First episode of Ajin has officially aired! Is anyone else excited for this series?
It looks really high quality, I especially like the amazing subtitles!
well, it has
>a working video player, not one of those where the video keeps buffering or the image freezes at some point but the audio goes on like some other sites have
>the good subtitle version, not the shitty ones that came out of google translate
>again, 3 episodes out so far instead of only 1 like on all the other sites
blame your 3rd world internet if it keeps buffering or blame your toaster if it lags or whatever problems you have with it.
if I wanted I could even download the videos from youtube but what's the point? the quality already is 1080p on youtube so dont tell me anything about quality. streaming is simply a more convenient way of watching for me and it's not like I'm gonna rewatch it 20 times when I already got the story out of it.
Ah stop being a fucking contrarian, is worse than TG in almost every way, I say that as someone that don´t enjoy TG. The one few thing this series has better is CRUAAAZY Satou and that friendly guy side character with smilie earrings. The edge went up 1000% when the writer left, guess the artist felt hurt heh. Anyway the MC is just a giant tsundere at this point.
>Video resolution says ANYTHING about quality
Are you retarded? I can make a 4k video that's 60kb big and literally a single colour for each frame. Does that mean it's good quality?
>thinks that I was saying anything about the video being upscaled
That doesn't matter at all, idiot. If the bitrate is shit, the quality will be shit. Nothing to do with video resolution or upscaling.
The 3D is mediocre, I've certainly seen better. In fact Bubuki Buranki this very season is an example of better animated 3D CG.
Ultimately I feel that maybe in 5-10 more years when animators have had more practice and increases in computing power provide better tools 3D anime might actually start to be decent in comparison to 2D (though 2D will still be superior, the best 3D can hope for is to make a form of 3D animation that can imitate 2D animation, which isn't that bizarre considering Japan is already working on stuff like that).
Honestly I'm just getting sick of his whole "I cut off my emotions/ don't have any emotions" (proceeds to have and actively experience emotions) crap already.
Seriously, whoever is writing this is keeping that particular character conflict going way too long and it's become really stale.
