That fucking OP, so good.
Pleasantly surprised with the direction and pacing this episode. Rest of the anime should be an amazing ride.
What episode will end on this?
I can't wait for the shitstorm when this scene comes up.
>Still killing it.
This is a fucking old-ass song dude.
I'm not a fan of theirs so I don't really know much of them apart from the OP they did for Tatami Galzy but thanks for the tip I'll look up the song
I agree. I thought his voice would be much younger and softer. Kind of like Akira Ishida (the sensei from Mawaru Penguindrum) or the guy who voices the sensei from Haruchika right now.
Bitches love birthday invitations. How wet?
Not really, I was happy at their reunion.
This episode had a lot of good scenes.
I hope the apparent success of the anime causes a fervor for the scan groups, there's one more chapter from volume 6 and a whole other volume released.
i really need to learn to speak rune
>ever not being huge pieces of shit
Just forget about it ever getting more translations. Maybe if we're lucky some people from these threads will translate the last chapters in March.
It hit me pretty hard in the manga. Especially since the Mum and Airi were given much more development by then.
I'm glad the anime is adapting these scenes pretty.
>You're 29 years old. Why are you embarrassed.
Story really isn't about him or the mystery surrounding him anyway, the why behind that character is perfectly reasonable. He's a fucked up asshole is enough. The focus is the other people.
Yeah it was a great episode, and the OP was great too. How long is this series going to be? I saw someone in a thread say that the manga is close to finishing, are they gonna animate all of ti? This part in the OP made me think of the
almost drowning induced comaand it seems like that would take more than one cour to get to.
This, he never saw Kayo as a possible romantic interest.
>This much denial over the cucking
I agree that Airi is a better girl and he actually moves on to realize how important to him she is in the following chapters, but how the fuck can you guys deny that he liked Kayo when they were kids.
By the way, Hiromi is the father, and she has his last name, the NTR is real
Some with people can't deal with something like 5cm/sec so spare them, anon.
Joking aside, I don't think he will end up with Airi though, their relationship lean toward platonic rather than a romantic one.
He has some backstory to explain it. I mean, in the end he seems to be a normal sociopath, but if anyone was "evil just because" it was just his brother. He's more of an indifferent person who acquired some unpleasant tendencies due to his circumstances.
That said I felt his backstory was completely unnecessary. He's not really a character that needed to be expanded upon.
Unfortunately that scene was done much better in the manga. We seem him fail to save his mom in the manga before he is framed, then in his complete panic he wants to go back far enough to be able to save her. That second part was covered a bit this episode but the buildup to the mother's death wasn't.
Still, good shit. The Kayo suffering is probably going to be great, as will his
return trip to the present and coma. The directing for this series is spot-on.
Actually, he spends a few chapters wanting to meet her,
but when he sees her wandering around happy he decides not to, because he doesn't want to put her in danger.
I'd say his feelings could be very well romantic, I doubt she will have any of those towards him though, considering how he has only met her once in the hospital in this new timeline.
Maybe he will take that loss as the price he has to pay to make justice.
but when he sees her wandering around happy he decides not to, because he doesn't want to put her in danger. That's the last we saw of Airi and like you said she probably doesn't even give a shit about him in this timeline, but IIRC this is the year 2005, a year before they started working together in the pizzeria, so they might meet again.
So how does Satoru's underdeveloped child brain hold his adult consciousness, intellect, and memories?
And what would happen if he revived into the future from his normal present time? Would he cease to exist?
I hope that if he meets her, at least it's after everything's over.
In any case, I think he had great chemistry with Kayo, and it's a shame the author wasted that, even if it's more realistic.
Most of us wanted that, even the ones in huge denial. But it's been a while already and at this point I just want Satoru to have a happy ending, even if it's hard to call it that because of how he lost 15 years of his life.
He actually likes Airi though. They get mad development in the manga.
I hope so.
but I wasn't as mad when I found out she had moved on. It was a primary school crush and that wasn't his main goal. Cute as fuck though.
