>Japan not liking Deku/Uravity mutual spaghetti
Holy...every time I think they have quality taste, they prove time and time again how much shit taste they have too.
I think that's just there for the audience's benefit so we know when he's using OFA, I doubt anyone can actually see his skin changing or lightning arcing off him in-universe.
Poor Grapes. Well, at least I like him well enough.
>BnHA spoilers out at the same time as One Piece, Bleach and the other shonen series.
So it's started, the rising outside of Japan.
I only hope the Naruto kids stay with well, naruto when the new series starts and in black clover, and elave our threads in peace, withonly our usual frog spammer.
Will we get a banquet of the night this chapter?
Tsuyu is by Aoi Yuki. Girl's on a roll snagging all these high-profile roles (recently OPM's Tornado)
And Mineta by Ryo Hirohashi. Interesting. Can't think of a male-ish role she's done but I'm sure she's up to it. She can do cheeky alright.
ochako is not so thick in the anime so praising real body type may not happen if that makes you feel any better.
His shadow is strongest in complete darkness, but it's also harder for him to control. He's had a couple of days to train his ability to control his shadow in total darkness, but as the story so far has made a point of showing that growth is a gradual thing, I'm sure that, if he gets any attention on him, his shadow will still be pretty wild but just controllable enough to help.
Do we have any source on this yet just to confirm?
デク｢だいっ… 大丈夫だよ洸汰くん…(やるしかないんだ 今)
I almost dropped OP on the fisherman island arc, I glad I didn't do because the dofa arc was great. Now it's goen to shit again.
But bleach is fun, kubo's asspulls and shenanigansare great and anons speculating and theorycrafting and lauging in the wekly threads are the best part actually.
Didn't see this posted. Thought we could use some deku in our life.
>All these deleted posts
Man what a bunch of shitters.
It's the shonen way.
Here the real TOC and BnHA is in 4th place. Dance manga got a color page so it's not ranked.
I ain't a frog-fag but damn she looks good in this
>the faggot trying to stir up shit got all his posts deleted and hopefully temporarily banned
Good lookin out, mods.
Some bullshit chapter where Asta, Luck, and portal guy from the Black Bulls go to a mixer. Asta gets a normal girl craving for his dick for no reason this chapter, too. Basically, nothing happened.
>have ice and fire powers
>make sure your face in split in the middle and you have white hair and reddish brown hair and a burned side
>Get it? he has fire AND ice powers
>The white hait stands for ICE and the red/brown for FIRE
That's so uninspired and lazy. I literally, not kidding you, drew my own fire/ice hybrid MC like that when i was 6.
>Some bullshit chapter where Asta, Luck, and portal guy from the Black Bulls go to a mixer.
That's it? What the fuck?
I was thinking the same thing. Tsuyu isn't especially thick in the manga, especially in comparison to some of the other girls, but she definitely wasn't this skinny.
I'd still cum on her frog legs, though
's imoutoKA YO! I find her voice erotic lately.
And now, fucking Grapes.
>Can't even bother to capitalize
That's my point.
>boiling water will leave such a horrendous scar
>engulfing your entire body in fire and/or ice will leave no marks.
He had an abusive father, we get it. The flashback shows that, no need to permanently draw a shitty scar on the character.
it has more than enough to do a 26 episode season but yeah even if they did the One Piece thing it would still be pretty bad since one piece sails on its popularity so who cares if the OP is almost ten miniutes
Let Naruto go man~ just let it gO~ I know it popped your cherry... just let it go. Its not your fault.
So how badly does Deku get stomped in front of kouta?
How will that even work?
Half of the chapters so far are nothing but school trips and tournaments. After the second arc, there are no villain fights anymore.
It's really bad and i don't think the current arc will be finished when they need to animate the last few episodes.
I can already see the revival of the "Bakugou is going to go full Sasuke" discussions
well, if they do a straight adaptation a do the normal 1 episode for two chapters thing that will put the show right at the end of the stain arc which is pretty good place to stop
>Omg autist will judge me on /a/
On my phone don't feel like changing it. Not shitposting either. Especially if Deku is up against that crazy fuck with the eye he's getting stomped or i call bullshit
>On my phone
Understandable than, i fucking hate typing on phones
Over simplifyin' something and it will make it look familiar to Naruto.
Too much observation will make anything look unique.
This is why Onodera is the best girl.
Because it's a power that can be extrapolated on endlessly without much effort.
Also despite the diversity of powers in the Justice League Supes is still the strongest. Super strength and neigh-invulnerability just kinda work.
