>ship has a winebottle on it
So Big Mom's family is old friends with Sanji's family or something?
Now that I think about it and knowing how Oda works, I'm going to predict that Purin is probably one of those fancy dogs that people raise like children. Sanji is being forced to marry a cute dog and after everything is resolved and he is leaving with the rest of the crew, the dog suddenly changed in a beautiful woman (dog zoan) to wave good-bye and Sanji breaks down and screams he wants to go back while the rest of the crew holds him back.
I hope Sanji's fiance is the cute girl on Big Mom's throne with a third eye.
He deserves someone who is really cute and nice person.
One of a yonkou's top fighters wont die from a few bullets like that. Capone did it to get him out of the way for the time being.
Purin has huge boobs too, I just know Sanji is going crazy about her.
Sanji probably was recognized by his family (a Celestial Dragon). It can't be a common noble, only a Celestial Dragon can influence that much on a bounty. Big Mom found out and well we know the rest.
>that much on a bounty
Why would the WG be unwilling to list him as wanted alive? Sanji hasn't done anything but be a part of the Straw Hats. His bounty isn't even notable by NW standards. He's listed as being born in North Blue which has been depicted as the wealthier of the four blues. I don't see any reason why a prestigious family wouldn't convince the WG that a 177M bounty is worth keeping alive.
Is Charlotte Linlin/Big Mam from Amazon Lily? Seeing as she can only conceive daughters?
So is there any reason why sanji may have his family at all? He never mentioned them at all, and never seemed to miss them.
I expect that his 'love the womans!" attitude came from his family so he still holds his values.
We can also assume they were cooks since he wanted to become a cook even before the incident.
If there wasn't any real problem with his family, I wonder why he never even have them a passing thought. Maybe they were on that ship and he assumed they were all dead?
And were they even looking for Sanji at all? He was gone for like 10 years? And the first thing they'd say to him is "oh hey you're getting married".
Lot to think about.
Sanji in Alabasta and W7/EL arcs understood shit others couldn't. I mean during W7 he knows how Robin is lying from get go and he was serious with Chopper about that. He knows how to detective and stealth around with CP level for some retard reason with no explanation and in both Alabasta and W7 he gets things right. And for some reason "Yeah, guys, I am from north blue and I know this liar books story." and stops the conversation there, he didn't want to talk about his past.
And if you look back, kid Sanji seemed like a rich brat wasting food while cooking, then he learns the hard way like a poor.
And I am still waiting for an explanation for the reason why Nami can navigate that well, predict and hear shit others cant.
>Jinbe will join once Big Mom is defeated or turned ally
I'm okay with this
I feel like out of all the theories, this one makes the most sense
we really never found out about Sanji's background
We knew literally everyone's background except his and Brook's, but brooks probably doesn't really matter unless they discover a treasure that the Rumba pirates buried years before
It's also to stop the Big Mom pirates from targeting them across the New World.
Only when he transforms with his zoan devil fruit powers, he was caught off guard so no time to transform.
When I was a teenager, I hated One Piece! I was a Naruto fanboy till the end and every time anyone mentioned One Piece, I was the first to criticize it. I remember one time I was watching TV and when I switched to Cartoon Network, Adult Swim was on and they were airing One Piece! They were on the skypiea arc. I just looked at it got a "meh" expression and changed the channel. When I turned twenty, I started watching other animes starting with Fairy Tail then Bleach. I kept seeing that One Piece was the number one manga sold, so the curiosity got the best of me and I began watching it. I couldn't been more wrong! It became my favorite! [Arlong park arc spoiler] (The moment Nami breaks down and started stabing herself, then asks Luffy for help was just epic in every sense.) From that scene, I knew I was in for one hell of an epic story. I still have classmates who were like me and criticize it every time they have the chance. I told them that they were going to regret bashing it. I knew two people who were just like me and ended up regretting bashing it too.
Now it's the opposite! Naruto bores me and One Piece has me hooked. Same with HXH, Attack on Titan and OPM! My other favorites, they are really epic too.