He does like Airi (and it's more prominent in the untranslated chapters) but he obviously has liked Kayo ever since he went back to the past.
In any case, the NTR was shocking, but I wasn't that mad either, probably because I read the spoiler here beforehand. I thought people were exaggerating before getting to it, but then it really did hit me.
It's realistic that she moved on, but I think the author really wasted their relationship, even more considering neither her nor Hiromi even appear anymore in the manga.
I can't say I like neither of them more than the other.
We already knows in ch.35 that it's her and Hiromi's kid and they're officially married. There's no reason for her to lie either.
I know and Airi friend zoned him, poor dude.
Huh? I'm reading the raws and while she's obviously important to Satoru, being the only person he trusted, and someone he obviously liked, she's not relevant to the murders at all.
And in fact, Satoru decided to not meet her again this timeline, to not make her suffer. That's true love right there, like some butterfly effect kind of shit.
>she'll dump him a couple years from now
We don't know it and maybe we'll never know because the story choose the realistic route.
>Kayo probably waited 14 years for him.
And we all knows she did not, mate.
What did you think Satoru wrote?
She didn't friendzone him then,
unless you're referring to the raws. Please no. ;_;
I wasn't definitely saying he didn't like Kayo. If he didn't get into a coma, I would have liked for them to be together.
Whilst Kayo did have more development, Satoru definitely had chemistry with Airi. That's both before his mum's murder and on the run. The manga elaborates on this much further.
Raws are up until chapter 42.
Some of the spoiler tags are from the raws, at least mine, since I don't mind spoiling animefags that have not read the translated chapters, but I won't do it with people who can't read moonrunes.
I don't really mind the spoilers, if the show is good enough it can still hold up well even with most things revealed. Besides, if I really wanted everything to be a surprise I wouldn't be in the threads in the first place.
Dunno, maybe if the author gave Satoru a good end, someone might pick it up and by good end I mean
the author not kill him off or put him in another coma...the shot from from OP-ED scare me, really. Hoping him to activate revival and uncuck himself or him end up with Airi is kinda hopeless.
Is there really NTR in this?
My biggest trigger is getting emotionally invested into an anime/manga only to experience extreme NTR out of nowhere. It infuriates and upsets me.
Please tell me there is no NTR, or I will be forced to drop this show, I'm sorry /a/.
Naw, he already spent so many chapters on this timeline there's no way he's going to have another revival to undo everything from the start.
Satoru is stuck with his mom and the new loli.
This, minus the cuckolding because in that scenario the man is aware.
It's basically catching your waifu with another guy and she spills the beans that she's always loved him and his big cock and you were nothing.
In all seriousness, Yuuki's a pretty nice lad.
teacher framing the poor bugger.
Technically, it's not NTR. Anyway,if you hate the show that MC and main girl did not end up together then you might better drop it.
Reminder that this show is not romance but mystery show so the meat is mystery not the romance.
Nah, cuckolding can still be NTR
NTR is about having someone stolen away from you
you can still technically be in a relationship with someone who is NTRing you
It's not about being in a relationship, it's about them losing their affection for you because others are much better
Hell, NTR doesn't even have to always be about sex
There is, but not because the author was mean spirited or something, he just decided to take a more realistic route on
time skips. It's honestly not really treated as NTR by Satoru, it's more shocking on a reader level.
In any case, he does come to like both Kayo and Airi during the story, so it isn't like he's out of choices.
Or at least that was the case until he decided to not meet Airi in the new timeline.
Netorare is just the japanese translation of cuckolding, there is no actual distinction between them, it's just some misconception some people in /a/ have. It's NTR/cuckolding either if the man knows or not about the cheating.
Airi has a lot of important scenes for Satoru (and she is an important person to him), but Kayo gets most of the screen time, and she's pretty important too.
I'd say Airi and his mother get the most important scenes with him, but Kayo has a lot of romantic development.
