>next ep she's like "it's cool brah"
>he proposes to her to show he wants to take responsibility and make her happy
>she laughs at him
This show was retarded and she was a weird bitch. Like it wasn't the first time she was raped
titty monster sensei>>>>>S1 Shoko>>>Saki>S2 Shoko
has it really been 3 years
>Shoko wasn't revealed to be a magius
>Shoko wasn't revealed to be leader of the cow empire
So much wasted potential.
Shoko was great. The story just shat on her repeatedly. And the rest of the cast foolishly made her their enemy by lying to her and omitting information.
She could have been one of their greatest allies.
How does one go from a pretty decent MC in S1 to a total fuckhead in S2?
>And the rest of the cast foolishly made her their enemy by lying to her and omitting information.
Who cares if the person who lied to you is the only reason you're still alive, if your enemy, who has tried to kill you many times, revealed some minor lie obviously you should abandon your ally!
Yes. She invites him to come and see her in a concert and teases him because he 'kissed her' when she was unconscious. She acts like she used to do around Haruto before she got her personality stolen from her by drama.
Haruto didn't remember either in the end, only his feelings for L-Elf remained when he died.
>Remind me who was best girl?
Akira of course, who else?
>Main girl is not an insufferable tsundere/cunt
>She only kinda wins
Seriously Japan. Fuck. You.
Stop self inserting faggot. She was his childhood friend and he loved her since the beginning. He knew nothing about Saki before and raped her unwillingly, rape that she accepted like the slut she is.
Daily reminder that Shoko and L-Elf never cared about each other and that Haruto and Shoko would have gotten together if he lived.
>didn't even need to drink people's blood to get runes, only needed to have sex
>still chose not to have sex with Saki who loved him and was willingly offering herself to him
Why did Haruto do that?
Childhood friend still won.
Reminder that Shoko drove Haruto away and never apologized when she found out the truth.
She didn’t, he did and they were never really driven apart.
>ship Haruto and Shoko so hard you sacrifice your life for them to get together
How can one jew be such a good wingman?
Because he's a nice person who wouldn't use people like that.
He knew what the show's OTP was.
If runes are indeed found in DNA as well then Haruto's continuous jacking of L-Elf left a genetic imprint on L-Elf's genetic code, as jacking is defined as "sending your runes into another body."
L-Elf became leader of Module 77 at the end of Valvrave, suggesting he is the first in line of M77's new royalty. Thus it is safe to assume the prince is his descendant, which explains his similarity to L-Elf, while his similarity to Haruto is the result of L-Elf's family genetics being altered by Haruto's DNA.
Basically, Haruto put his sugar in L-Elf's coffee.
>Drives a fucking mech
>Loyal till the end
>Had sex with you
Is Saki the most based animu grill ever made?
>was willing to let Haruto suck her blood
>cries tears of joy when she rescues him on the moon
>keeps a locket of Haruto, faithful to him 200 years later
Damaged goods like saki who were raped and abused a lot when they were kids are the least likely to betray you, because you were special enough to get through her hardened protective shell to save her.
That's an automatic negative.
>Drives a fucking mech
Doesn't matter and wasn't that good at it. Plus side materials say Shoko was a better pilot.
>Loyal till the end
Only if you lose all your memories and focus solely on her.
>Had sex with you
>was willing to let Haruto suck her blood
Because she wanted sex out of him and refused to acknowledge his obviously aversion to her after the rape.
>raped and abused a lot when they were kids
That never happened.
>still pretending there was any contest
You were just never a part of it.
In the flashback scene, Saki is beaten by her stereotypically drunk deadbeat father and thrown out onto the street, becomes a young idol in a seedy industry, then gets kicked out of that too. She has no friends, alienates everyone, and has scenes where she explicitly says "I hate humans" and "the world tried to kill me."
If you are the one person who managed to get her to believe in things like trust, kindness, and love again, why would she ever betray you?
Are you saying the scene didn't happen at all? If I remember correctly, there is a scene with loli Saki cowering in ragged clothes framed in a doorway.
Am I losing it?
Her flashback only showed her time in the idol industry which we all know isn't a good time, not for her but in general, but unlike Akira she never was shown to have any previous experience that excused her bitchy and childish behavior.
Shoko was always the more mature one.
Shoko's arc is realizing that she is ready for the next step in life and tsking on more responsibility.
Saki was the immature one that acted like she thought an adult should act but was very selfish and self-centered. Hrr arc is realizing that she is that immature, which is why she asks if she is a bsd prrson in the last episode.
Nice meme, she never took responsibility for anything and was always carried by the choice of other people
Couldn't get her shit together when his father told her to move on, overpowered by everyone to the point of forcing herself to give Haruto to Arus, never had any sort of decent plan and ultimately brought Module 77 to ruins by getting deceived by Arus.