But it's a difference between fire, ice and scalding hot water. just because fire also deals with heat doesn't mean he's just fully resistance to it. It only makes sense his power wouldn't just hurt him, but scalding hot water is a totally different situation. If because since your power makes you heat resistant to your element you shouldn't be burned at all, In that case denki electric also generates heat and I mean a lot so he shouldn't be burned by fire or such and same goes for kacchan. Sticking his hand in a fire shouldn't burn him. Hell since todo uses fire he probably shouldn't get out in the summer right
But it is lazy, you fucking drone.
Just look at One Piece to see how you can make unique powers make work.
But Deku is just lazy writing.
>well, i need a superpower for my MC
>i can use whatever my mind can imagine
>there are no rules i have to follow
>he can punch real hard
Quality writing, right here.
Is this Deku's real Quirk, a comedy relief or a secondary power of OFA?
The series has a hosy of unique superpowers and your bitching about the MC having a more basic one. Plus the series focus isn't on how Strange a power is but about seeing a powers growth or usage.
You want random retarded ass powers with no substance read bleach, thats lazy fucking writing.
You shouldn't use One Piece if you want to show good use of powers.
Oda had to invent Haki after 400 chapters, because he didn't know how to let the people defeat Logia users otherwise. And he is nerving characters without end. Kizaru could have handled Marineford himself, he is light but he didn't do shit.
Wow thats a really great idea anon, you should write manga or something
its not like that will lead to incredibly boring fights of the MC just tanking attacks and ironically still be a non-flying superman just the same

■ Turn off the way out Break open !!
How is that better than Deku who at the beginning only got the destructive use of OFA that fucked him up all the time, now has his Full Cowl and at the end will be able to destory buildings through wind pressure like All Might?
This is such an odd pick. Especially since most of her work involve female characters, and all the male are just little kids. I'm curious as how will Grapes sound now because I can't imagine her voice coming out of his character.
Froppy is 10/10, solid pick. Bless Aoi Yuki.
At best Conquerors Haki has been there from the beginning, but not the one to attack Logia users with. Oda didn't have this planned from the beginning, that's why Luffy won against Crocodile by using his natural weakness and against Enel because lightning doesn't work on rubber.
They already have TWO fucking characters with hardening, and pointed out thier similarities from the get go
Give him the ability to access a place of infinite storage. He cannot choose what he recieves, and the access point is his anus.
No Quirks fusing has been in the series since the first chapter, its the whole reason OFA even exists, it was the fusion between two quirks.
It would be weirder if every user of OFA in the past was quirkless. Also All Might dodges every question when it comes to what his power is, he could say its simple strength enhancing but he doesn't. There could be more powers hidden in OFA that Deku has to be strong enough to use.
All Might doesn't totally get OFA because while he was quirkless he was super swole to the point he could just use it like a natural.
the only thing he's really cagey about is the whole "will" of the power thing- and that implication is that giving OFA to someone gives away some part of you like your vital lifeforce or something; and that giving up OFA in his state is fatal even if he doesn't get killed by a villain.
All Might told Deku after his fight with Todoroki that he was quirkless, but OfA's previous wielder wasn't.
It'd be interesting if Deku could unlock other quirks and we got a couple chapters of him meeting the spirits of previous OfA users, then going to a library to read chapters on their heroic debuts.
>still won't be as strong as saitama or even garou
No one cares.
>still won't be as strong as saitama or even garou.
That can be said for almost every manga, why the fuck would that even matter.
That's like saying Superman is the best hero simply because he's strong as fuck without paying mind to his shallow as fuck personality or boring story.
If passing on One For All takes your lifeforce with it and causes you to die not long after that's kind of super fucked up that All Might didn't tell Midoriya that.
We don't know that for sure of course because All Might talking about his impending death is because of his injuries, or passing on OFA, or both.
How should he have told him that?
>Midoriya my boy, i forgot to tell you something before you ate that hair of my. In 1 year the transfer of OFA will be 100% complete, then it's your own Quirk and i won't be able to use it anymore. Also, at that time my body i will die and my body will turn into ashes. So good luck with your entrance exam today!
Well, it's not just that All Might will die, you've given a child a power that he's supposed to pass on that will in turn end his life too.
Provided the whole 6-7 generations of quirks is based on what's considered an official generation it has been ~130-150 years since quirks first showed up.
Meanwhile, we're on OFA holder #9. You don't need a calculator to know that doesn't add up to a long time if you average it out for holders of OFA. If this holds, Midoriya will be lucky if it makes it far into his 30's.
