They just confirmed this chapter that no one's dead yet. But I doubt they'll get back up to do anything. At most they might appear at the final battle to pull some power of friendship crap.
To be fair, it didn't damage him, just stopped his movement. And I bet you a THE HEART Geralt will just break it next chapter, fight some more and then be paralyzed by Shota's super duper ice of immovable termometers that can't be broken.
Which is why the Quincy have usually no probelms with hollows. Their reiatsu is poisonous but not venomous. If it were the other way, then, Hollows and Vizards would be dangerous to them, while the Hollow pills would be harmless.
no he said that he and pernida had powers before being given his schrift. gerard is "the heart" of the soul king, whatever that's supposed to mean. In the case of the arms it seemed to be purely literal and didn't imply anything else, but gerard's situation has a number of weird issues surrounding it, like how/why he has his own body and whether that has anything to do with the nature of the soul king or if it's somehow a schrift thing, or something else entirely.
So only Soi Fon and Urahara are unaccounted for up in Royal Realm.
Soi Fon is definetly gonna go help Yoruichi-sama. Will Urahara go with her or will he help fight Gerard? Or will he sit on his ass until the final fight?
No, the issue here is that it's not clear what the fuck he is. Is he a clone of the soul king grown from his heart, thus more akin to pernida? (not that it's perfectly clear what pernida was anyway) Is he a human, and thus quincy, with the heart of the soul king? Is he some kind of artificial construct fromed by the miracle powers, like gremmy's body from visionary?
we have a few people floating around that aren't clearly KO'd or dead.
its only poisonous if its inside of them, ie it gets past their defences such as blood veine. That's why Quilge was able to wear a hollow and use its power with his Vollstandig. It's only when it gets directly inside of them (like when using a hollowfied bankai) that it's dangerous.
>wear a hollow and use it's power
Holy shit I just realized something.
It's been mentioned in all three of the previous arcs that Ichigo's weird in that he can wear his power as if it were clothing. Byakuya mentions it when he talks about how his bankai is so small in SS. Unohana mentions it when she's healing him up on their way to Fake Karakura town and notices that as his reiatsu is restored, so is his bankai coat. Ginjo mentions it when Ichigo reaches the height of his Fullbring powers: part of his power is to wear his power. And then when Ginjo lets Xcution have Ichigo's Fullbring, they all get Fullbring armor, including Ginjo, which none of them had before.
Uryu's Letz Stil, way back in SS, manifested as partial armor.
Chad has always been able to wear his power, and he was revealed to be a Fullbringer, which is all about using Hollow-tainted human reiatsu.
The Quincy Vollstandig is wearing the power of a Hollow.
And Ichigo is a Quincy.
Is this the 4th level?
using a bankai in no way internalized reiatsu, all it did was make the bankai incompatible with quincy manipulation. Like if you had acid proof gloves to handle acidic material, and then surprise someone decided it wasn't just acidic anymore, it was also on fire and your gloves didn't protect from fire. If there was some kind of internalized poisoning then it would have weakened them not just disengaged the bankai, which was all it did.
>If there was some kind of internalized poisoning then it would have weakened them not just disengaged the bankai,
from memory, Cang Du got fucked up by the hollowfication of daiguren hyorinmaru, and he was the only one using a bankai. The rest hadn't resorted to them yet
>people actually thought Hitsugay wasn't going to fight either the D or the M after Mayuri had his whole scene showing how he revived them and they were off to join the battle
He's one of Kubo's and his editor's favorites, so of course he'll get a month or two of his own chapters.
Oh look, Hitsugaya + some random vaizards vs. some inconsequential enemy again. Wonder how this will go down.
It was sorta implied he did. The glimpse of his training specifically had Kensei note "if you expect to survive you'll need to learn bankai" and then the next time we saw him Kensei remarked "you didn't even get to show the results of your training." So it sounds like he actually got his bankai, but Superstar just kicked the shit out of him before he could use it. Then Love had him fighting Byakuya. Zombie Kensei kicked his ass. Then X-axis shot him through the chest and that was that.
Hitsugaya and his fuckbaby brigade loses unless one of them has THAT to beat 2OP4u. You know, THAT. The same THAT that's been used to beat the other 2OP4u quincy's though X is still alive.
Who ordered Hitsugaya + Hiyori yelling at each other while Lisa fights again? Oh well, at least we have Hachi so we can expect the Miracle to get beyond rekt.
Also, was this the first time anyone used a mask all arc?
>group encounters The D together
>separated and beaten in smaller groups
>go on ahead, we'll handle him
>Ichigo, Chad and Orihime run off
Where the fuck did Nel and Ganju go? Why aren't they with Ichigo & co.? Did anyone pick Grimmjow's useless ass up off the floor Askin laid him out on?
>implying Mayuri is crazy enough to give his experiments more power than they already have
I expect something more half baked. Something completely out of left field.
hitsugaya's been in this arc too much, and grimmjow too little.
i miss gigi.