While rewatching One Piece I just thought of something, I feel like Arlong's bounty really fails at representing his strenght. Luffy had a hard time beating him, he was really tough. But not too long after that he easily kicked mr3's ass at little garden and mr3 apparently either has a bounty of 42 million as the subtitle said in the anime, or he defeated someone with a bounty of 42 million as said here http://onepiece.wikia.com/wiki/Galdino. However he should be pretty strong. And later after that he wipes the floor with Bellamy, KO-ing him with one punch. Bellamy's bounty was at that time 55 million. Those two are supposedly very strong according to their bounties but Luffy beats them a hundred times easier than Arlong and I don't think Luffy could have gotten that strong so quickly. Then we also have the sun pirates which Arlong was a member of and there he probably did a bunch of stuff. I feel like he should be worth more, he probably couldn't because of where he appeared in the story but still. What are your thoughts? :)
Not that bullshit when he knew that he has responsabilities as the 3rd son and that shit would eventually happen to him. For some reason he wanted to have fun around girls until the point he gets stuck with one girl chosen by his or some superior family.
You wrote all that shit when, if you weren't a speedreader, you'd know he'd been bribing local marines to keep his bounty low. By sticking to Cocoyasi Island, he was intentionally keeping a low profile.
The local Marines just happened to be crooked enough to let it pass. Yes he's a lot stronger than his bounty indicates.
She loves and leaves them because she's none too fond of commitment. There are a distressingly large number of men in the New World who are receptive to her advances. She also has a portion of her crew devoted solely to screening calls from her exes and repelling them from her base when they come-a-knockin-for-some-lovin.
>Sanji meets her
>10/10, Super Perfect all-around
>genuinely falls in love with her
>then it turns out she loves someone else and the marriage will quash that romance
>dejected, but understanding, he antagonizes Big Mom so she'll call off the marriage
>flashes her a sad smile as Big Mom's forces chase him off
Only Oda is allowed to have a functional romance and coupling in and outside of One Piece.
>Actually this was called years ago
Yeah but it was crazy a couple of years ago, now there's actual support in that he's wanted alive by the Government, and Big Mom wanting to marry one of her own to him.
>and its probably wrong.
So, like most theories?
None of the strawhats ever mention their family to each other except when its relevant to whats happening. It's entirely reasonable that Sanji might think about his family without talking about it, or maybe talk about it off-screen.
Snow has a hierarchical relationship with ice.
Ice is just frozen water, Snow is frozen water and air.
Fire is just heat, magma is heat and earth.
2>1 an icicle would do nothing to her snow heart.
>people flipping out over Sanji's last name and Oda references
No, I love Oda, but no. He just drew Sanji smoking and with wine for years and decided to make that his last name, it's not like he was dropping subtle hints.
One of the more recent SBSs actually confirmed the ice fruit as being stronger than the snow fruit.
Although if you're one of the shitposting Monetfags then logic will never work with you.
snow IS ice, they're not different temperatures.
but because snow is tiny, tiny pellets of ice, it loses temperature faster, and thus is easier to melt.
Solid ice block versus snow of similar size isn't issue of density (though they are different densities) it's an issue of structure. Ice blocks are more difficult to break since their crystalline structure runs all the way through them.
Bege's power is that he makes his fodder matter in combat. Add in generally superior weaponry and a combat style that basically makes him a magic cyborg, and he's pretty powerful.
Pekoms, as a long standing loyal member of Big Mom's crew might be able to get away with saying that he fucked up a mission, but Bege can't be sure of the same. She'll destroy kingdoms for not providing sweets to her after all. So Pekoms is riddled with bullets, taking him out of action long enough for Bege to make sure things turn out his way, and then be patched up.
Plus Bege is sort of an asshole, and is probably trying to make himself seem useful to Big Mom.
Makes you wonder what other Logias are superiors to others.
Like would Caribou's devil fruit be superior to Crocodile's? Since mud is sand and water? Would it be around since sand would cause a swamp to dry up?
So, is Pekoms still in Zou? Does he have Big Mom's vivre card? Is that how the Strawhats find Sanji? Or will Nami it be the one Nami has? Is Aanji even with Big Mom? What if he's being escorted to North Blue?
I'm getting a slight "Rescue Ace" vibe here but not in a "hole in my chest and it ain't love" way.
That case might depend on the setting and the user. Crocodile is probably the better user so he might just instantly dry up Caribou.
People say that Caribou's is effective against Fire or Magma cause it takes away tje oxygen or something, so there's that.