Why is he so fucking cool?
That's why I said it's hopeless to wish for that kind of scenario. Just wish him to live and have a comfy life with his hot mom in the end.
...Both. Also, don't cry, anon.
The first episode skipped a lot of her scenes, but she also appears later when he relapses back into his time period.,
and then after he comes back from a coma in the alternate timeline..
I'm loving everything about this anime so far. The visuals, animation, pacing, music, faithfulness to the original source. This is definitely shaping up to be my AOTS. Anime Hinazuki a cute too.
>It's way overblown on /a/
Trust me, my friend, it's not only /a/ but the meme is strong here as usual.
>I wouldn't even call it NTR at all.
It's one kind of NTR so it's not wrong to called it as one but it's kinda 'soft' one as MC's cool with it, not so soft for some reader though.
I'm just glad Satoru
saved his mum, Kayo, Hiromi, Misato and Yuuki are bonuses.
She's pretty hot, I hope she gets porn.
No, OP is good for hyping up.
ED is good for closing up.
It's Sayuri I think, she's great. Ranpo Kitan ED.
>It's one kind of NTR so it's not wrong to called it as one but it's kinda 'soft' one as MC's cool with it, not so soft for some reader though.
No it's not NTR, just because in your headcanon they were a thing or something it doesn't mean it's NTR.
Just because there's one male and female in a series doesn't mean they're going to become a couple and you're to blame if you think they will and they end up not being one.
I think, from what people have said, is that during this revival, he falls into a 15 year coma, and when he wakes up, he finds that the loli he was trying to save had a kid with some other fuck. The MC is okay with it, apparently.
Who cares honestly, a few years ago this would have just been a given good show in a season, it's because anime has been such absolute derivative shit for the last couple years that it has a cakewalk to top tier status in a slow winter season.
>Just because there's one male and female in a series doesn't mean they're going to become a couple and you're to blame if you think they will and they end up not being one.
Are you a fucking idiot? Kayo had tons of romantic development with Satoru, just because the author decided on a realistic take on the time skip it doesn't mean he didn't lead the readers to think about them as an item, there is no headcanon about it, unless you're in complete denial.
Satoru doesn't care because he's just happy to be back and that everyone's safe, but it's still a shock to any reader unless you read spoilers before getting to it, it's definitely NTR on a reader level.
And it likely had a huge backslash, as neither Kayo nor Hiromi have appeared post-coma after the reveal, even though they were pretty relevant as kids.
This is not even talking about Airi, who also had a lot of development with Satoru, and we've yet to see if something will come out of that at the end, considering what happens in the untranslated chapters.
Why not? Honestly I think the show is alright but the way people are absolutely losing their fucking shit over it has me puzzled. Must be that patented A-1 brainwashing at play again. I mean they convinced people that Your Lie in April was this absolute masterpiece too. They've even got /a/ that fucking hands everything out of their hands now too.
can you read the thread?
it's not some other fuck, it's Hiromi, another of Satoru's friends.
MC is okay about it because he's just so happy to see that she's safe and had a fulfilling life.
Blame Funimation for being retarded. Well technically this is licensed by Aniplex, but, well, this shit is confusing as hell. Who was the one responsible for the English title?
He definitely likes her romantically during the children arcs.
He's just happy that she could move on with her life, it's weird that he doesn't comment on it, but I guess such a great happiness do overcomes any hard feelings he could've had.
Just read the thread, I've posted way too many times discussing the NTR and it wasn't in any uncertain terms.
In any case, don't let it put you off, it's not relevant to the story (the character isn't affected by it at all) and the plot itself is pretty good, and has great characters too.
I kind of agree with you about this show, it think it's alright, not even my favorite of the season (yet).
But I don't think the year or season matter at all, I think the reaction would have been the same 10 years ago, for example.
That's what I'm saying, the west is stupid. The guy who decided on the english name should get
Even worse, hiromi was in the "inner circle" with satoru, so he knows how much satoru wanted to save hinadzuki, and then he cucks him.
