cancer they said.
KyoAnifags don't hype their shit they said.
The important part most people forget about is admitting it is shit.
You are a good person.
>retards think it's good because of these so called "plot twists"
No, people hate it because they can't read fucking subtitles. That and the fact people got their hopes up thinking it would surpass Angel Beats. Charlotte was literally Angel Beats 2.0 but with a even more rushed second half.
The same way why people like anything in the first place. Why should that bother you whether people like it or not? It's not even popular against previous Key works so I don't get why people are mad at other people liking it.
Don't even remind me.
Or the Clannad movie.
Why did Kanon get two adaptations? Does KEY really have that much power and influence?
Most of /a/ has been done with KyoAni since the Free announcement. The remaining kyoani diehards actually post mostly in the ghost board:
But every once a while, megax will tell his twitter cronies spam /a/ to drive up google trend of kyoani shows. This is the latest wave.
JC Staff has always been terrible at adapting things.
KyoAni thrives on good source material.
This is pretty much common knowledge.
Whoa there. I'm just done with my part-time job a couple minutes ago, don't make me put up the effort to whoop your ass now.
>I'm uncomfortable with anything that isn't just high school SoL
The first season of Clannad was meh, could have handled character arcs better as Fuko and Kotomi went of for too long, and Fuko doesn't come back until the end while Kotomi just becomes a background character that does nothing of note
>JC Staff has always been terrible at adapting things
What is Azumanga Daioh