So super quickly, Raizou the pseudonym of a Mink, who is hiding in Zou under his original name. During Punk Hazard, when Nami created a lightning bolt, Kinemon called it ninjutsu. This means that Kinemon has an idea of what ninjutsu should look like, and that it looks like electricity. Getting to Zou is difficult since Log Poses won't point there, and you typically need a native to get you there somehow, the three warriors from Wano and Momonosuke fled there with had it as their intended destination. I imagine he's called Raizou (thunder elephant) due to Electro and his homeland.
So the question is, is Raizou a Mink that we've seen yet, or not?
Sanji is a quick thinker, a smooth talker and competent at head games.
We know that Nami, Chopper, Brooke and Momonosuke are all safe, and that Sanji and Caeser escaped. I'd wager that Sanji gave Caeser's heart to one of the Minks, and that he was able to use that as a bargaining chip to pressure Bege into letting his own hostages go.
Wait no, don't do this to me.
Don't make me consider the possibility that we get Pekoms and Jinbe joining in the same arc.
My heart can't take it, and it's utter insanity to consider. Even if Oda said we were getting "consecutive" crewmembers joining...
I was thinking about something. We don't know where Sanji picked up cooking. Maybe he comes from an elite family of chefs. Big Mom is all about the food. Maybe she wants her daughter to marry Sanji for the sake of having an endless supply of gourmet food. We've been shown the extent of what she is willing to do for CANDY. The idea of marriage for food doesn't seem far fetched.
Zeff taught him to be a GOOD cook. Sanji was already a trainee before he met Zeff.
Although even then, Sanji would have high quality training instead of being in some random ship.
>i dont know what eop stands for
Lurk more newfag.
He was on Zeff's ship, yes. That doesn't mean he learned how to cook from Zeff. We don't even know the circumstances of how he ended up there. Since he was already working in the kitchen, that means he had some form of skill to work on a culinary ship.
EOP and dumb.
Why should I spoonfeed you?
Can't you really figure out a simple wordplay in a manga for children?
>Dude I'm fucking American. Why the fuck would I know vin means wine in french?
>500 Million Logia who can cause giant explosions, fire lasers and deoxygenate the space around him gets taken out by a guy with a stick
Ceasar might as well be Nakama, he got depowered like any villain does when they join the good guys.
You see, Vin means Wine and Smoke means Smoke. And that concludes are extensive three week course
>And I am still waiting for an explanation for the reason why Nami can navigate that well, predict and hear shit others cant.
She spent most of her childhood doing it for fishmen pirates, they probably gave her some fish man knowledge accidentally.
It's hard to say, swampnuts won't have crocodisles drying everything up ability but also won't be vulnerable to getting wet.
There's also a good chance crocodile can fly or atleast hover like a sand storm while caribou can store shit inside of himself.
Fishmen live all over the planet, arlong had been to the new world and the grand line. Ten years and thousands of hours spent nagivating got her through the grandline.
Her time spent with the cloud scientists filled her in on the new world.
We're not getting a mink nakama. We already have chopper and he's kind of a mink already. But I do think we're getting a new nakama this arc because we didn't get shit in PH and dressrosa and Jimbei is off being a tard somewhere else
Either something like this or like the Lion Turtles from ATLA.
Sigh, I tried to avoid saying in b4 Ace and Whitebeard just this once and of course I got this reply.
What about all the other characters in the series who should be dead or hinted towards death, yet all ended up as alive? Lucci, Spandam, Bon Clay, Paulie, Igaram, Pell, Moria, Doflamingo, Law, Enel, Wiper etc
I really think that Big Mom will be some sort of an ally. Or at least not an "I will kill you right the fuck now" kind of enemy.
If Lola is also her daughter, then the Strawhats already helped 2 of her crew. Unless she is Jack type of a psychopath she won't just declare war on them.
She can become an ally simply because of the way Japan views women. She could show her feminine 'motherly' side once she knows how the Strawhats helped Lola and Zou, and even Sanjis cooking can impress her. Hell Luffy could even have an eating competition with her and she may find it fun to have someone who can keep up with her appetite.
I'm going to guess that 3 eyed waifu is the brains and common sense part of the Big Moms crew.
Big Mom is probably too busy munching all day, while her 2ns in command is running the day to day crew.
Daily reminder that projectiles shot from inside Capone will grow to normal size after a short distance. Pekom was hit by the equivalent of two full sized gatling guns at point blank range.