It's a derogatory sorta term for a bald or balding person. Like calling a fat person "fatty" or "tubs" or "fatass" in that it's literal but the literal use of it is not really the point. Hiyori uses it more liberally but still as a derogatory and the joke is that she keeps using it wrong and apparently on purpose. Actually, it's almost akin to the way we used faggot as a totally nondescript catchall insult, but obviously less loaded with issues.
Kubo retconned his hollow powers away, white ichigo was just his sword spirit all along. which was for some reason trying to take over his body. and which was for some reason capable of taking over his body. you know, like sword spirits do.
Why didnt anyone warn Yoruichi of what this faget do? Like where the fuck is the Royal guard? Are they just sitting with a thumb up their ass the back in that place where they got their shit fucked?
>Love refuse to use his Bankai again and get smashed the fuck up like the faggot that he is
no, no they're not. the monk gave Ichigo a clue however, he said, you don't have to kill him but you must find a way to stop him. Bach's going to be the new soul king. but instead of an actual crystal he'd probably be locked away in a pocket dimension powered by ironically his very own Hubris.
The Monk will heap upon him names of praise, and awe and godliness that will ascend his sensibilities to the point that he sees himself as infinitely more than the Emperor of Quincies. The bigger he'll become, the smaller the concerns he had previously will be.
So imagine a being who is all powerful and is the virtual check and balances of all reality, he'll see the Quincy plight as but one aspect in a facet of a billion trillion bits of complexities and nuances of existence, but not the only wrinkle that needs ironing, and not the most pressing one.
The Monk's no fool ya'll. he only needs Ichigo and crew to weaken Yhwach enough so he could have time to bless Yhwach thereby making his position more praise worthy.
You not only didn't understand a word of my post, you didn't understand a word of the manga either. I don't really know how to deal with this problem, short of sending you back to 1st grade.
Gremmy was the strongest but lacked the imagination to keep up with the strongest guys. It's not like he didn't have the power, he just didn't have the imagination to go the distance. Had he Mayuri's imagination I think Yhwach himself would be in problems.
Ooetsu himself said that Asauchi were basically Hollows, and that Ichigo's zanpakuto was weird in that it was more Hollow-like than most (probably because it's an actual Hollow)
I hope Hitsugaya brings out his mask. I realize that he has not subjugated his hollow if it is at all powerful enough to attempt a takeover, but fuck that Hitsugaya's mask was cool.
He said that his swords are made by piling up Shinigami soul, not that his swords are fucking Hollows. They are similar but not the same
Holy fucking shit you fucking retards
He has the potential for one, as do Sui Feng, Byakuya and Komamura. But of all those he is the only one who was shown with it.
Did you forget? When he used bankai after taking Urahara's hollowfication pill his bankai temporarily changed. If not a full mask, then at least the fragments should appear.
This is no Souuchirou-whatever his name is.
That image is maroon Soifon.
Speaking of Soifon, I'm the only one thinking that this guy's death has 'Soifon' written all over it?
Mayuri: I made it possible for you to freeze things to absolute zero degrees with a modest effort. I got the idea from Ms. Kuchiki and her bankai! Just be careful with it....or you'll freeze all your friends. Bahaha!
I'd say Soifon is going to show up at the last moment to save Youruichi-sama, and Urahara will be scheming something somewhere keikaku doori.
Soon, in Kubo I trust, soon.
I just saw this come up in my Youtube feed. I'm surprised Bleach still exists, let alone has people talking about it on /a/.
I do miss the days when hollows were actually relevant to the plot.
Those were better times. Quincies have been shitty this entire arc.
Mexico arc had way more and better waifus and felt way more inspired and fun.
Since not much interesting did happen, I'm going to post some trivia:
The term Wahrwelt or in English "True World" was a term used by Nietzsche in his segment "How the "True World" became fiction, which was a part of "Twillight of the idols or How to philosophozise with a hammer". In his book Nietzsche spoke abou how it's the end of what we perceived as truth and how new values are rising or old values are transavluated. Specifially in the segment he wrote how philosophers were able to fictionalize the true world.
This may be the reason, why no one knows about Yhwach conquering the world 1000 years ago. The Shinigami do know how to wipe memories mind you.
Speaking of Nietzsche, Aizen is among other things, based on Nietzsche's Übermensch, since Aizen wants to change the current system and replace it with his own values. He does consider himself above good and evil and his volume title was "God is dead". Both were famous proclamations of Nietzsche. His evolution after Gin failed to kill him is also based on Nietzsche's proclamation "The which, that does not kill you, makes you only stronger."
Urahara is the "Last Man". The Übermensch wants to change things no matter what and replace them with his own values, while the Last Man, wants to let things stay as they are. This is similiar to their last conservation, where Aizen shouted, that one should think of how the world should be and not how it is. While Urahara agreed but didn't want to take action, because that's how the world is.
