How are you /a/nons going to get around not being able to torrent

This is a blue board which means that it's for everybody (Safe For Work content only). If you see any adult content, please report it.

How are you /a/nons going to get around not being able to torrent anime after the 4th of February when the TPP gets signed in Auckland, New Zealand?

Pirating will be 100% illegal, no such thing as "fair use", or personal use, it is illegal to attempt to circumvent DRM ever, and double illegal to distribute it obvious. Nothing changed? No more warning letters either, IP violation fines will be handed out. There will be special courts set up just for this.
ISPs will be legally required to monitor and takedown content.

All of the anime sites are just displaying content hosted elsewhere, probably in Russia or some shit. Bonus points to the ones using CloudFlare.

First off, you shouldn't be using a free VPN at all.
Second, not all VPN providers are the same.

>How are you /a/nons going to get around not being able to torrent anime after the 4th of February when the TPP gets signed in Auckland, New Zealand?
By being able to torrent anime just like usual? Nothing will change.

>Pirating will be 100% illegal
It always was.

>no such thing as "fair use"
I'm not using their content, but rip any youtuber that does or someone that posts what he does somewhere publicly.

>it is illegal to attempt to circumvent DRM ever
As always since the dawn of time.

>and double illegal to distribute it obvious
It was always illegal to distribute pirated things, didn't stop anyone. Doubling a finite thing doesn't do anything.

>Nothing changed?
Yeah pretty much.

>No more warning letters either
What warning letters? What is that even?

>IP violation fines will be handed out
And you're starting to lose me with your actual technical ineptness of being first day on the internet.

>ISPs will be legally required to monitor and takedown content
Right. citation needed. No statement with that exact wording exists.
So no.

Now please go, this was your complete personal TPP guide, good day.

You're sounding like my mother.

But seriously folks, you should realize that there are several technologies that are more robust than BitTorrent. Freenet is designed to be resistant to even China-grade state censorship and control, and there's also I2P and a number of other such systems. Filesharing isn't dead, because it is immortal.

Knowing piracy in general, bet nothing gonna happen, and if something happen my country (Mexico), gonna give 0 fucks.
Or i can go to some stupid Tianguis and some fat faggot gonna sell series for a very cheap price, and if that doesn't work, i have a CR account.

Boogeyman.
In Russian situation was even worse, but nothing stopped piracy. They even start backpedaling after blocking wikipedia, because of uproar.

If you think about it, we really are in the golden age of distribution as far as media goes. You can get whatever the fuck you want for the most part for absolutely free in most cases. It is easier now than ever in the history of fucking anything to get media.

All good things must come to an end unfortunately.

Doubt this will affect anime though. Have any of you ever gotten a DMCA notice from downloading anime? I never have. I really doubt TPP would really do shit to anime, it's too nice of a thing. Maybe I'm just being naive though.

Eating through my 600GB AB buffer just in case though.

It gets worse. Not everything has been revealed. Businesses overseas have more power to enforce copyright rules, land you with a fine and then court than what they did before. Forcing IPS to keep an eye on every customer now and enforce the law. In the past they gave warnings but now they get told to get or they're in trouble. Foreign bussinesses can even challenge to the point of stopping changes of countries laws now too because of the tpp.

People will simply host piracy on servers located in countries that aren't agreeing to TPP nonsense.
