Touching hands with Kayo.
Wait does this mean he has literally no consequences for his actions and just restarts every time?
If so this entire plot goes up in flames besides the fact that other "kids" are hinting towards knowingly being revived
Grimgar looks to be a contender, but Haruchika I didn't care for the first episode at all. Didn't even watch the second.
Boku dake has had a very strong first episode, and a very good second one. I was afraid there would be a huge quality drop, but I'm glad to see it looks like it'll be good throughout the whole thing. I'm just hoping it keeps the pace, and ends in a good place. It's really good so I know the sales will poor and it won't get a S2, but once it finishes airing I'm picking the fuck up out of that manga.
So is the manga lined up to end around the same time as the anime, or are the just going to bumrush the last two episodes and the manga will flesh it out over however many chapters it has?
>you will never be a time traveling shota with a quiet loli waifu who talks to you like you're trash
i forgot if this was adressed before or after this in the manga, but the point is he does have some slight problems with not being influenced by his kid body.
notice how he kept saying out hings loud even though didn't want to?
Every season is a shit season. Just ignore it.
Masturbate and watch anime all over again. Would probably discovered 4chan at an earlier age though. In 2004 I was 9 or so.
>she probably liked me in some way.
She probably didn't.
Yes, have you been watching the show? He seen his mother murdered, felt guilty a girl got murdered as a child and the murder was his older friend. He also blocked all of that from his memory too. Oh and he has super powers.
MC is not the most well adjusted mentally.
This is not ok
He can't control the revives.
He's feeling awkward, and doesn't want to take wrong steps. Do you really think you'd be a smooth operator if you went back 18 years? I don't think you remember everything you've done back then to be able to fool everyone easily.
For me it's the best season in a couple of years, if it's worth anything.
Probably moe babbies complaining that they don't have 20 different shows about cute girls doing cut things to watch to forget about their own miserable life.
Also really loved how the show kept the quality high and how the minutes pass in an instant without ever boring you.
When this episode ended I was sure it was the midcard.
Not a lot of shows feel like this, honestly.
I'd rethink a lot of bad choice decisions to lead away from still being a student at 25.
I'd also use information I have now about girls who liked me in the past without me realizing to do something about it.
Even just one revival, with the knowledge of how much certain choices led me to feel like human garbage, would make a huge difference.
>revealing the killer for a split second in the OP
Those sneaky bastards
I would actually confess to this redhead girl in 7th grade
She fucking liked me back man..
IS YOUR FIRST NAME ALEX AND DID YOU HAVE A PET TURTLE YOU DONATED TO THE CLASSROOM?
Weekly reminder that Yuuki dindunuffin!
Comacuck was probably in a shoujo-esque love triangle while Kayo and Hiromi went through middleschool and highschool together.
After he entered the coma they probably visited him everyday together and eventually started flirting and falling in love over a mutual connection to his lifeless body.
Eventually visiting Satoru was just an excuse and they would use his comatose body as a way to score dates with each other because they were too awkward to ask the other out upfront.
>Hiromi confesses to Kayo
>Kayo says to give her time
>Later that day Hiromi goes to visit Satoru in his coma
>Kayo is already there, seemingly intimate with him
>"I knew it, you're still in love with him Kayo!"
>Hiromi runs out
>Kayo rushes after him
>Hiromi runs down the stars of Satoru's apartment, followed by Kayo
>Both of them tumble down the stars
>Kayo, now on top of Hiromi, tears streaming, hair disheveled
>"I love you Hiromi-kun! You're the one I love!!"
>"Liar! How can I believe that"
>Kayo leans in and kisses him
>"Hiromi-kun, I love you, will you go out with me?"
>Looks down, embarrassed
>"Of course, you big dummy..."
>Both of them gaze into each other's eyes before standing back up
>Walking back from visiting Satoru
>Hiromi lightly grasps Kayo's hand
>Both of them look away blushing, hiding their expressions under their mufflers
>"Well then, please take care of me!" said in unison
>absentmindedly left the door of comatose Satoru's apartment open in the middle of winter
No this isnt real life
There is no fucking way
This type of shit does not ever fucking happen
Yes I had a pet turtle and I donated it
But there is absolutely no way you are who Im talking about
The rapid wave of spoilers.
