everything in this series is always miraculously solved. if they were able to go into space without trouble, if they were able to defeat skilled soldiers without getting hurt, nothing is impossible for them. there is no more tension.
Defeating Houjou's gang and Houjou himself is well-explained. They haven't been trained to fight, they've been trained to pull off an 'assassination' before it turns into a fight.
and of course everything happens exactly as they planned, right? I may have expressed myself badly when I said "miraculously solved", but it is undeniable that they always get everything they want without much trouble. that's why there is no real tension.
>that shitty attempt at passive aggressiveness
And the whole breaking the old guy's back, which also led to their test positions going down.
But none of these count because he says so.
>b-but muh tension
Where the fuck do these people come from?
>muh justice = capitalizing resources for patriotism
Feels good to be a freedom pig.
>the kids have never even managed to hurt Korosensei, despite him constantly being handicapped by also trying to make sure they never get injured
>now they have to fight two nutcases just as strong as him if not stronger that have absolutely no qualms about murdering them all
I don't see how they're getting out of this one
>The students failed plenty of times, like against 2nd god of death
who was defeated with the help of ketchup.
>and when they got easily captured by the mercenaries.
which were easily beaten by them soon after.
it is always the same way:
> Oh, shit, they're fucked now! > Oh, nevermind, they are already ok.
The government will launch the laser again. But will hit the GoD 2.0 instead of Korosensei. End.
Korosensei will hold GoD 2 and ask the government to launch the laser. Both die. Cliché, but whatever.
>We have to kill Korosensei because he's too dangerous! The rest of the world won't tolerate such a monster running around!
>LOL LETS USE OUR TWO SUPER MONSTERS THAT ARE TWICE AS DANGEROUS AS HIM, AND THEY'RE BOTH INSANE TO BOOT!
That reminds me, since Shiro's tentacles are replacing most of his internal systems, what happens when he gets hit by a laser?
That was Shiro's choice, it's done in the safe dome, and he doesn't care about his own life.
The government's alright with it because data/weaponry.
>>>we ultra bad guys will sacrifice ourselves because we have seen the light!
They're going in because they want to fucking kill him and don't care about their own lives, are people pretending to be retarded?
Middle schoolers in Japan can follow this shit better than you can.
You don't like to see them winning at all.
>1. a battle or combat.
>2. any contest or struggle
By default, their fights are a showcase of effort.
two possibilities: you haven't read many stories or you just read bad stories. in the stories that I read, even with teamwork and training they still need to work hard to get what they want.
You don't like to see them winning at all.
with kisses, offscreen training, clapping and ketchup? you're right.
>work hard to get what they want
Then it's a good that they fucking do
And every single one of those happened at their climax, you lowercase autists.
Some fucking turbo retardation today.
>half of the thread consists of ESL shitposting
>we could put an end to the war against terrorism in an instant
They could do that already. They have things called nukes. Those would produce more or less the same result as a murderous indiscriminate killing bioweapon.
>radiation fucking everywhere
>easily shot down
>everyone in the entire world will know who launched the nuke so nips would be fucked
>none of the above
Gee, I don't know.
>that last page
Well, we never actually did see Korosensei fight seriously. He was always restrained in some way or another, or simply didn't give a fuck. Considering his words on the last page, shit's about to go down.
Also, I know this is AssClass, but shouldn't the students suffer heavy injuries from experiencing mach 2 sonic boom from 10 meters away?
When they were flying with Koro in some earlier chapters it was actually explained how he protected them by swinging his tentacles etc. but now they are fine even though they should be deaf at least, if not completely dead.
First of all, he is not able to move at maach 20 right of the bat, even GoD2.0 isn't able to.
And from what I saw he just got blown the fuck out by the boom as well, so he didn't really have a lot of time window to somehow protect 30 people.
I just assumed that >>136158855 was in slow motion.
And everyone else was starting to back away too.
At least OPM told you that the MC is OP as fuck and can solve anything with one punch from chapter 1.
Hell, the series's barely about him and more about the other pleb heroes struggling around him.
>Hell, the series's barely about him and more about the other pleb heroes struggling around him
Just like AssClass! Except the way the students solve problems in AssClass is much more interesting than the side characters in OPM.
I find it unbelievable that anyone could consider One Punch Man better than AssClass.
It doesn't change the fact that OPM is a meme-manga hyped by reddit and other normalfag websites as "the best thing ever since SAO".
I highly doubt that the government will just suddenly say fuck it and give up killing Koro, just because he defeated GoD2.0.
Time will tell, I guess.
The government said they didn't care whether he explodes or not, they want him dead.
OPM is more of a gag manga unlike AssClass, so if you really wanted to see some true problem solving I wouldn't recommend a manga where the MC solves everything with a single punch.
Still the process before the punch is punched is pretty good and entertaining.
>OPM is more of a gag manga
For the thousandth time, spouting "it's a gag manga" does not excuse it for its flaws.
AssClass is more a SoL than anything.
>the process before the punch is punched is pretty good and entertaining
Just like the process before a problem in AssClass is magically solved, ne?
>they're pretty different and shouldn't be compared to begin with
No because every single time someone criticises AssClass they say that there's no tension because you know the problem will be solved soon anyway.
And yet those same people praise One Punch Man like no tomorrow. They have some nerve.
>Just like the process before a problem in AssClass is magically solved, ne?
I never said problems were magically solved in AssClass. It seems you mixed my posts with the other anon.
And yes, I do enjoy the process before the problem is solved otherwise why would I bother reading it?
I told you why. Although it may not excuse it in your book, it is because from the very first chapter they've been told that the MC can solve everything with one punch so they're not even reading it for the ' tension ' but more for the struggle the other heroes go through before the MC nonchalantly solves it with one punch making everyone looks like a pleb.
I never really met anyone who reads OPM for the tension. And I'm not talking about the meme-loving anime plebs but about the people who have read OPM ever since Murata took over at least.
assclass is about children learning things. if they solve without much problem, it is completely normal for people to complain. opm, on the other hand, is about a fully evolved character. the goals are totally different. the comparison is silly.
it will be raditz + goku sacrifice style.
>solve without much problem
That's why the characters chapters are about them solving their personal problems.
If anything, those chapters define what they're best at, hence why they excel at what they do.
>the comparison is silly
Hilarious, considering how you love to suck Killua's dick all the time, you ESL fuck.
this manga has been going down hill since kayano arc.