Go ahead, learn rune. Once you do, for every single manga you love, the only thing you'll be able to find of them are the chinese scans, and there will be no raws available.
pic fucking related.
It's understandable, Kayo is pretty attractive and he took 15 years to wake up, which is more than half of their lives, childhood crushes don't last that long, even if Satoru was (And still is, going by the raws) really important to her.
He probably fell for her, confessed, and Kayo probably needed the emotional support.
So i'm just reading the manga.
Why did the anime make it seem like he just wanted to save Kayo and that he only regretted that? He seemed more shocked about this than Kayo.
Have you even read the manga? He obviously likes Kayo in a romantic way as a kid, and Airi as an adult.
I don't understand the denial over it, Satoru didn't make a huge deal out of it, but there is no reason to deny the romantic developments during the story either.
>MC's seiyuu sounds like he's reading a script.
WOW, the dude faking a persona sounds like he's reading a script!
Because Kayo's situation and personality resonate much more with him, plus he has kind of a crush on her, so obviously he cares more about saving her.
Hiromi is a close friend (at least in the altered timeline), but that line you're pointing out is more to show Satoru's sense of justice and how he tends to regret his past actions instead of moving forward (reflected in his time leaps), it's also the reason why he saves anyone he can even though he finds it annoying. That line could've been about anyone, it's just that he did have a chance to save Hiromi.
>Hot mom worried her beta son might end up forever vigin.
>Son said don't turn every female into potential marriage partner for me.
>Son end up forever alone in the end
Top fucking Kek.
2006 no longer exists. ;_; Least mum is alive. Best woman.
It was discussed many times in the thread.
It's the most realistic development considering the time skip, but you can't expect readers to not be shocked after many chapters of Kayo acting as the main love interest, even if it's in a cute childish way and romance not being the focus of the plot.
MC doesn't feel bad because honestly it's kind of understandable that everyone has moved on with their lives in 15 years, and he's happy she has a family now.
Does he just kill children or does he rape/torture/etc beforehand? He killed Hinazuki originally by freezing her to death right?
Did Misato actually steal/frame the money? Also, she's pretty cute, would like to see her adult self.
Tell me about Satoru. Why do his words keep slipping?
>and boku dake manga isn't very actually very good.
Except it is, especially when compared to your dramafest cliche in april.
>It's popular so /a/ hates it!
meme needs to die, /a/ likes FMA , /a/ likes Monster, /a/ likes Eva.
Those are all incredibly popular things /a/ likes.
What a pedo.
I just caught up with the manga. This fucking cliffhanger. I almost wish I picked it up at a later date instead of today just so that by then there would be more chapters available. Next chapter translation fucking when?
oh I know what you mean
can't wait for this scene
I never go into an /a/ thread about an anime without reading all the source material first because you fucks spoiled akame ga kill for me and I learned a very harsh lesson.
This is a perfect topic to bring up this question.
Assume you're been forced to save people because failure means repeating the moment. Do you not find it unfair that some higher power is using your body just to guarantee others' lives? Not saving people is just as important a choice. Why would you allow yourself to be nature's bitch?
Maybe he wants to value the timeline of being ignorant of her the first time around, which led to her getting killed.
To deny your past is to devalue your current self in all its beauty and ugliness.
>read the manga
This just went from a solid series to fucking dropped. I will never recover.
Why are people saying the manga was dropped? It's been 3 weeks since the last chapter, but it was released more than a month after chapter 33, maybe the group is just slow? Hopefully they'll pick up the pace now that the anime is airing.
Might as well call him a pedo then again that Loli was his friend. This manga is weird for the romance part because MC's a fricking 30 years old dude that develop a romance relationship with a teenager and a Loli.
I actually think it's just platonic at first but it's not and it's weird as fuck.