Couldn't Caribou technically do the same thing?
The tip of a Canon could protrude from him, it would just fire the canon ball from his swamp dimension.
I'm not sure which one of these I would prefer honestly.
Is Capones crew member with the tongue using fire powers or a lighter? Or am I just over looking? So far this dude seems to be Capones right hand man due to his character design.
what if this is what sanji's other brothers look like
Sanji's family probably has to be pretty relevant or important if they're able to modify the "dead or alive" part of Sanji's poster, no?
Man, I can't wait to see them. Post time-skip Sanji has been mostly shit even if he's still my favourite character. This could totally redeem and evolve him.
Probably third male, since he appears to be part of a noble family and males and females are counted separately.
I could see him having a sister, which could be one of the reasons of his treatment of women.
Who said its on of Big Mom's kids? It could be a sister of hers or a cousin, heck Big Mom could even be the 35th daughter. She could also have been fucked once and got 35 children from it since any thing is possible in One Piece. She could even have a devil fruit related to reproduction...
its kinda weird
riku/vivi all got bullied and nobody cared so sanjis family must be royals that provide something very important for tenryubito, probably food and vine
since sanji is apprentice cheff and talking casually with the others he most likely isnt tenryubito himself
Yeah, Bege is essentially a mobile, human-sized fortress or battleship. And he seems to have another devil fruit user as his second-in-command? Just going by the tongue and large hands that one guy has, anyway.
You're both missing the bigger question. Look at the placement of the icicle. Why would Oda draw it SEPARATE from the heart? And not just like he forgot, this was one week later in the very next chapter. And before you say 'well he pulled the icicle out' then why is it stabbed in the ground? Are you meaning to tell me that Caesar, in his last moments of consciousness, beat so bad he can't sit upright, after using the last of his strength to stab the heart, then somehow got up, pull the heart off the icicle, sat it down again, then stabbed the icicle in the ground hard enough to lodge it in again, and only THEN passed out, all for no discernible reason?
We're talking about the guy that added Kuma in as an easter egg 300 chapters before he showed up in the series. It's as if you're either deliberately baiting, or you really don't get it. When Oda draws bunnies in the ocean that look like Monet's attack, and the SBS isn't talking about them, it's not a translation or editing error that somehow wasn't caught in the 30+ localizations around the world One Piece gets, it was there on purpose. When Chopper gets the note and it isn't explained and the only power-level logical solution is Monet threw the note, that's not just Oda screwing up. When Oda adds in multiple books about eclipses and astronomy and telescopes around her, when his modus operandi for filling in books, as said in SBS, was to just fill in with scribbles and random letters.
No door gets busted and fixed off screen without him having to make a new character from SBS noise. No Devil Fruit user floats on the water without him developing a new substance. So you can bet there have been hundreds and hundreds of letters sent to him about all of this, and his silence speaks volumes: Everything said about Monet is going to come to pass. Nakama? Who knows, but Monet is alive and more complicated than we're being told.
I'm still no entirely sure about big mom having 35 daughters, i mean after all the men are the ones that pass their family names not the woman, so maybe big mom and purin are sisters Linlin would be the first daughter an therefore the oldest while purin would be much younger
I just realized that Sanji's family, if it is indeed noble, has an excuse for not acting earlier and using their influence to get Sanji out of trouble. Sanji's wanted poster used to be incorrect. His recent bounty is the first time he has been properly identified. We can even entertain the possibility that the Vinsmoke family knew about Sanji but publicly denied for political reasons that one of their own had become a pirate. They may be responsible for the bounty sketch that doesn't look like Sanji at all, to make sure he was never identified. The growing reputation of the Strawhat pirates may have forced them to acknowledge Sanji's identity and thus force them to issue an order to repatriate him alive.
>what purpose does she have?
Well golly gee, take your pick.
>a side assistant to explaining and fixing whatever further fallout of Caesar's tech comes into play, especially now that they don't have Caesar
>necessitating the alliance to continue, by offering her knowledge to navigate the two Yonkous breathing down their neck in exchange for a tacit agreement to get closer to finding Dofla for now (as if Jack is 'gone' from a battle off-screen after all we just saw with this flashback, and as if the World Government wants to tell everyone right now they just lost the guy after one day in custody at sea. Dofla's just as fucked right now)
>the best source to understanding why the Giant Kids needed just as much protection as the SAD factory that the alliance was actually after (if it was all the experiments, why let Brownbeard do what he wants?)