Coincidently Pernida, who governs change and progress is on Yhwach's side, who like Aizen wants to kill the Soul King, while Mimihagi, who governs stagnation is on the side of the Shinigami, who don't want to let the Soul King die.
honestly, a Hitsugaya power seems less far fetched than Rukia or Byakuya's power up. At least with Hitsugaya we already knew he had great undeveloped potential. Those two felt like they didn't have that much growing left to do, but then after the royal guard deus ex machina they're all of a sudden supercharged
>I just saw this come up in my Youtube feed. I'm surprised Bleach still exists, let alone has people talking about it on /a/.
If I were you, I'd prepare myself to keep being surprised for the next three years.
Without taking into acount the threads after Bleach ends.
Gerard is nothing like Yammy, Askin always jobs but has a ridiculously broken power, Haschwalth is not a traitor and Yhwach's keikakus actually work because unlike Aizen he can see the future.
As for Bazz, not even close. Renji and Grimmjow were rival fighters, both served as mid bosses for Ichigo to fight and learn from, their fights were rematches to make up for previous loss and both ultimately had a personal grudge against Ichigo. Bazz was nothing of the sort, he wanted to kill Ichigo for the reward, he has not once fought Ichigo head on and he is not Ichigo's rival. Uryu is the only one who qualifies for that role
>less far fetched
They took a skinny dip in Kirenji's super bath, ate Hikifune's super food, trained in super/dense reiatsu, and got their true sword powers told by the monk guy.
You literally can't get a less asspulley powerup in Bleach than that.
>You literally can't get a less asspulley powerup in Bleach than that.
that was my point. After stomaching the Rukia/Byakuya/Renji power up, I'm pretty sure I'd be okay with whatever Kubo throws hitsugaya's way
Kubo wouldn't dare destroy Hirako x Hiyori r-right?
Hitsugaya already has Matsumoto, Momo, and
Karinto choose from
>The term Wahrwelt or in English "True World" was a term used by Nietzsche in his segment "How the "True World" became fiction
I can assure you that Nietzsche never ever uttered the word "Wahrwelt"
Because that sounds completely wrong in German
He might have said "Wahres Welt" or "Die Wahre Welt" but never "Wahrwelt" which just sounds stupid
use genmirror(website) to unblock it
after fiddling with many proxy sites I found one that can unblock it(because Firefox is being gay with Hola and not letting me use it as of recent versions)
I was considering to pick Bleach back because of him one day but suddenly remember that he's gone from the series forever.
Anyone want me to post screenshots of the video?
Has anyone downloaded this shit? It's actually pretty
So why is Hitsugaya wearing a Sternritter outfit? That is a Sternritter outfit, isn't it? Also how do you think he was brought back to life? Pretty sure he was dead and he has his old hairstyle? So nostalgic.
Sorry if this was discussed already, I just saw this thread and I haven't been on /a/ recently.
Hitsugaya looks fucking badass in that outfit, I hope he continues to wear it.
>So why is Hitsugaya wearing a Sternritter outfit? That is a Sternritter outfit, isn't it?
Gigi dressed him in it while he was her
yes her, check your cis privilige shitlordszombie.
What a horrible thing to suggest!
Nigga it feels like it's been 5 years since we last saw Hitsugaya and frankly it seems like a lot of shit has happened since than.
Sorry I'm not an autistic that can remember every little single thing that happened in the series.
My japanese not too good but this says something like "its decided"
Its like 5 images
"substitute soul reaper arc"
The video is just 1 minute of clips from the anime with the "if you wanna see some action" song playing. Thought id post the text parts anyway in case people wanted to read it themselves.
Let's be fair, nobody is ever going to top Aizen's level of everything-according-to-keikaku. Yhwach tried once against Ichigo and it was a pathetic attempt. He wasn't even smug at the time.
Yhwach said all of Ichigo's battles were of his benefit . Not that he planned them.
Why is Ichigo fighting them?
Is there a new year card for 2016 like the years before?
Anyone remember when this used to be good? I like to think I've been reading and watching this shit for so long because it was good at some point. I think the last time I had fun watching this show was SS arc.
>Soifon vs. Harribel
>two god-tier melee fighters with all their points in SWORD and FIST respectively colliding
God damn, that would've been an epic, fast-paced match that could've been utterly boner-inducing with good enough animation. Instead we got thanks, mr. skeltal melting everything with his crotchrot powers and Harribel handling 3v1 against Icefaggot and 2 Jobzards so effortlessly that even Aizen got fucking bored of it.
Thanks Kubo, you prick. I wish to god that guy would have just stuck to art and character design and let someone else write his shit for him.
>Lille vs Kira and-
Yeah he's a fucked bird-owl angel-sperm.
you mean volume?
you're in for roughly about 3/4 of the first arc which is the best arc in the series
read the first volume online first though
your friend was that bored with the series that fast huh?
