I'm just disappointed it's based on the original 3 games.

I know it isn't unpopular opinion time but I actually liked AA4 and wouldn't mind seeing it get some love.

AJ sold ridiculously well in Japan (the only market that matters regarding AA), since it was the first full new AA story they'd gotten in years. AA1-3 were originally released on GBA over there, the DS games were just ports to them.

They disliked AJ for the correct reasons as far as I can tell - plenty of interesting ideas but it's all meaningless when it's all executed so badly.

The end of JFA is perfect to settle things and if this anime is successful chances are we're gonna get Trial and Tribulations in full animu glory.