>tension for Chopper to have his Fifth arc already (remember, Usopp needed a new character for his progression, and at the time the guy was an antagonist.)
>instant snow days and snow cones for Luffy
>all that astronomy hints and all the bits about how the Moon is relevant to all the past history we've got coming
Right now, what makes sense is they need a way to find Sanji, and they have no leads. But we also have a doctor who gave candy to kids that made them huge, and violent when they didn't get it. And Sanji's being escorted to a marriage of a family lead by a huge woman who loves candy and gets violent when she doesn't have it. Do I have to spell it out? Big Mom's factories are connected to Caesar's Giant Experiment. One Yonkou invests in Zoan tech, the other in making and working with new types of humans, and a war is coming.
>and parents respect their older child more than the younger one
And sometimes the siblings kill each other in order to become the next in line of succession. Sometimes the youngest kill the oldest, sometimes the oldest kills the youngest before it can happen. Sometimes the younger siblings are sent far away until the oldest son ascends to head of the family, and if the oldest dies prematurely then the family send a letter to the next in line to come back home. If Sanji is third in line then it's not abnormal for him to be sent on a boat trip around the world just to get rid of him.
>Can steer the boat
>Didn't even bother learning how to Coup de Burst
>Sanji getting that wrong bounty drawing was actually super important story wise
>Big Mom is a business woman
>Has 35 daughters
>is wedding them to nobles and people in power
Maybe I'm in the wrong but I was getting a pretty big vibe that this is what we're supposed to be getting out of it. It made a lot of sense.
I'd be really disapointed if that were the case, I find her appealing BECAUSE she's monstruous and piratey as fuck. She burns down countries over candy for fuck sake, surely, Oda won't redeem her and she'll remain an enemy.
>1st time sanji's wanted poster introducing duval
>duval leader of flying fish rider who played big part moving the story in shanbody archipelago
>2nd time sanji's poster showing his true face
>the very 1st time the poster said ALIVE
>the noble realize it's sanji, their missing missing son
>sanji forced into political marriage
>the crew need to save sanji from a yonkou
mfw 1 bounty poster moved a plot big time
Capone seems to be the worst kind of wannabe tough guy faggots
He puts up a good act in front of the weakest of the Straw Hats yet his bounty isn't even good enough to be Luffy's second in command.
I do love the fact that among the Supernova only 4 people have higher bounties than Zoro, including his captain. Apoo is only 30m ahead and Hawkins is tied. The others are Luffy, Law and Kidd, which kinda makes sense. Drake is most likely going to have a better bounty as well.
I'm just glad Zoro's bounty doesn't look as shit as it did at Sabaody.
She will forgive Pekoms cause he's a crew member that seems to have some value and he will forgive Capone cause he was doing his damn job. And it was less of a backstab and more of an execution.
I feel that if Capone was the son of Dragon, brother of Ace, and had ties and alliances with hundreds of dangerous criminals and enemies of the government, his bounty might be a tad higher.
Bege is still amongst their number, even if he never lead the pack.
It won't be long in OP until Yonkou start dropping, once that happens the top pirates will be the worst generation.
I wonder if the cliffhanger is another red herring like Duval
Like there is a guy out there named Sanji Vinsmoke but it's not Sanji
The words of the Strawhats make sense now. When Nami said that "he might not return". If the 3-eyed girl is infact Pudding, he might not want to lol
Capone rocks he's very old school Mafia like, and with his army his tacital abilities are on a whole different level from what we've seen so far.
To be fair, it's kinda expected for Luffy, Kidd, Law and Drake's bounty to be above others post-TS. Considering how effective and clean Capone is, his bounty wouldn't go that much since he doesn't make a mess.
I accidentally all of dem royalties fellow anons.
>before the timeskip
How do you function?
he's clearly holding a match. below his visible left hand are the knuckles from his right hand, which are held upwards in a pinching position. they're hidden because he's shielding it from the wind.
>he's shielding it from the wind.
Speedreading is one thing but don't come to these threads if you're literally blind.
Any other Straw Hat versions anyone wants of this image?