I'm not saying it is always good or always bad. A detail is made in a story to be used in some form, which also includes the possibility of never being used at all (a red herring). Choosing to not save someone has its own desirable outcomes, like a serial killer who admits that he would keep killing or a king whose death will save his subjects.
The truth is what you decide to make true, but would you accept the results even at the cost of your own self?
I'm pretty sure he likes Airi, he has wanted to fix the past and go back to his time to meet her again.
Kayo was never meant to be and I definetely don't think he ever liked her in a romantical way.
>develop a romance relationship with a teenager
That didn't happen, only his mom think that he is going after Airi.
You wouldn't leave your co worker out to dry to be framed by the police right?
>Literally his last thoughts/words before dying
Yeah on the plus side, there's still Airi. I already settled with
>Well of course she'd move on after that long
However, does he even still know her? Can someone spoil me on how they ever meet again?
Let's say a romance feeling then. Honestly, MC act like he's early 20 rather than a 30 yrs old, it would be more appropriate if the author set his age around 22-24.
They have no way of fucking it up. The only problems would be rushing but they've been doing perfectly so far even when rushing. The pacing feels good, this is mainly a mystery so there's a lot of words and still moments that can be adapted into a couple minutes, like Hajime no Ippo that can go 50 chapters with a fight but can easily get adapted into 4 episodes(that's an exaggeration but you get the point).
It won't be the manga but it's not supposed to. People that want the full experience will buy the already released volumes thanks to the anime.
Back when Moot was debating whether to implement them, I argued with him against it to no avail. This place must never turn into something like gamefaqs garbage forum, so people will just have to deal with spoilers.
Of course, long ago, the mods were in on it too and would have fun adjusting the front page with the biggest spoiler from whatever was the most popular airing show on the week it happened.
He's 28 and she's almost 18. 10 years, big deal.
Found the book "Minus Zero" in his room!
It's a Japanese famous sci-fi novel by Tadashi Hirose.
This novel is said to be the masterpiece of time travel genre. Countless Japanese fictions have been inspired by it, including Madoka, Steins gate, etc. But none ever surpassed the genius of this original novel. It's a really well done story.
The age gap is one thing, the thing that's weird is 30yrs old man falling in love with high school girl and elementary school kid and to top it that said 30yrs old man act as if he's a teenager himself.
He didn't fall for Kayo, ever. He just felt really awkward and he mentions even his brain goes back to being a kid when he's.. a kid.
And falling for a 17-18 y/o girl is not weird at all. And he's a mangaka so of course he's a manchild
not to mention that Airi is pretty much the only person that believes him and tries to help him
even after her fucking house got burned to the ground and she almost got killed in it
>Really liked the first episode
>Looking forward to the second one
>Series is ruined because it's been made clear that
Kenya did it.
Such a disappointment as was really digging it up until that.
Your face when?
Fucking Kenya, too fucking good.
Does not make much different.
>He didn't fall for Kayo, ever. He just felt really awkward and he mentions even his brain goes back to being a kid when he's.. a kid.
The first part is up to you but the latter part is not true at all.
>And falling for a 17-18 y/o girl is not weird at all. And he's a mangaka so of course he's a manchild
So, maybe it's just me then but it's hard to find a man that age to have a serious crush on a highschool girl.
you know what he already said his good byes to both so the manga should just end with Him and his mom.
No matter what people say age gaps does matter. Anon would be crazy to let their high school daughter date a man near 30! Who still works at a fucking pizza shop. As for kayo, to say MC didn't like her he was just nervous or just agreed she was his girlfriend because he was going with it is crazy also. The author did that on purpose by letting them build up a relationship like that to just shoot it down. But just like with airi he said his good byes and she has a kid so nothing can be done about that.
>but the latter part is not true at all.
He literally says
>It seems even my brain goes back to being a kid
He gets flustered and shit.
>So, maybe it's just me then but it's hard to find a man that age to have a serious crush on a highschool girl.