>that aizen page
oh god what shitty fucking writing
he fucking baits ichigo himself by kidnapping orihime and now he starts acting like a nigger by saying "dindu nufin"
fuck off aizen and fuck off kubo
He also killed a few innocent people by being a faggot and letting his reiatsu run loose when he came to Karakura Town
He could always say "oh but I didn't kill him he just couldn't take my reiatsu" but nah he was just being a faggot
Orihime will probably heal Bazz-B. If Hiyori survived getting cut in half, then Bazz-B can survive his wounds. Giselle is a zombie and already survived a broken neck, a stabbed heart and loosing almost half her body. Giselle should be able to survive and if Giselle is alive, then Bambietta can be revived, since Giselle can actually revive zombies, that have been killed.
I'm also going to disagree with this also. I don't believe Kubo would Buzzard Black, Gigi and lil gluttony off that easily. Kubo has a thing for making us wait before we can confirm if someone is KIA.
>but it's still possible that Kubo got the idea of Wahrwelt there and just choose the wrong term
That's what exactly happened
It's not like Kubo can come up with anything original
And he always fucks up other languages so badly
Whenever Ishida used to say something German I cringed because Kubo can't into German Grammar and sounds like he translated it one word at a time looking at a dictionary
Yumichika is one of the bitchiest characters in the entire series and his proof is rather filmsy and I would trust Mayuri's words more. I believe Giselle has a dick though, but there's is nothing confirmed so far. Half the Sternritter turned out to have bodies, so I wouldn't be surprised if Giselle being a boy is just misleading and truth is something much more strange or crazy. She could be a futa for all we know or maybe even made a contract with dick of the Soul King. At this point I wouldn't be surprised anymore. The Sternritter are just weird, but I actually like them more than the Espada and the Shinigami. Chapters focusing were the best so far and Kubo should focus more on them
Mayuri is the epitome of a butterfly. He changes constantly. He wouldnt think it mattered that giselle was male - only what giselle is now. thats his mindset. i think gigis Yhwach wish was to be female. This is Kubos critique on post op trannies - you can have the equipment but it doesnt make you a woman.
suck it tumblr
>mfw i didn't thought of that
I always suspected that Kubo was using Bleach as an outlet for his passion for fashion. I think Chad would be an 80's era leather jacket rather than a pair of gloves, though.
Honestly ALL Bleach characters except for maybe 10? select few seem like cardboard cutouts with no character to me which is unacceptable with 650+ chapters. Even the characters in Naruto had more background, not even development but just plain background.
We know next to nothing about anybody, makes it very hard to care.
>I always suspected that Kubo was using Bleach as an outlet for his passion for fashion.
What's it like reading on the -1st level? He's literally said he wants to go into fashion after he's done with manga.
Soifon apparently has the most overpowered piece of garbage ability, but for some reason it is never used or works.
Hitting something twice in the same spot shouldn't be that difficult.
Before shunsui sent everyone ahead without him the group asked, "were all the vicecaptains lost?" and the reply was that Renji, Rukia, Nanao, and Momo were all still around. No word from Omaeda and Isane, so unless they escaped off screen when no one was watching, the implication is they got gunned down by Lille.
I read the Viz version of this scene at my Library recently. I actually prefer this over "....to crush this guy so badly!"
Viz is still the best overall though. Plus those SFX.
Can someone help me out with the Bleach mobile game? It came out recently in europe (in english) and I got Byakuya from ym first gatcha and have like 100 crystals. Is that good? Or should I ivest everything I have to get someone good? Who is good in the first place in the game?
My rock hard erection from you mentioning her says yes.
I've only just started myself, but from what I've read in the in-game chat:
>Who is good in the first place in the game?
Good? Any 5-stars.
The best? The 5-star Grimmjow on the current summon banner.
Save up 250 orbs for a 10x summon. That way, even if you don't get a 5-star from it, you're still guaranteed at least one 4-star.
Also, you get a 5-star Renji for free as a quest reward when you've killed 1,000 enemies.
The german translation is better though, they clarified for example, that each of Yhwach pupils has a different function and thus that the Soul King has one ability more than Yhwach. It also clarfied, that Giselle is actually stronger than the Quincy on the ground except Bazz-B and Liltotto or that both Candice were alive prior to the Auswahlen, though they most likely were killed like Robert. It also made Askin's need to consume Things more obvious.
Thanks for the Renji tip. I just got a 5-star Soifon that I leveled up to 35. She doesn't kill the enemies as fast as I was hoping but she's 3x as strong as my 3-star Byakuya.
Omaeda is great at escaping and hiding, and Isane is great at healing. They may have been shot, we can't tell, but I don't want to believe even Kubo would kill them off screen.
They certainly aren't dead, but I doubt they and Hisagi will contribute much during the reminder of the Wahrwelt Invasion. Maybe on another day, but not this. Come to think of, the Wahrwelt Invasion may be the first conflict where no one dies. Everyone who "died" so far (Bazz-B, Giselle, Liltotto, Nemu, Pernida) could actually reasonably come back somehow or be revealed to be only mostly dead.