Also, I fixed Luffy's wonky hat
Antagonist of Film Gold, Guild Tesoro.
These are his crew.
If the whole place is CG i'll kill myself.
I think it'd be cute if she had some form of culinary interest to compliment Sanji's.
Like he sneaks away from the party to find something to drink that isn't candy or soda and chances upon this mostly abandoned bar. Orders a drink, begins to list off all his troubles and feelings as he waits. The bartender's a pretty good listener, lends a sympathetic ear and talks to him about it. Ends with her serving Sanji his cocktail which the man finds to be rather exceptional and he thanks the bartender as he leaves to return to the horrible, horrible tea party.
Then it turns out that the bartender was Purin.
Jinbe was first shown off at a Jump Festa. Granted it was an on-the-spot quick sketch he did on stage in front of the crowd, and Jinbe showed up in the manga like two weeks later.
>Ideo had thin legs like matchsticks
It kind of annoys me that it's so similar to Vinsmoke Sanji's SW design.
I always liked their exploring outfits from Strong World much better than their suits. Another thing, I liked that all of them got like four costume changes through the film, each looking nice and cool.
Oh me too, it just seems lazy/an oversight that Luffy's new one is practically a recoloured version of Sanji's from a previous movie.
SW Robin will always be my second favourite outfit behind Thriller Bark.
now these are some fuckin shitty reasons anon, there are way more interesting characters alive..
>Implying everybody on the internet are native english speakers
This chapter made Bege go from "least interesting supernova" to "competent badass". I called him fodder dispenser aswell in the past, but he seems the calculating type who knows what he is doing. His design also grew on me a little more, with him basically shooting from his palms, which is always cool. He won't be a final boss, but he will put up a fight, I can feel it.
Everytime I see more of a character I get more hyped recently. Oda is on a roll.
Keep in mind he has big brothers.
>trying to use that as a valid reason
See how far that gets you
The Supernovas are the shit. Oda really went all out from Sabaody to Marineford, shitting out new important characters all around and giving them abilities. Just imagine how many characters he's designed that we know nothing about, or how much he's put into different characters we know little of and their abilites.
Been meaning to ask this for a while, but how do people pronounce Urouge?
I've been pronouncing it like "you're rogue" but with the Rs overlapping.
Or "Oo- rouge" (like the colour)?
Yeah, ever since the Kaidou chapter I realized that he can subvert my expactation, or just fulfill expectations I didn't know I had. I had zero interest in Kaidou before that, now I am looking forward to him like mad. In the same chapter he made Urouge somewhat sympathetic to me. A little later I thought Jack was just a retard, but with his reveal I was, again, completely turned around with him. Just like with Zou. "Ugh, a generic animal island." No, fuck you, it's an ancient elephant with two bad-ass cat and dog rulers.
And now Bege.
I am still torn on Whitebeard Junior and Big Mom (plus her entire crew except Pekom), but now I am sure Oda will convince me otherwise yet again.
Yeah, when the Supernovas first appeared I thought like 80% of them would be filler without any impact on the story that Oda just made up (well, he did) to fill out the group, just generic characters with wacky powers, but now I want more of every single one except maybe Trafalgar, but only because we had so much of him. I still like him a great deal.
I know it is wrong, but
It's my native language that does this to me.
Capone is still the same character wise to me. He's just as cold since back in Sabaody he stabbed an underling with his fork for questioning him. At the time he was also calculating since he decided not to pick a fight with Supernova Bonney and when he heard an Admiral was on his way, Capone was the first to leave the island and completely avoided Kizaru, Sentomaru and the Pacifista.
Though all those portraits of his face and the way he treated Sanji added a whole new level of narcissism to Capone.
Drake or Bonney will end up being the most important of the Supernova. They both have ties with the Marines' overarching story and Drake's been teased constantly in cover story and flashback, etc.
Urouge has barely done anything, he has potential to become much more interesting, though.
Drake was part of the marines, fights with a sword and a four bladed axe, can transform into a fucking T-Rex and joined Kaidou. His motivations are also really mysterious, I can't wait until we see more of him.
It's actually the opposite problem, the reason why the art's so messy and cluttered now is that Oda's upped his workload and his assistants are reduced to error-checking his work and inking and toning. When he's drawing everything, his sense of composition and panelling becomes an afterthought to just getting everything done in a timely manner
Killer is such a shit, he hasn't shown anything, and his bounty barely went up in two years. I bet he's just there because having Zoro be the only non captain Supernova would have made the rest of them seem like jokes.