Every fucking time.
Why do you hate joy?
Shota MC a qt
>mediocre manga by the hack author
>adaptation from the director of sao
>instant aots by /a/ standards
Wasn't expecting anything less from you guys. Good job staying awake through these episodes.
Is this really necessary?
The culprit is Kazuya's time traveling rape baby.
>calling an average author a hack for no reason
>implying the shitty story of SAO has anything to do with a directors worth
Quick! Kill yourself!
This, that scene where the dark knight red hair faggot immediaely threw boobs into the conversation felt lke they just attempted to shove that down my throat, it wasnt in the slightest bit funny at all. Any other situation couldve fit that better but they just shoehorned it. May get better
This warmed my heart.
He'll have one more revival, where he'll fix everything once and for all, and be given the chance to have a chance at a happily ever after with Kayo.
But instead of taking that chance he'll be a true bro and keep the timeline the same, allowing Kayo and his friend to hook up again and have their child like what he saw.
In the end he'll return to his adult life with the older man he played with free of any charges, the teacher in jail/dead, and all of the children the teacher killed saved as well as Kayo and his friend married and with a child.
The last scene is a Steins;Gate scenario where he stumbles across Airi out of the blue and they talk for the first time.
Would you be satisfied?
This is literally the most overwhelmingly positive reception I've seen to a show since Fate. Most be an Aniplex thing, they get shitposters to stfu and tow the damn line somehow
If he does, he's bound to end up worse than the original serial killer:
>time leap several times
>consider chain-raping Suzuha and killing everyone
>doesn't even give a fuck about Mayushi
Kazuya (from Umareru Kachi):
>time leap ONCE!!
>rape elementary school girls
>time leap twice
>rape elementary school girls and kill several people
nigga, between SAO and Aldnoah Zero A-1 is my most hated studio out there.
Now that manglobe is kill
Depends on how often I could get repeat it. But I guess in my second life I would be at my absolute worst and do all the fucking shit you can only find in hentai mangas. By timeline 30+ I would probably go full GTA mode and fuck shit up. By timeline 100+ I would be a renowed and highly genius physicist and build anti-matter rockets. And after like 10^9+ repeats I would most likely be the emperor of this universe.
I would respect what the author did as much as for what he did when he woke up in latest translated manga, but I would not be okay with it. Fuck the trap, and MC ends with Kayo. Nevetheless, AOTY.
Yeah I dont know when it comes to Japan they obviously do. They pretty much clean sweeped the year between origin and Love Live. The west its a studio people love to hate for sure though. I mean /m/ alone is dedicated to shitting on them.
Even though I hate monogatari with a strong passion for being that one harem show to get a free pass for being harem, loved by the plebs, SHAFT is a magical studio. Without SHAFT people would take pitchfork whenever it gets mentioned. They made ecchi and harem pretentious enough to be considered art by the masses. That takes skill.
You think dealing with kids is easy? They think in an oblique way from adults. They don't often understand the logic of things both because they lack requisite life experience and because their brains aren't even close to being fully developed. As an adult trying to deal with kids you have to train yourself to understand how they think in order to communicate with them. Ever seen a kid say he doesn't want to leave grandma's house and just slumps on the floor and turns into a ragdoll? For an adult that's almost unconscionable. An adult who does that at least understands they're being petulant and stubborn (and is often drunk). A kid thinks that's the natural thing to do. Aside from being socially inept, he has to be socially inept and constantly analyzing how he can communicate with these kids.
KnK was decent but I honestly found Fate/Zero a chore to watch by the end with all of its bland characters and self important blathering. ufoTABLE has its strengths and weaknesses for sure, God Eater should have proved that especially
Ah damn, I felt so good after episode 2 I can´t get mad at anything. They kept the monologues, they added details to those hand touching, they have AKFG and the girl that did anime ED of the year. Shit, is this what it feels when they respect the source, and the source is good? Any adaptation that have made you feel this way?