Why is it hard? And you talk like her perving on her because she's on highschool, you're retarded. He clearly likes her because of who she is and how he can trust her.
He doesn't work in a Pizza shop. And they could still meet again after everything's done.
Still this manga isn't about romance stop trying to bring it up as an actual theme when it's not.
Also pic related
Her mom seemed okay with her going after him. Have you read the fucking manga?
Also stop being fucking retarded, 10 years is literally nothing and you can find several couples with that age gap.
You keep bringing the
Shit like it fucking matters, IT DOESN'T you shitface. He never creeps on her because she's a highschooler.
I said, it's hard to FIND in real life, buddy. In this story, I find it weird but fine with it.
Just ask if anyone think like me,No.? Fine, we just have different opinion and that's all.
How the fuck not, it's obvious he like the girl.
Well of course now he's just a man who's waking up from a coma. And yeah them meeting again and becoming a couple is unlikely, yeah that could happen but then he also could end up looping one more time and changing the past to where the kid with kayo is his
>love not being a theme
Have we read the same manga? Beside the mystery all the manga talks about is his different relationship with other people. And shows about how he liked airi and kayo. Plus if you read I said to just drop the romance and let him be by himself with his mom. You're the one pushing on how he still has a chance with airi
Well anon that honestly makes her a bad mother for not caring that her daughter would be dating a failure. Hell at least if you let your daughter date someone older at least make sure he has a future ahead of him.
>being a high schooler doesn't matter
Well shit anon go tell all the judges to go free all the teachers who get caught sleeping with their students because sure they also aren't just creeping with them since they're high schoolers.
Don't worry anon they're letting the fact that he's the MC blind their judgement. Since he's the MC it's ok that he's a bum and literally has nothing to his name yet Lust after a minor.
I dunno, Airi's mum seems like a pretty cool person who'd let her daughter do what she wants.
Teacher - student relations are frown upon because it's a position of authority. Satoru's not a teacher, once she's 18 she's free to do whatever.
But I digress, Satoru will probably find a new way in life now.
>Well shit anon go tell all the judges to go free all the teachers who get caught sleeping with their students because sure they also aren't just creeping with them since they're high schoolers.
Is he her teacher? No. Those faggots go to jail because they're in a position of power.
Is it legal in Japan to date a 17 y/o?. Yes
Just because you like in burgestan where you can only fuck 30+ y/o landwhales don't try to force it everywhere else, 15 is pretty much the most basic age all over the world.
Ok once the student is 18 it's also alright for a teacher to sleep with her student. Frowned upon yes, illegal no. People generally frowns upon couples with that big of a age gap at that age just for the fact, she's a girl who can barely take care of her own self still living at home and you're a grown adult yet still can't find a girl your age. Literally he's about to be 30 and couldn't get one girl. And still hasn't, but fell for a highschooler because she showed him some attention and was nice. That's creepy all the way.
H>>136153845 I never said he was but you said that 10 years isn't that big of a gap. Which it is, and you said it was okay since he wasn't after her because she was a highschooler. And I'm saying I'm sure a lot of those teacher don't just go after their students because they're highschooler.
But I see anon you're the type who would probably sleep with a young 15 year old or highschooler and that's why you're trying to defend it so much. So you know what I'll be the bigger person here and just tell you now that I'm ending the argument with you. Your way of thinking is crazy definitely if you would let your daughter date a bum like that. So good night to you sir
>already got spoiled
>reading through the manga anyways because fuck it
>all those moments when it hints you about the actual kidnapper
it's like it knows that I know who the culprit is and it's fucking teasing me
>Ok once the student is 18 it's also alright for a teacher to sleep with her student
So you're baiting?
I won't read your wall of text, just telling you your teacher example doesn't work because Teachers are in a position of power, if a teacher fucks a student he gets in trouble because of their relationship as teacher/student. There's a reason you can get fired if you're teach in college and fuck 20 y/o college girls, age has nothing to do with it.
So fuck off shitposter, your bait is stale.