Also during Skypiea all the way to Enies Lobby, the necks were long as fuck, everyone had necks longer than their heads. Nowadays we have neck mountains on any muscular character where their necks are literally bigger than their heads in every dimension but it still looks better than even normal characters like Luffy being giraffes since it's kept exclusively to musclebound guys.
Speedreader should only be used if it's destroyed the entire argument by not noticing an important detail. If it's something minor like a parallel that was remembered incorrectly that has nothing to do with the argument, then it's not worth the label. Such as mixing up the names of minor guys from Skypeia or something equally unimportant.
Killer got fucking jacked, he's the one whose design changed the most.
I wouldn't underestimate him just because he eased on the mass murder, but that's probably what Oda wants.
In the most recent tour of his workplace it was said that they just look over his drawings for errors and do inking and toning except for colored pages where they do nothing at all. Ten years ago they were in charge of that and drawing everything that doesn't move. But Oda took over that too.
Are you implying that Zoro is a joke? And it didn't matter in the end anyway. Zoro has a higher bounty than Killer and Capone, tied with Hawkins and 30 below Apoo and he's been in the New World for less than a month. He used to be the 2nd last pre-TS.
I'm wondering something about Kaidou. The guy wasn't recognized by Urouge or his crew, didn't look as big on that cloud, has been captured several times and is suicidal. What if his ability involves near death experiences that turn him into the beast he is?
You completely misunderstood, I'm saying that having Luffy's crew have an advantage that big over all of the other Supernova crews, a Supernova crewmate, would have made them all feel like inferior crews. Kid appeared with a Supernova crewmate who had a higher bounty than Zoro and a higher bounty than Luffy, which made us think that he could be even stronger than Luffy. I think that Killer was the only way we would have seen the Supernovas as equals to Luffy and not just a group of rookies.
>Jinbe cutting ties with Big Mom
>Pekoms left bleeding on the floor by his crew. Fate unknown
>A bomb being delivered by Tamago and Capone to the tea party
>To be opened on the day of the wedding
>Which the Strawhats will inevitably crash
Is Oda setting up for a schism between the members of the Big Mom pirates?
So literally how did Shanks stop Kaidou from going to Marineford and wrecking shit up?
Did he tell him: " Did you know there's a sky island 10,000 meters above the ground? How about jumping from there in your next suicide attempt? "
>tfw Sanji looks like he's 15
I actually really like how the characters seem to age throughout the series due to the shift in artstyles, just compare anyone with how they look at Enies Lobby to when they were first introduced, especially the East Blue members
He got a metal arm but his power was making metal arms, that's not that big of a deal.
Killer's clothes show he didn't have guns thicker than his head pre-skip, he fought with acrobatics and agility but now his body type no longer reflects that kind flexibility. I think the change had to go through since he's shown no devil fruit powers he can rely on was definitely more significant than Kidd's.
But we immediately got a reason as to why they had a bigger bounty. Like, in the same chapter. Feels to me as if they wanted some hype characters but realistically couldn't give them bigger bounties. The Strawhats have upsetted the World balance twice and waged war on the entire WG and was "responsible" of Enies Lobby's destruction.
Kidd and Law were set up as kind of rivals but I feel like the bounties was there just because.
>mfw Luffy awakens his fruit and makes Zoro's swords rubber temperorily to fight against Kidd.
>swords are still tough as shit cause magic, I guess
It's a rare blood type. Nobles inbred, so they all should have similar blood that is not that common among plebeians. Also there is that thing about 0 negative lacking some D thingies or something, so D. being the natural enemy of the celestial dragons would be within their genes.
That was in some pretty convoluted and farfetched theory on youtube though that I won't bother looking up again.
That long haired girl looks western as fuck. Nice design, she has a distinct feel from the rest of the OP girls. I get the feeling Oda based her on some merican celeb strutting red carpets, maybe Nicole Kidman, I don't know.
Too bad the other one is just short haired Nami. Nice dress and nice haircut, but that's just not enough.