The main reason why this show will get poor sales in Japan is because mangafag don't like the rush and almost all of them think MC's VA voice acting is trash level(even though seems west like his voice acting).
>Minimum shitposting = bad
Go to your Phantom garbage and pick your colourcoded waifus. The hot red one don´t even get enough screentime, kyoani is fucking shit. Did that satisfy you?
The retarded audience is always there, is about baiting them, and SHAFT did it like no other studio ever did. Being able to pretend that a harem show is more than a harem show is the key to that mountain of money. All those merchandise selling, all those waifu faggots, even thought MC already have a girlfriend after 1-2 episode. SHAFT = Amazing studio.
Good sales = More good manga gets adaptation
Bad sales = Less risk taking, more LN reborn/powerfantasy adaptation
You should care, unless you´re underage and live in your mom´s basement.
I can't tell who's who in the ed
>Less risk taking = No more risk taking
Read the post again.
You think people don´t want to adapt things they like from time to time? They just can´t justify it with just passion. Sometimes is okay, and that´s when we get good shows.
>1-5 Boredom trying weird shit for results/Fear and misunderstanding of whats happening
>6-10 Trying shit for results become more drastic and possibly dangerous
>10-14 Literally GTA
>15-20 Borderline Insanity, doing this shit for fun
>20-27 Boredom and complete insanity and a sense of the world being totally useless
Does that sum it up?
you wouldn't know good manga from bad ones if it hit your in the face.
but i agree in that this isn't a "great" manga. it's certainly a lot better than CoM, but the author lacks a little bit in style and presentation, though he tries to make it up with his stories.
And that's why Erased is going to be AOTS easily, you can feel when they want to do something good, they make the difference
Manga is pretty great mate. It avoided power fantasy genre, and the author really nailed the past regret thing. People resonating with a MC that is not a self-insert is good in my books.
This man is your friend. He fights for Yuuki.
The irony when the teacher was the one who inspired his courage.
2000 manga read do not equal knowing what´s good and what´s bad. Well is all subjective, but the general consensus is the manga is more than fine. And read novels then if you have gone through majority of manga you want to read.
Focus on the conversation please, and don´t derail it. I´m of course talking about the theme of second chances. Less than 99% of all manga deals with this theme, and majority is about self-masturbation. Read more, power fantasy is a popular thing, and is a money maker.
>Why would somebody want to kill a little girl?
do you ask yourself this question when you watch the news? I mean, don't get me wrong, it's a fair question. But this isn't an unrealistic concept only in fiction.
I'm glad they left this scene.
Sachiko is a top mum.
>Seinen is a genre
>Reading a lot means you have good taste
At least you look adorable for trying this hard.
Seinen is classified as a genre for search purposes on mangaupdates. That's why I wrote it like that, so you can go to mangaupdates.com, click on general search, got to the "Include Genre" checkbox next to "seinen", and then take a look at the amount of manga the demographic includes.
People are self-deluded if they think this manga is anything special or great. It's readable at best.
My best guess is that their lives are so shitty that they need to take other people's lifes to feel better about themselves. Every time they "steal" a young person's future, they experience power and control over (their) lives. And they kill girls because of either sexual interest ("if I can't have her then no one will have her") or general hate for women ("she's just going to grow up to be as shitty as other women, so I'm going to take her great and easy future as revenge for my bad life").
>I've read Bleach and one other mango
>BokuMachi is the greatest manga of all time!
Are you so stupid you can't see how having a deeper pool of knowledge to comparatively assess a work with is not a factor in "Good Taste"?
as the guy you replied to, i specifically said that it isn't "great". did you not understand that?
also why are you talking as if nobody knows what MU is. you really aren't doing a good job of hiding your newfaggotry.
I really liked the ending.
Also I feel like his Kohai from 18 years later is Hinazuki reincarnated, ages match.
> It's readable at best.
Not him but you made me cringe. There is a reason why the author got his manga adapted and not you. A reason why you talk shit and being jelly over Boku dake being well liked. And that reason is you having poor taste, and will never produce anything for anyone to enjoy. Thank the heavens for that.
