Yeah they don't seem to hit things that are under 10k JPY (before shipping) , even if the total package is a lot more. I've gotten multiple packages without fees that were over 20k JPY total, but nothing inside alone was over 10k, but I've received single figures that cost around 11k and they ding them every time.

They really need to put exceptions in for collectable things that aren't available domestically. I don't even mind paying the sales tax, but the whole point of duty fees are to give incentive to buy domestically, which is impossible for stuff like this.

Guy that bought something from tamarket the other day, it took eight days to get here and didn't arrive in the best condition. However, I ended up paying almost half the price the item is on YA, so bad packaging is fine when the item is fine.

So it's slow, gave no tracking and overpriced but has some rare items at decent prices. Surprised that something Australian wasn't garbage.

That isn't exactly a ringing endorsement for Cu-poche, it really just depends on what you wanna do with them.

Nendos become addicting and then you realize they're sort of a waste for the reasons listed above. They're cute, but don't fall into the trap.

I feel that way about figmas too.
More than half the time their peg doesn't go all the way through their back so you have a figure that detaches from their base too easily, and with new figmas always only hand will refuse to detach from their new wrist ball joint so you have to leave it like that for a month or so till it softens up.

That's kind of why I like Nendos. They're great for indecisive people like me. I feel bad if I don't play with my Cu-poches or clothe them or something, but I'm fine treating Nendoroids like cheap statues. Especially with series like Monster Hunter where there's so much stuff that it's hard to keep statues in scale with each other.
