I am a history teacher and had a really mild situation with a girl, not even remotely close to this manga. She obviously liked me and she liked to be a little close, nothing outside of law.
I was uncomfortable, but I really struggled of what to say to her. I asked a friend of mine what to do, and he said that if you are too quick to accept or reject her proposal, you have a problem. They should teach this yet while training teachers, yet no one does.
Anyway, I played the Natsuru card and went ultra dense. She let it go the end of the year.

You can make history class fun. I try to put my students in the time period and make them think of the situations for themselves. Way easier to learn and the experience make them remember it for far far longer.
Now, with the popularity of Game of Thrones, students fucking love Middle and Dark Age. They don't feel that it is romantic anymore (princess and knights and dragons, everyone?) and more into survival of the fittests and assholest.
They have a lot of fun in class and they like to learn. And it shows on their tests.