Kinda fucking irresponsible to not tell Midoriya that passing on OFA kills you if that happens to be true. Not knowing All For One was alive is fine, and he explained that later.
A lot of the foreshadowing indicates that All Might is dying right now- and won't live to see him graduate even if no one kills him.
Chinks from Ishuhui won't bring out anything today.
>Other jump comics are released on Friday (always pay attention to the website to update the table on the right). To be more party who do not stay up late.
Boku no Hero Academy is a manga genetically engineerd to appeal to imdbspawn /v/edditors with no sense of sophisication who laud meme dialog, which supports upvote groupthink mentality, and meme art with a good manga pandering reddit tier meta capeshit "entertainment" sensibilities and a meme manga aesthetic. This is a comic at best and will rightfully ruin Horkoshi's career.
>the zombie looking guy can shoot black fire
Hmm, i wonder if he might be evil
Geez, what will happen with the little horn guy? Will Deku make him change his mind about heroes? Will he pull himself together and help defeating the bad guy with his quirk?
Naw, This manga is not that predictable and full of overused cliches.
>Geez, what will happen with the little horn guy? Will Deku make him change his mind about heroes? Will he pull himself together and help defeating the bad guy with his quirk?
>Naw, This manga is not that predictable and full of overused cliches.
Yeah, no fucking way the kid doesn't save everyone at the end by using his quirk and make a 180 on heroes.
>Every edge weapon known to man
>Held together by belts, chains, and zippers, probably some duct tape too
>Literally a Stain meme
IKR? Jeez why can't we have just ONE shonen manga wherr the MC grts killed or the villains are the good guys, or people don't change or achieve thejr goals. GOD why can't there be a manga out their that reflects the sadness and failure of my life instead of all these forced cliches? What happened to realism? All the manga are so preditctable I mean status quo -conflict - resolution? Its like they aren't even trying anymore
As bad as Naruto was, Kisame was a great character and Samehada was an interesting weapon with cool abilities and design.
A kid getting over his parents brutal murder by accepting the system that got them killed because a dude saved him once is pretty lame even accepting cliches.
cliches aren't bad, they just aren't INTERESTING unless you put a spin on them. Playing them straight with no irony makes them fucking suck.
>accepting the system that got them killed
He's like someone hating firefighters because his firefighter parents died in a fire.
>Fighting fires gets people killed!
>If we get rid of firefighters who'll stop fires?
He doesn't have any legitimate points. He's just an angry kid. Maybe seeing heroes actually trying to protect people will jar him out of his angst.
That's not really the same thing though?
The hero system itself is fucked up; it turns criminals into "villains" which aggrandizes them. It's a system that basically puts people who're actually in it for the love of the game (All Might, maybe Kouta's parents I imagine) with costumed assholes who sell stuff on TV and snipe eachothers work.
Even if they're "necessary" I don't think Kouta's wrong for thinking Heroes AND Villains are bullshit.
Not enough material yet, quality would suffer tremendously and the point of an anime is to boost the manga.
WT was the last long running anime from WSJ and you can see how it helped the manga, because it didn't.
Well i mean, him saying another after it happened once would be correct right? Sort of.
Still I can get the sentiment, I wish the plot would either take a small break or advance further into an actual something.
Yeah, it happened once so i don't understand him saying as if it's happening all the time.
The attack at USJ was that one time. After that there were only 2 other villain encounters, against Stain and Shigaraki in the mall. Both of these times weren't some kind of villain attack where they wanted to kill the students and targeted them. Ida targeted Stain and was the one who created that fight. Shigaraki met Deku by chance.
Villains turn themselves into villains. All for One is the best example, as he became king of villains before the hero system even existed.
Sure, the publicly funded system draws in people who only want fame and money, but what's the alternative? A system where people fight crime out of the kindness of their hearts is a system where not many people fight crime. It's like the old anarchist argument that if we didn't have the police, people would police themselves. Strangely enough, when police funding or numbers are cut back we get more crime.
In while back the USA decided that selling organs was wrong, so transplants could only be done when people chose to donate organs our of the kindness of their hearts. This has led to thousands of people dying waiting for transplants.
>trying to start shit by saying something that is common knowledge
>Villains met Class A during their invasion, Eraserhead was helpless to save his students as they were sent all voer the place with the warping quick from fog dude.
>Iida find Stain as he's about to kill a pro hero, who is useless in the fight, and neither Deku nor Icyhot brought an adult with them (granted the Noumu invasion was happening)
>Deku and Hands meet by chance at the mall, heroes can't respond fast enough to catch him
>Being so shit at recognizing similar stories structure you're probably going to argue all of thoses are super differents.