Drake pussied out off the marines, his t-rex form is near useless, became a yoncuck
>His motivations are also really mysterious
His motivations are that he has big trust issues because nobody lives up to his perceptions of loyalty except his crew
and Luffy, because he'll betray Kaido for Luffy
I noticed gear 4 didn't do much to the legs, but it did give geppou/soru along with extra stronk.
Is bounceman just a version of gear 4?
I think it's safe to say there are more. Otherwise there'd be no point in naming Boundman, Gear 2nd and 3rd don't have subtitles. It's also much more specific as an ability compared to the other Gears, so he could have other forms while conserving the inflated muscles as a base.
>mfw Drake fights Zoro and realises how loyal the Strawhats are decides to join the fleet
Of course, he even mentioned how he would have went all out with a canon but theres too many natives around that would kill him. My only question is where ARE the minks? Were they not all over the place there? Even if I'm mistaken surely they heard that gunshot
Pekoms is based as fuck, shame to see him get stabbed in the back by pussyass capone
I bet he'll be a complete autist who can only talk about science and can only see ways to experiment in every situation and character. He'll probably be really interersted in Chopper's Rumble Balls, Franky's body and Brook as a way to find immortality.
I'd say around the 450~600m. I don't think Drake has done enough to warrant an almost 500m increase over 2 years. He doesn't seem like the violent type despite his fruit.
But we can only speculate.
He's Kaido's subordinate now, and I believe he's a calamity of the crew. While he may not be as savage/ruthless as Jack, being a calamity (and a bit weaker I guess), he could still earn a 600-800m bounty in that time.
Dear God. All this time I thought she was lying in the Sleeping Lion posture
And Capone is Big Mom's subordinate but he has a lower bounty than Zoro.
I'm sure Drake's bounty is going to be impressive but like I said, 500m over 2 years is ridiculous. Just because Kaido or Jack is crazy doesn't mean Drake is. He seemed pretty chilled out when we last saw him. And he took out Catibou in seconds instead of causing a scene.
I think it's fair to assume that Sanji walked by himself to greet the two intruders while telling the Minks "I'll deal with this, whatever happens don't interfere". Sanji knows that Big Mom is a big deal. They'll have a huge problem on their head if the Mink people starts fighting with Big Mom's envoy. He probably wants to diffuse the situation with no fighting.
You're right. My reading comprehension sucks. Sorry, anon.
Eh, looks can be decieving. We have literally no idea as to what he can do. And admittedly, he may have just burned down the Island with a whole fleet. It's just what I see some people post.
That's my point. If he's a calamity of Kaido, then he is one of the biggest threats out there at the moment. He may not act the same way as the others, but quick and precise completion of tasks may be his forte, hence why he'd still have his bounty considerably lower than the genociding county-destroying Jack.
Both the trex and mammoth forms are useless yes, because they are based on big heavy animals.
Drake couldn't handle a pacifista at all in that form, while jack was forced to go back to his HUMAN form to fight the dukes ffs.
Even inuarashi blocked his trunk hit like it wasn't hot shit.
It seems zoan fruits only work when you go hybrid, or are mythical to begin wiht.
At least cp9 figured it out.
It's not confirmed so far. The odds are in that direction for a few reasons. She was preemptively shown, she's sitting on a throne next to Big Mom and she's the only person of interest on that ship who's name we don't know. I wonder if she's the last daughter that Big Mom never managed to marry because of her unusual features.
He schooled the pacifista in his dino form and human form.
We all know that the hybrid form is the best. Oda is just keeping them for later i guess. But Marco did use his fruit like no one else he's only one who did morph only part of his body.
Here's a closeup pic from my copy. I wanted to see what the flag looked like.
And now post the following 2 pages where he fucked up, got hit and has to recover from the wound.
Even then he had proven that he was strong enough in his human form to knock the pacifista the fuck back.
Full zoan is shit.
>I called him fodder dispenser aswell in the past, but he seems the calculating type who knows what he is doing
That's why you should refrain from doing that when barely nothing is known about a character.
It went through his shoulder and then once he was back as a human he showed no real pain or impairment.
What if Sanji is offered a choice about which daughter to marry?
It went through his right side, he even holds his hand there in human form while sweating.
I'm not denying that. I'm saying we still wouldn't have eealised he could materialise within himself. From looking at that page, Capone could have been eating inside the ship and just walked out. There is no indication that he is inside himself. We only have that idea because of what we know now.