Her power is reality warping, so theoretically she can cheat to do anything. Reject the even of someone dying and having their body blown to atoms. Reject the event of not having a soda right now. Reject the even of the color blue existing. Reality warping is stupid powerful, so she's not allowed to explore her powers or do anything beyond healing with them. Extending her powers beyond healing to that was the worst thing Kubo ever did to her character, because now she has to be benched lest she solve every problem. A clever writer could still write around a character with such a power, but as Gremmy, a reality warper Kubo gave less restraint, shows, Kubo is not a very clever man.
>imagine having meta MB-tier powers
Seriously, even the ability to make things powerless can't stop the ability to get all other abilities, but better or some other equally bullshit power literally driven by the plot
Her "power" is Shun Shun Rikka, a sextet which can be used to create barriers that can reject various events:
-A barrier which negates an attack
-A barrier which can restore something damaged
-A barrier which cuts through an enemy
She's much better with the first two because she lacks the will to hurt others; however, she can create a fourth barrier which can repel force as of the time skip.
Event Rejection to Reality Warping is like a droplet of water to an endless ocean. Orihime is not only bound to her personal limits, but also the limit of changing the outcome of a single event compared to infinite events.
>rejection of reality
Technically yes it is but it really is nowhere close to 'real' reality warping. Actual reality warpers in their full sense are more or less omnipotent and if they're not they can just change the rules so that they are.
Orihime's really done nothing with her power besides her shield barrier and infinite revives.
I don't usually eat out, but this pic makes me salivate. Just want to press her against wall, gently put one hand on her back to make her cute butt arch, slowly slide that dress thing up, move panty to the side with my nose and itadakimasu that pussy into oblivion.
I actually thought it was the opposite with Gremmy, that Kubo Chose a clever and unique route. Instead of focusing on the flexibility and unpredictability of such a power, Kubo Chose to show the dangers of it for the wielder, especially someone like Gremmy who has almost zero battle or life experience. Kubo chose to focus on Gremmy's psychology and vulnerability and instead of Kenpachi trying to be strong enough to cut everything, it was Gremmy who tried to come up with something Kenpachi couldn't cut.
>I still wonder why Kubo cut Gin off. He didn't know what to do with him or what?
In all honesty, I feel his arc had come full circle with Deicide, and we can all remember him fondly because he died when he was meant to. Still my favorite Captain.
I made Rukia as mai pawnfu in DD. I got her weight and height correct at least somewhat. The voice is too high pitched, but it can't be helped.
Is the face at all good? I think it's ok.
Suzumebachi seems like it would be too easy, and there's no way Askin is dying without using his Volstandig. Honestly I'm hoping to see Kisuke fight soon and now would seem like an ideal time to join the fray.
Pure oxygen is lethal. Making him inhale pure oxygen for awhile, so he becomes immune to oxygen, and then watch him suffocate to death.
Or would he just become immune to suffocation? How would that work?
I still don't get the whole zombie plot that was done then undone.
>Poor man's Yammy
>Generic i go huge power
>Nobody pulls the "the huger they are the harder they fall"
>Nobody pulls the "attack his insides"
Well, there are two reasonable possibilities if someone needs to save Yoruichi: Soifon and Urahara.
The only issue I have with Soifon being the one to take him down is that they're supposed to have intel on all of the captains and vice captains, so Askin should be very much aware of Suzumebachi's power. There'd have to be something of a major struggle for her to actually land the two hits, unless they're going to pull some "she's power up a fucking lot" thing and have her just suddenly sneak up behind him and double-strike to end the fight instantly.
On the other hand, the "they should know her shikai's power" applies to literally every enemy at this point, which leaves us with several issues on her future role. Would she be forced to use Bankai to kill anyone at all? In principle anything that can one-shot Askin seems like it would be the thing to go for, so her Bankai is still a pretty good fit against him. Restraining him well enough that it actually hits...I dunno. Maybe that "thing" the tranny was bringing Yoruichi is a binding item?
He gathered all the shittier Quincies to resurrect them so stand to reason he couldnt resurrect them again now
>Took one of the captain commander's eye
>Turn out to be fodder
Maybe the second Homonka kills him and that activates his Vollständig.
Maybe he is forced to use it after several in diferent places.
They know her Bankai in detail; Kisuke rarely shows his, hence he'd have an advantage.
Hence why The Miracle didn't work the first time.
Nimaiya's words; I can't say that he meant them literally, but Askin was the only one of the four who wasn't killed in one hit by Sayafushi.
Soifon is really fast. And Yoruichi can help distract and/or weaken Askin, so Suzumebachi should be enough.
Also, if she took the time to train her little and not very useful brother, why not train with Soifon too?
I wish Ywach would brainwash them into being enemies so we can at least even the playing field (the overwhelming amount of good guys still good for battle) and see RG bankais.
>And Yoruichi can help distract and/or weaken Askin
Not anymore, remember? He's immune to her reiatsu.
>Also, if she took the time to train her little and not very useful brother, why not train with Soifon too?
Soi Fon has already achieved Shunko.