You're fucking retarded anon,really
This series is doing great in all of those aspects.
Everyone is bitching and moaning that the story isn't catered to their specific tastes
You faggots need to keep in mind that this is a job at the end of the day, and his position in jump can be snatched away at any moment. Hori HAS to still stick to a certain formula to make it speakingfor tthisyounger generation
Not every shonen reader is a 25 year old neet neckbeard
Why does he need too? You just explained how different all those cases were. The only common thread is that the villains attack the kids and if that's pissing you off you need to read a different manga
Youre looking at it wrong. They're edgy and evil because they look that way. Product of their society associating looks with personality. If you get treated like shit, chances are youre going to become one.
Im bad at explaining myself, but you should get the idea
Some of them overcome it, not everyones the same.
>see threads of this all the time
>all this hype about frog girl
>"fuck it, fine. I'll check it out."
It's actually better than I'd expected, but my one problem is you fuckers.
You're constantly posting about Frog when you SHOULD be posting Best Girl
eh, I'll just be overly pedantic here since I know that looking into the "superhero as a job" premise too deeply is really dumb because it just makes more sense to have a police unit that's allowed to use their superpowers:
I think the hero system is bad because IMO it glorifies crime as much as it does heroism.
It's super cool to be a superpowered person in a costume that whoops the badguys' asses in front of everyone and saves the day.
There's just as many people who find it really awesome to be a "villain". Like, being a "villain" denotes some status and notoriety- being a piece of shit criminal doesn't.
Like spree shooters are typically referred to as manics and mass murderers or subhuman monsters in our world- and them being killed or captured is reported in the tone of someone putting down a rabid animal. "Psychopathic spree shooter gunned down in the street by police. 10 dead."
You put them in MHA's world? "A dastardly villain took the lives of 10 people today before being subdued by the courageous heroes. News at 11, and the interview with the costumed asshole that defeated him!"
Shit, I'd be tempted to be a villain in MHA's world. I could fucking terrorize the kids all by myself if I could smuggle some firearms into Japan. You think being able to make explosions matters when some dude walking the opposite direction of you has his hands tucked into his jacket, and fires a small-calibur handgun through his own jacket 3 times into your chest when he walks by you at touching distance?
Get Uraraka's address from a public directory; figure out her path to and from school. Walk up behind her and cut her throat in a blind alley. Done. Grab her tight enough and she can make us float all she wants with a pocket knife buried in her larynx.
Definitely the best girl.
Great resume anon, welcome to the villain allaince.
All of your creepy planning to murder children aside you make a goof argument and i think the series has also been trying to open up a conversation in verse about that idea.
I think its easy as adults living our lives to assume either the worst or best in people, but we kind of forget that everyone is capable of anything and despite how fucked up the internet may make it seem, most people have enough of a moral compass to want to protect and preserve life...at least the lives that are important to that person.
You're never going to have everyone see the same thing when presented with a scenario, its not like the police force is a Bastian of morality either in reference to your police force allowed to use quirks idea. But if even a large amount or as we see in series the Majority are for usibg their abilities to preserve peace than there is value in having heroes
This is why i need feminism.
Momo's quickness will stop his slow powerful swings
The creepy planning is basically me just saying what the mafia did in the 70's before the FBI got their shit together. The mafia for example were able to kill police and other hardened experienced criminals because...well, really most people just don't have the reaction time to handle someone pulling a small .38 from a wrist hoster, putting it in your face/chest, and emptying the cylinder when you're getting out of your car or walking out of your front door or a restaurant or whatever.
Most of these kids would be dead if villains did what fat greaseballs did to other fat greaseballs in Chicago/Vegas/etc in the 70's. It'd certainly get the same message across if not moreso if some 2-bit hitman shot Bakugou in the head at point blank range in front of god and everyone when he was half-asleep getting off the train to school.
People hate the police now because they lack discipline when it comes to their gravest responsibility: the authorization to use lethal force under more circumstances than civilians- and the ability to be armed in places civvies can't.
Everything about the heroism job encourages bad behavior. From the endorsements, to needing to be popular/visible to really make any money, to your pay being determined by how many people you catch (you may as well be a bounty hunter...), having to fight villains but NOT actually having the authority to use lethal force or actually even ARREST people (and this is all in the manga), etc.
Police get corrupted by their authority, or by shitty pay making them feel a need to abuse their authority because it's the only perk that makes the pay worth it. Or they lack the discipline needed for the job because the pay for the work sucks and no one wants to do it.