>also why are you talking as if nobody knows what MU is
Because people were confused by calling Seinen a genre when I talked about mangaupdates? Did you read anything past the post you replied to?
i guarantee you that most of the anons replying to you have read more manga than you. 2000 is actually not a small number. if you're going to make up a number, use a more believable one.
>Because people were confused by calling Seinen a genre when I talked about mangaupdates?
you're new. holy shit just stop.
I didn't bother to read his shit but
>it's readable at best
What the fuck? Holy shit from which shitty board does he come?
The opening is amazing too.
Both work wonders for what they're supposed to do.
>There is a reason why the author got his manga adapted and not you
I laughed. Not creating content doesn't mean you can't judge content. Besides, by that logic, you must like every anime that comes out that's based on a manga because it got greenlit.
He never stood a chance. I was laughing when the other guy he was talking to said she was cute and he was attempting to laugh it off.
>if you're going to make up a number, use a more believable one.
I'm a sexless hikkiNEET with 180 (24hr x 180) days total time on my reader software.
It's a big number because it's true and I'm a loser.
nothing bad will happen to her r-right?
Calm your udders lad. Nobody claimed anything to be the greatest except you. Certainly having experienced a high number of works can be a good thing. But that depends on said individual. What does it matter if a guy have read every manga ever produced when said guy don´t doesn´t really comprehend what he have read. Just reading is something many can do, reading, digesting, and talking about the good and bad is what´s important. So honestly, is a great possiblity that I can have a more interesting and fun conversation with someone that only have read One Piece and Naruto than say, you. You seem to like pretending being a special 2000+ manga-under-your-belt person, than a person that likes to talk about manga.
there is no way that is true. unless your taste is so shit that even after 2k manga you still can't distinguish between average, decent, great and bad manga. also i highly doubt you'd reference something as fucking horrible as bleach when looking for a series to compare this to.
you may be a useless NEET but you don't know shit about manga.
no idea if it´s true or not with your reading count, but you being a sexless NEET explains everything you have posted. is a good you decided to remove yourself from the genepool.
Mangaka hates twintails.
>Don´t care, but keeps posting and responding
If time fluxes back infinitely on me until I fix a wrong, then it is not a power being used but merely a law of nature being enforced. If nature is that desperate to coerce me into acting on her behalf, then she better provide me with answers down the line.
It keeps slipping. The words they keep slipping.
What's Satoru's best slip?
Definitely that one, it made Kayo feel like never before.
Imagine if it was you.
>slip shit about 9/11
>FBI gets you
>you will never go back in time, fix your fuckups, fix the fuckups of everyone around you, get all the legal loli pussy you can and win every lottery for the next decade
why do i even breathe
>doesn't tell America about 9/11
are we still at war?
I can already tell this is going to be one of those "all the cool kids watch it and you're a fag if you criticize anything about it" shows going forward. How's it feel to be the new Kyoani A-1?
Wow this show seems to kind of hits all the right spots on everything including the op and ed. It might not be 10/10 but its getting up there. I will read the manga afterwards to enjoy it more.
I cry every time. ;_;
But seriously, the direction in this is pretty fucking ace.
I was a bit concerned given the pacing in the first episode, but this episode was fantastic.
honestly he's pretty shit. you'll notice it immediately whenever he tries to raise his voice or act emotional. he's typecast for this and he doesn't seem any good outside his range
He's her favorite though.
I´m just giving you the benefit of doubt that you have been watching nothing but shitty anime with beta faggots your entire life. Or maybe you just love those walk into shower scenes and the MC screaming like a little bitch.
Yeah, he was alright this episode but it was mostly just narration.
He shows emotions all the time, are you autistic or something?
What are you even talking about?
The dude is an accomplished live action actor, anon. The director didn't like how the voice actors sounded so fake and wanted some authenticity to this down to earth character. Hence why he picked both old and young version to have live action actors to voice them. Watching the two sync up the 'I don't want to lie to you' line makes me think he'll do just fine alongside Aoi Yuki.
That attempt at a recovery.
Real smooth, Satoru.
Next chapter covers the rest of today's episode and the first part of next week's.