I think that's rather unlikely. The Shinigmi most likely imprisoned Yhwach's father and forced him into the role of the lynchpin, so they would maybe try the same with Yhwach or just replace him with a more controllable lynchpin like Ichigo. I can easily see them and maybe the majority of the other Shinigami becoming enemies of Ichigo, but I'm not sure if it will be under Yhwach. I think they are too arrogant and pridefull to serve a Quincy.
>The Shinigmi most likely imprisoned Yhwach's father and forced him into the role of the lynchpin,
Hence my point; they'll likely attempt the same with Yhwach, but that doesn't change the fact that they need him "alive".
Man I can't stand Kubo's writing but I love his art.
What do /a/?
Well Ichibee did say, that Ichigo doesn't need to kill him, but rather that they should just stop him. But that would imply, he expected Ichigo to have a chance in the first, since he immediately said, he can't win. At least Shunsui and Urahara are considering either Aizen or Ichigo though. Ise's mirror sword will surely come handy.
They might try though, but in the end Nanao is too unexperienced. But it might be more usefull, if they try it on Ichigo, who wouldn't expect it or Aizen, who is bound to his chair.
If the anime comes back, they might have a alot of fun with Halibel in her prison and whatever happened between Giselle and Bambietta during the first night. I'm actually wondering, how Giselle would be depicted by the artists, as a futa or as a trap.
There is the implication though, that Aizen did something to Orihime, that made her completely heal the Hogyoku off-screen, which is also why the winter war happened much earlier, than initially stated.
Takes a shit ton of skill to write a character that can properly reject events and still have a cohesive story that has any semblance of a conflict left in it.
I dont think I've ever seen a writer pull it off
But remember, there are many characters, that aren't yet in the Royal Realm and this war is supposed to last nine days. We haven't reached day three yet. Kubo didn't joke, when he said, this will be longer, than the Arrancar saga.
If that's really the case, it would make things even more retarded, since if Orihime's power can heal the Hogyoku, it means that power can affect it and thus can destroy it along with its wielder Aizen, who's supposed to be completely immortal. In other words, nothing she can't kill or heal with that power. That's something only a last boss should possess, not a fanservice bimbo.
>which is also why the winter war happened much earlier, than initially stated.
Pretty sure that was Aizen exposing Kisuke's hougyoku to his own, effectively doubling it's power and cutting the time in half. I don't think it had anything to do with Orihime, she was essentially bait for Ichigo.
The last nine days begin with the second Invasion, which is also the aniversary of Masaki's death. Yhwach said that the end is only nine days away. He would also have activated the Almighty much earlier. Coincidently, the day the sealed king is going to reclaim the world is also Kubo's birthday. Masaki died on June 17, while Kubo's birthday is on June 26. Kubo final villain confirmed.
He did state that creating Arrancar weakens the Hogyoku. When Aizen showed the Hogyoku to Orihime, it was full of cracks. The next time we saw it, it was completely healed. I think Aizen also kidnapped Orihime, so she could heal it and help him transcendent faster. Aaroniero did include Orihime, when he sent his allies his last Moments and Ulquiorra and Grimmjow considered her on of them. So Aizen did something to her. Maybe he used Bankai on her or did something that changed her even on a physical/spiritual level.
>So Aizen did something to her. Maybe he used Bankai on her or did something that changed her even on a physical/spiritual level.
I think you're grasping at straws here; he certainly used her to repair the Hougyoku but there really isn't any evidence of the kinds of things you're speculating.
>code of the Onmitsukido being all about "letting your allies struggle while you wait for the opportunity to strike"
>being stated back in SS to be literally the greatest assassin in Soul Society history
>we have yet to see her legitimately assassinate anyone
It's time. Soifon is waiting in the shadows while Yoruichi fights Askin, and just when she's about to lose Soifon will light his ass up with Nigeki Kessatsu. She's more than capable of striking the same spot in a fucking attosecond, as shown in the fight against Vega.
You can cap this if you like, it's literally going to happen.
and then he'll bullshit his way out of dying by popping Vollstandig, which will require Yoruichi in Raijin mode and Soifon in Fuujin mode to combine their reiatsu into a one-hit fuck off attack that kills him instantly
But why would she heal it otherwise. Even Orihime wouldn't do something that stupid. Unless Aizen did something. It may be just psychological, but it could also have more effects on her mind. And his Bankai could have the ability to control someone's mind or to mind rape or brainwash someone.
>And his Bankai could have the ability to control someone's mind or to mind rape or brainwash someone.
Sorry, but you're trying to abstract too much from an already vague premise.
Though Kubo reveals usually end up like this. Unohana being actually Kenpachi Yachiru, Zangetsu being Ichigo's Qincy power or Pernida being a Hand. Before they were revealed wuld you believed anyone, if he had theorized that?
That doesn't necessarily mean that all speculation is equal in likelihood, anon. I've seen anons make this same argument all the time but none actually dig through the manga for more evidence. If you wish to sway me, try doing that. Otherwise, nice chatting with you.
KEEP THAT BITCH TRAP AWAY FROM MY WAIFU
Orihime is only known as slut of the show. There is no explanation why she has powers in the first place. Kubo just gave her OP bullshit.