>After the candy accident i thoug "no, no way he can be a killer. Too obvious. Author is trying to point us astray"
Well if you hadn't been spoiled you would think that way and let it go probably.
>forcing a 14 year old to marry a 40 makes it ok for a near 30 year old who delivers pizza to date a almost 18
You do realize that what was once acceptable back then may not be now ? a 40 year old marrying a 14 year old would be highly looked down upon now. We're not talking about back in the old fucking times where before kids use to be able to smoke at schools, whites use to call blacks nigger, and the age limit for drinking was almost non existent. This is the present time where all of that shit is looked down on. Hell you could go find a time where you could snort coke in Public and probably get away with it but not now, what older generation did some has changed.
>People generally frowns upon couples with that big of a age gap
Except people don't pretty much anywhere? My dad is 8 years older than my mother and they're ok. And definetely not in JAPAN where this manga is situated.
Where do you live?
And stop repeating 30, he's 28, 28 is the average age doctors leave med school to say an example, he's fairly young.
>and if he is rich no one fucking dare to talk how he is a pedo
because they know what pedophilia means. if people were to talk about him being pedo, that wouldn't make any sense. most people would say it's fucking creepy and that the girl is a golddigger and that's it
I live right here in the states. And age gaps only stop mattering after a certain age, but while they are in highschool it is looked down upon. Ok and 28 is fairly young when you're a doctor but to be delivering pizza at that age, a bum is what you call a grown man like that. And then add on he's going after a 17 year old makes it worst.
I bet you anyone who would see that couple would ask why? Hell look at Hugh Hefner, he's a old ass millionaire surrounded by girls and people understand why. He's a millionaire and all of those girls are gold digging hoes, but you can still believe they are always thinking about how big the age gap is and creepy it up must be definitely when they're having sex
no matter how many times they've been told they're wrong, they still say he's 30
and I've already said that my friend's parents did the same thing. From what I got he was around 30 when he got with her mother who was supposedly still in hs, so 17 maybe.
They're still married, have 3 kids, the guy's as old as my grandma probably
I don't want to fuck a 14 year old, nor was that the point
>looked down upon
and it's still legal(I mean a 28yo getting with an 18yo), if it was such a big deal then it probably wouldn't be legal.
I don't understand why you people try so hard to let others know they're "not living their life correctly"
Mum of the season, no year.
Where did I ever say it was illegal? And just because something something is legal doesn't mean it isn't bad. The government knows what drinking and smoking cig does to a human yet still allows it. Hell its legal to marry your second cousin and maybe even your first cousin in some states. So just because they haven't made it illegal doesn't mean it isn't bad. But still the law wasn't my point, it's just culture taboo, things that are looked down upon and that's one of them.
You can say people are ok with it but Look how the media and everyone else treated Tyga for dating what's is it Kendall while she was 17, then they had a problem when he was talking to the one girl who's what 15 and he's 26.
So no ones telling you your living your life wrong, but to be 28, not in college and doesn't seem to have any plans to go, living pay check to pay check from a pizza shop, and living in a one bed room apt is sad. The. You're going to go for a 17 year old makes it worst
and what are you going to do about it? Other than whine about it on here and facebook?
How does this affect your life?
The only reason why I'm replying to these posts is because of your needlessly aggressive attitude towards this subject
End of mystery.
If only the short film-induced 2:1 bits didn't fuck up with the black bar detection.
No one whining it's just the truth. All I said was, he said bye to both females and it should stay that way then you all wanted to argue with me on how it's not creepy or weird that he's in live with a 17 year old.
Hnnngh. My heart.
I like to think the people who read the manga up to this point had put forth such a strong empathy with the MC that they themselves felt a little betrayed that Kayo went with another guy and screamed "NTR! NTR!"