>but muh haruto lied
Well yeah, but she also let in people who constantly refused to collaborate with them through the whole series and were worth of any trust
She seems like a nice enough girl. Would she be a good girlfriend for Haruto? Not at all. She only wanted him because of muh loneliness. That's not healthy for a relationship.
>she never took responsibility for anything
She did. She took full responsibility for everything she did and never tried to pass the burden off.
>was always carried by the choice of other people
Becoming PM was ultimately her decision and her realizing that she was ready for more responsibility.
>Couldn't get her shit together when his father told her to move on,
Because you would be so well composed after being forced to watch your father die.
>overpowered by everyone to the point of forcing herself to give Haruto to Arus,
Because one person can stand up to an angry mob. Also it's why that is Shoko's only real immature moment, giving into childish anger.
>never had any sort of decent plan and ultimately brought Module 77 to ruins by getting deceived by Arus.
She did, but the Magius had a better one.
>Well yeah, but she also let in people who constantly refused to collaborate with them through the whole series and were worth of any trust
She says at the start of S2 that she can't fully trust them and needs to prove themselves and earn their trust or they will just keep undermining them.
I just checked ep. 6, it happens around the 19:00 mark, a man (presumably her dad) strikes her in the face. There's a longer flashback later from her time in the idol industry.
In the beginning of the episode she says to Haruto: "Poverty, violence, alcohol, crime, I would've been better without my parents, to escape from them I had to become famous." Though she bites Haruto a few moments later, I think she is only feigning her emotional weakness (the crying and doubt), but is really telling the truth when it comes to her rough childhood - as evidenced by the flashback of being beaten.
So yes, it seems Saki had a hard life.
Akira had an easy life compared to Saki.
People call her a bitch but she is only hateful, self-serving, and manipulative because the world forced her to be.
>People call her a bitch but she is only hateful, self-serving, and manipulative because the world forced her to be.
The world didn't force her to be. She joined it by choice because she wasn’t strong enough to stand up to it.
Saki mirrors the Magius in that regard.
She does at least break out of that shell when shown some positivity from others, which makes her better than the lot who formed the Council.
How socially inept are you that you can't even comprehend a relationship cannot be sustained on sharing loneliness? That's what Saki wanted, she projected her loneliness onto Haruto and wanted them to be alone together. That's not healthy.
>her father sold her to the VVV project after she tried to escape from that
That is impossible. You can only get into the vvv project before birth since the zygotes have to be modified.
It isn't hard to imagine why Saki failed to make friends at school.
Boys will only "like" her because they want to fuck her.
The girls will hate her because Saki is blunt, proud, distrustful, gives off the impression that she thinks she's superior to you, and on top of that, steals all the boys' attention from them. This is a recipe for disaster. Girls are already petty and jealous creatures who will hate anyone more beautiful and successful than them, so Saki is like a walking trigger warning.
The manga wasn't written by the people writing the show. And the saki mangachas other inconsistencies as well.
Haruto's father explicitly said that in order to become a space vampire you had to be modified in the zygote stage. Every student on module 77 had been genetically altered before they were born.
That phone call was probably a follow-up confirmation in case parents tried to get out of it after. One of the scientists with Tokishima papa even said he felt tricked.
It should have been L-elf.
Imagine how much bigger the storm would have been.
Imagine how much more money the fujos would have poured in.
Imagine L-elf's grunt when Haruto puts it in.
Not all of them. Here are three that are better.
>there are people on /a/ who think CrossAnge was good/better
The only way I can re-watch this train wreck is with all of you again.
I miss those days.
This image is funny because I remember someone posted it on /pol/ without the extra LOGH and excited gaijin parts as a criticism on the retardedness of democracy back in june 2013
Saki loved Haruto because he gave her freedom and because he was a tortured soul, just like in vampire novels and she wanted to save him
Also while Saki is used to rough sex, Haruto was the first person she fucked who was the same age as her and not a fat old man and thus she enjoyed it more
You mean fun. The story was shit and the characters were idiots but all the wacky shit that the show was premised on turned it into a great watch. Especially when /a/ was there to react to it.
Most of you are faggots and probably from places like /v/ and reddit, but when 4chan is shut down in the next few years or I stop visiting because i have stuff to do anime will be less lustrous than it is now.
I'll definitely remember it in 10 years. It was a cool spring morning on my campus and the cultural festival was setting up in the distance while I was watching anime and reading /a/. I think the cherry blossoms on campus were still in bloom.
>power outage episode
>people bitching about how space isn't cold the way they think the show means it
>completely overlook that it actually concerns itself with a very legitimate issue in space habitation, the problem of heat management in a vacuum
The clever thing being that the modules must've been designed to bleed away heat quite efficiently, since they'd get theirs from a Dyson sphere microstar. Losing the internal generator thus has the module succumb to its own design.
>put a lot of thought into space colony design
>everything else is retarded
That's why this was a great show, they put the effort into the weirdest things and everything else was just half-assed nuttery.
>not wanting to rail Haruto
I think you're the gay one.