Nope. Gin never had to die, in fact he's the only real death in Bleach.
Kubo is a fag with an NTR fetish.
Gin died so now Rangiku will move on to that NTR gaylord with the 69 tattoo.
If Kubo finishes up Rangiku's story it will happen.
>There is no explanation why she has powers in the first place. Kubo just gave her OP bullshit.
Ichigo's reiatsu plus the Hougyoku is about all the explanation needed there. Also she may or may not be a Fullbringer, it was never made clear.
>Gin never had to die
Everyone has to die, anon; the best we can hope is that the people with shit taste die sooner than later.
>yfw it's revealed that Yuushiro is a girl raised from birth to believe she is a boy
Their parents are likely smug catfaced trolls like Yoru is, so maybe they'd just trick Yuushiro for shits and giggles. Or maybe it's some back-assward Japanese inheritance thing and when they had a second daughter they began the lie for the purposes of keeping their house's nobility alive.
>Yoruichi and Soi-Fon lez out hardcore
>It's so amazing it's killing Askin.
>"I always wanted to die seeing this."
>Intentionally doesn't make himself immune so he can die in the manner of his choosing.
Mayuri's Hyperbolic Healing and Dezombification Chamber XR3700 has the unfortunate side effect of accelerating the aging process (it's still in the beta test stage). Rangiku is probably some withered old bat with tits sagging down to the floor now.
I like this idea. I'd like to see Soifon's shikai actually being used again, as I thought it was a cool and unique design, but thanks to power creep it hasn't had a chance to be relevant. It'd go along with his theme too if actually killing him activated his Vollstandig, but that might also end up feeling like the X-Axis with opening his eyes or whatever he did to become "immortal."
Either way I'm hoping Urahara ignores this battle because I'd like to see him do something useful this arc like fighting one of the big 3. Maybe alongside Aizen? Maybe a 1v1v1?
>yfw Ichigo shoots some ultimate Godmode attack shit at Yhwach, Yhwach dodges and Nanao reflects it onto Yhwach, something he hadn't and couldn't have foreseen
I'm expecting something more like...
>Ichigo reveals his ultimate attack...
>By taking out an iPad and showing Bach fanfiction.net!
>WTF am I reading.jpg
>that scene from scanners.gif
Either that or the Spanish Inquisition.
>Japanese inheritance thing and when they had a second daughter they began the lie for the purposes of keeping their house's nobility alive.
But then it'd be no problem with a female considering Yoruichi was the head before and she was a chick so there's obviously no problem of inheritance with a girl. And the Ise family for example is still alive even though they're all female and marry other families, so their name can obviously be passed down even though they're female, should work for a Great Noble family like the Shihoins too.
>Nanao defeats Yhwach
At this point I wouldn't put it past Kubo. Though I'd expect someone like Momo to do it, only for Aizen to come up behind her and slowly clap before impaling her, ending the series.
Ise is a minor house, though. Shihouin is one of the Great Four. The rules may be different. Also, "XXth head of the House of the Shihouin" was never one of Yoruichi's official titles, as far as I ever saw in the manga. The first time I ever saw that specific title was just now when Yuushiro claimed it for "him"self.
>Also, "XXth head of the House of the Shihouin" was never one of Yoruichi's official titles
Yeah it was
If you don't think Ganju Shiba is going to be the one to wreck Ywach's shit, you should consider just what your'e reading.
The Almighty will fall to the common man, the idiot who rides a boar, for despite his ability to see all, his hubris blinds him to the most pedestrian of threats.
>"the first woman to receive the title"
Indicating that it was not a normally accepted thing. When Yoruichi by default abandoned that and all her other titles, it may very well have effectively made her the last female to be given the title, since they made an exception and she responded by throwing her title away entirely. It's assumed to be a male-exclusive title; she probably earned it by being so damned (sexy) badass, but naming another woman right after her- especially in light of her misconduct- was probably not feasible.
>it may very well have effectively made her the last female to be given the title, since they made an exception and she responded by throwing her title away entirely.
Nothing but baseless speculation
> It's assumed to be a male-exclusive title; she probably earned it by being so damned (sexy) badass,
Following the other families and royalty and nobility in general, it's most likely cause she's the oldest child.
>but naming another woman right after her- especially in light of her misconduct- was probably not feasible.
>Following the other families and royalty and nobility in general, it's most likely cause she's the oldest child.
In 22 generations you honestly think she was the first female to have been first-born? Insanely unlikely. And Soifon mentioned hr earning the title as though it was an accomplishment, which speaks against the idea that it's just handed out to whoever is oldest, regardless of gender.
>Nothing but baseless speculation
Nigga, this entire conversation is predicated upon the idea that Yuushiro is actually a girl, raised as a boy her whole life, because reasons.
Gee whiz, you think? You sure? We're speaking in full hypotheticals here, dude. Obviously everything here is baseless speculation, that's why it's fun.
He got turned into basically a zombie slave who could barely talk but fought better than he normally does. Mayuri beat him up using science gimmicks and then used some more to unzombify him.
