So if Last Born is the Cherry Blossom Guardian and is considered the last Lvl 100 NPC, what Lvl is Albedo's little sister? Or does she not count as an "NPC" like Gargantia, as she is also a "Golem" type. But does that make sense? "NPC" just means non-player character which should be any creature that is not part of POP in Nazarick. Why wouldn't they count? Or are they lvl 99? There really wouldn't be much of a difference between Lvl 100 and 99 right? Considering Guren is Lvl 90 and is still stronger than some of the other Lvl 100 floor guardians in its lava lake and all the other "top lvl NPC" on the 8th floor.

Guns are improvements over what they already have.

It's easier to use them compared with bows, and Nazarick already has access to post-musket weapons like rifles.

Low-level guns still wouldn't be able to do anything to Ainz or the Guardians; Yggdrasil had them (the Gunner class like Shizu), so they're not as out-of-context as in Maoyuu or Log Horizon.

I'm toying with the idea of making a "Underminion" story, kind of a reverse Ainz where the protagonist starts shitty and gets shittier.
Its like Kaji compared to Akagi, where Akagi is Ainz.
It doesn't seem like its any fun though.
Most of the reason I seem to like the story is the feeling of overwhelming power I get reading it. Like the protag COULD nuke a nation but nah, he'll leave it to his lovable horrifying and beautiful minions to do a gothic job of it.
What kept you guys reading it? I know people punked out at vol.4 because it wasn't Ainz and Co. but by the end I felt it was a fun way to show off the characters.

Pop NPCs are 30 and under, and they don't have a cost.

Also, IIRC elder liches are possible pop spawns (Foresight kills 1-2 of them for a quest). Iguva was only special because Ainz was experimenting with him, but if Foresight can kill elder liches they must be way under level 30.

Also, when Heavy Masher was running around Nazarick they ran into 7 elder liches at once. More evidence that they're pops. Now I wonder what happens when you unleash an army of fireball spammers, given that fireball is alreadty considered very powerful in the NW?

That's the most likely event. Everyone is changing, NPCs or players. In fact, if you think about how the Minotaur player made humans go from live stock -> slaves but stopped there it's possible that by that point before his moral values from his previous life kicked in harder he just settled in as a Minotaur and stopped giving a fuck.

You can imagine how the 8 Greed Kings reacted once they noticed their guild mates starting to act weird unlike their previous world selves. Even more so if certain players had evil alignment while others had good.

There's no reason to believe that they can do this in the New World, considering that combat mechanics in there are different to our world.

In the end it's cheaper for Ainz to just produce undead until he gets into the sort of situation where he's controlling more land than his hordes of Death Knights can cover.
In fact, more or less everything you'd normally use a machine for, you can use a clever application of undead for it because it's technically free slave labour.
Considering that undead are more or less free to acquire, it's far more efficient to use them for everything until demand overwhelms the supply.

Anyway, the reason he was fucking over his own gains was because he had hit a wall and was frustrated. There was literally no benefit to training sensibly anymore.

Also, I know that others I mentioned were relatively successful in their own life, but we did have only a few scenes with them, so a few really stupid actions stand out a lot.
