Favourite sports anime is Hajime no Ippo. Hype as fuck, the animation is good even for its time, the theme music is sick as, and there's no superpower bullshit like in KnB (which I still liked).

This sounds good thanks for pointing it out! I watched Oofuri a while back and since i did know nothing about baseball i read myself into the rules while watching. It's a pretty interesting sport i think.
There also was a new manga some months ago about baseball but i can't remember the name. Something about a monster catcher or something. I'll try to find it.

And yeah i also watch Haikyuu and enjoy it a lot. E21 or Baby Steps is what i wanted to watch/read next.


Is there any Icehockey or even Hockey manga? I think it would make an interesting thing to watch.

Ones outs and Eyeshield I watched close to back to back and were enjoyable as one of the main characters is basically the same person looks/personality.

Baby Steps has an enjoyable story except the animation quality is fairly low so should give it a try, it does improve but if that bothers you the story is still fun.

"Stride" just started airing aswell but not sure if its good or not.

And yes i wanted to watch BS because i heard the guy really starts at zero and it goes further than only shool sport. Also no magic stuff wich is always kinda weird imo.

It wasn't great, but it was fun enough. It was the first sports anime I watched, so it was a funny change of pace going from standard shonen battles to basketball.

Yeah, It is boring at the start with the whole shit team searching for players and sena just isnt that interesting at the start.
The further you go though it becomes awesome we great games.

I've been watching it since it started airing and it has always been the anime I look forward to the most.

I've also watched One Outs, Oofuri, Major, Cross Game and I'll soon start on Touch.

I really disliked Daiya at first but grown fond of it over time. It's ok. Nowhere near Cross Game, Touch or Major level but at the very least enjoyable.