I'm pretty sure he wasn't acting though. He was genuinely surprised he was that strong.
My question is though. if he can change the lethal dosage of reiatsu he can take, why not just punch the shit out of him? I don't think there's a lethal dosage for blunt force trauma.
I don't think it having a "dose" is particularly relevant. I think it's more like if it can kill him, he can gain immunity to it if he's injured to (near) death by it.
And going by how his immunity to their reiatsu also healed the damage he did, either he has an additional healing ability or the immunity is kind of retroactive (haha, Orihime in glorious faggot form).
Okay, okay, okay...
I think I figured out how The Miracle is gonna go down...
>Icefaggot isn't able to stop him enough.
>Rangiku joins in, but is predictably ineffectual.
>Oh noes, is this the end (again (again)) for the SS ship?!
>The Miracle: What could you possibly hope to do with some dust and ice against a man as big as a skyscraper?! HAHAHAHA!
>Isshin walks in with his zanpakuto at skyscraper size and one-shots him
>My question is though. if he can change the lethal dosage of reiatsu he can take, why not just punch the shit out of him?
Any battle between spiritual beings is a battle of reiatsu. If reiatsu attacks won't work, as in immunity to rather than being sealed ala Yamamoto, neither will physical attacks.
Nope, Ice kid is already almost perfect for Gerard.
If he freezes the guy, he's not taking damage so he can't grow larger and will just be rendered immobile and unable to do jackshit. Add in probably some bullshit about how the ice shattering with him in it will render him in pieces unable to grow as he's still frozen, he's fucked
>implying Soifon isn't going to save Yoruichi's ass because she doesn't let Askin get used to her suzumebachi
>>Isshin walks in with his zanpakuto at skyscraper size and one-shots him
Wouldn't even work, the reiatsu or whatever which would normally be concentrated in the smaller blade would now be spread over a huge blade, which Gerard could easily block. Not to mention any damage from it he'd still just use to increase his god size. What we need is a Zanpakuto which either does no direct damage, or can immobilize Gerard. We need a mindfucker (Aizen bankai when?), freezer, or science shenanigans
Which against a spiritual being that's captain class will amount to nothing, reiatsu is shit=physical attacks by spiritual being a shit.
Anyone think she might die in a really dumb way (aka when saving her mongol brother)?
It's the same in spanish, and many arrancar and espada had names that did not only not resemble anything spanish, but were also almost impossible to pronounce in spanish (and in english I suppose)
Or instant death (Soifon's shikai, but she's probably with Yoruichi-sama).
Or poison (Mayuri can't be the only one).
Or non damage kidou (Hachigen, Tessai, etc).
Or even Rukia's absolute zero.
Oh shit nigga. This is literally perfect accept for one minor, and important detail. You forget though, it takes TWO strike points to kill. Askin only needs to be hit ONCE to be immune. You literally just set us up for another jobbing chapter.
>Anyone think she might die in a really dumb way (aka when saving her mongol brother)?
No, however I always remember those lines between Urahara and Yoruichi just after the end the Soul Society arc:
"We wont have an easy death".
Why can't Kubo write a decent plot without holes.
Why didn't Starrk fight back with his wolves and guns? Why did he let Shunshit kill him so easily? Was this even explained.
Nah that's not how shunsui's power works. Otherwise he would have raped this quincy's archer from the get go because he doesn't have a blade (until his X power).
And disregarding any opponent's powers for a shikai to force them to play a game they don't understand with weapons they don't have, well that's a lil OP.
Yeah, that was kind of the point of their entire dialogue. Shunsui was going easy on him and intentionally making moves to help him learn the rules.
Reading Comprehension: FUCK THAT SHIT I'MMA POST ON /a/!
If it was that easy he wouldn't have been about to go bankai in his first encounter with Starrk.
Meaning his shikai doesn't cancel whatever power isn't sword. Because let's face it that would be OP beyond belief.
Kubo just went ahead and made Starrk suicide for some reason because he didn't had time and wanted to finish his arc quickly when he suddenly realized he couldn't shove quincies in it at the same time as the rest.
NEXT WEEK, ON BLEACH
Hitsugaya doesn't job, holy fucking shit, viking dude gets completely encased in ice before being broken into millions of pieces
Shinji shows up for Aaskin fight, mindfucks him with his Bankai that switches the senses around
Pretty much this
Starrk was literally stronger than Ulquiorra, probably even stronger than Segunda Etappa Ulquiorra which took a full Hollow Mode Ichigo to take down, meanwhile Shunsui beats the shit out of Starrk because KUBO.
same thing is happening right now with the quincies.
>26 captain level and higher quincies
>100 chapter laters
>The only 2 captains no one cared about dead. 23 quincies dead for good.
Kubo shot himself in the foot with the captains because they were the first to get a fanbase in a batch at the same time, and since then he can't introduce new characters without there being conflict and alienating the previous fanbase.
This is why it's never good to introduce so many characters at the exact same time at the beginning of a story.