I mean, the guy practically busted his balls to save all these people and he gets shat on every single time, I'm sure some readers would feel certain thoughts like "he deserves dat pussy, look at all the shit he's been through"
Realistically, though, to expect someone to remain faithful for 15 years (reminder that the two has never once even confessed) is a serious stretch. Kayo might have revered MC as a hero, and possibly held a crush on him but that's about it.
Agree with this post. I mean I both respect and in a way admire that the mangaka had the determination to do what he did. But I would be fucking lying if I didn´t wish for the MC to end up with Kayo. Weird as hell, never felt this torn about something likes this. Let´s just hope the MC gets a happy ending.
Uh, I think the question is do any of you both that called it NTR and one that called it as not NTR really understand the term and the meaning of this word, it has a different meaning from cuck which is not this case at all. And, my impression is both group really don't know how to use it but pretend to knows how.
And for those who said MC, Kayo and Airi has no romance feeling between them, I also have to ask, Are you really read the manga or just in denied?
You knows, it's like people seems so obsesses with the romance plot or in denied that they miss the point of message the author try to convey... Even if he kinda fail to hit the spot but it's there.
man you guys are worse than LNfags,
I pity the anime-only fags getting spoiled like this. It's their fault but at least give them a warning tag for the first week so they know to stay the fuck away.
seems like the best part of the anime is how cute Kayo turned out to be
oh god help, it's so cute
I know that translation this way is stupid, but how
boku = I, me
dake= just, only
inai = inside of, less than, within
machi = city
became "erased"? Is the translation really just Erased?
>/a/ really freak out about Sayo and Airi
>/a/ still want MC to hook up with them.
It's done, deal with it, /a/. Their relationship was basically this
Shinkai Makoto 5cm/second
>/a/ want Satoru to get a good end
Satoru = 100%Ded
>inai = inside of, less than, within
i thought inai means "not" "not there" or something like that. so basically "the city without me"
in pic related kayo basically did a title drop, except that she said watashi instead of boku, which is used for males.
>their only picture of her is her frowning and averting eye contact
I feel bad for laughing
You guys do realize that your discussion is pointless right? Age of consent in Japan is 13 and marrying age is 16.
He could've fucked Airi and it would've been alright aside from the social stigma.
I agree with you, he accepted that Kayo moved on and now he let Airi go to not make trouble for her. I'm still baffled at all the denial people have about Satoru's feelings though.
Avoid self-inserting next time and you won't have to be in denial the whole time.
Anyone feel the actual plot is a tad underwhelming in this show? I admit the production values and cinematography is nice. But the actual plot feels a little weak. And the time repeat feels like that one arc in God Only Knows
He obviously held romantic feelings for her though.
You gotta understand, readers obviously would feel betrayed after reading plenty of romantic setup only for the twist being a time skip and her ending up with Hiromi.
He could've if it wasn't for the coma.
Cross-media promotion happens occasionally. A recent one is Parasyte. Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso kind of counts since it had a live-action announced after the anime ended.
If you promote with an anime and movie the chance for success is higher I assume. And judging from Shigatsu / BokuMachi the direction / production seems to be on point too.
All of those aspects mentioned are just kind of okay. I seriously don't even find the cinematography all that great, it just seems like they're actually kind of trying with it which when 99% of the time directors don't even try anymore when it comes to anime is apparently good enough to make it stellar directing and cinematography to most people. I'm so glad I watch shit other than anime so I can get some perspective on this stuff, it's probably what makes it look so eh by comparison though. Production values don't even seem all that great, at least not to the extent of what people are describing. Maybe if I had watched it first before hearing about it through word of mouth I might feel differently though cause I was practically expecting movie level quality with what people were describing, not just standard noitaminA A-1 that's somewhere between Your Lie in April and Silver Spoon.
If it's not supernatural or relies on intense CGI more likely than not it has a live-action adaptation
A lot of live-action comes out every year but they're usually shoujo or manga that haven't been scanlated.
Tell me honestly, /a/, if the one you love goes to a deep coma for more than 10 year would you go look for another?
I can't say I have the patience to wait that long.