Because it Horikoshi only read American comics in the 90s it seems.
I demand goofy looking Silver Age villains!
How do you know it's a coincidence? This villain probably specifically went after this kid.
In fact, maybe he's been tracking this kid and the Pussy cats for a while and that's how the villains knew how to find this place.
XMen, only 80%+ of the world expressed the X-Gene instead of 1%.
150 years later after all of the social upheaval is done, superpowers ("Quirks") are the norm. There's the police who actually make arrests and focus on investigations and complicated crimes, and heroes who bust criminals who act out in the open. Heroism is a job, you can go to school for it.
A rare kid with no quirk wants to be a hero, he manages to impress the #1 hero in the country- a golden-age superman analog called All Might. Turns out his quirk can be passed down (someone that is completely unheard of and no one knows), and he gives it to the quirkless guppy because he's basically dying and can't be a hero much longer.
Kid manages to make it into the premiere heroism school in the nation- but also inherits his mentor's enemies.
Super shounen premise, but it's done pretty well.
This guy is gonna be the next big enemy, i know it.
>it just makes more sense to have a police unit that's allowed to use their superpowers:
You just know that in the America of BnHA that's how it goes. There, people can use their quirks much more freely, but the cops and the government crack down hard on anyone that causes trouble.
I really hope we see what the rest of the world is like instead of just Japan. How can All-Might be the world's Number One hero if he spends all his time in Japan?
Two things. Hagakure's pose looks way too stiff. All I can see is her head, trunk, hips and legs. Where are the arms? You should be able to see at least the upper part of the arms. Right now she seems to sleep like Tutankhamon.
Also, Tsuyu is so cute, even her way of sleeping is so proper.
Ochako still a best
Maybe she is flipped on the futon, with her feet on the pillow.
Certain officers also have quotas to fill too so its the similar issue with the hero case. Also the other thing to keep in mind is that given the powers in this world, its much more heavily surveyed not to mention the likely hood of you getting away with a crime is rather slim unless you're a cut above the rest (which because of comic logic every villain we've seen is a cut above the rest lol)
As they said too weapons dealing has been cracked down upon a lot on that verse so the chances of someone whipping out a gun in broad daylight is pretty slim.
Thing is, whether you're police or a civilian if you gain some level of power or authority you're going to want to use it in some way, some will use it for good some will use it for bad.
But as for the popularity and pay thing yea the series itself even points out how fucked up that is. The system is broke there lol.
Maybe because of his parents he ended up in prison, got that huge scar on his face and some other shit happened?
Maybe that villain had a daughter and wanted to steal money for her medicine, but Kouta's parents prevented that and while that guy was in prison his daughter died?
>I think the hero system is bad because IMO it glorifies crime as much as it does heroism.
I'm sorry anon, but this is a stupid argument. That's like saying the police create murderers and rapists.
These people would be villains even if there weren't any heroes.
In fact, Batman the Animated Series already dealt with this in one of its best episodes.
I'm swamped today and don't have time to TL. Chinkscans will probably be out before I get a chance. Sorry guys, the break over the new year made me forget to keep Thursday clear for this.
Chinks won't release anything before friday and right now they are close to 4am. Even if they would start scanlating in 4 hours they wouldn't be done with BnHA in the next 8 hours.
>Monoma is forced to unite with Class A guys
>becomes tsundere for Class A afterwards
>w-well I guess you b-bastards kinda deserved all that glory or something...
Can't wait for spaghettis.
anon shitposters falseflagging does not make it true
>Monoma and the rest can make Dabi flee
>They are happy and want to find the other ones to help them
>They meet Bakugo who is holding a severe wounded Froppy
>Bakugo to Monoma: Are you happy now. This is what happens when villains attack. Here, take a good look at all this glory on my hands.
Your point being?
That doesn't change the fact that villains will be villains regardless of if there's any heroes. If anything, if there weren't heroes there would be more villains since the heroes serve as a deterrent.
>batman not solving pre existing problems.
All right and if batman wasn't in Gotham who would defeat all the crazy there or would they all just decide that since batman isn't there, there is no longer a reason to be a villian.
The cops in Gotham are just as shitty actually I would say worst then in MHA as they not only really help the problem but they also are they problems.
Well now I feel bad for doing nothing. He's the first page, I'll try and get back to do the rest.
>Aww... We wanted to do the test of courage too...
>The saying is the candy and the stick, so where's the candy?
>Even salty licorice is fine... So please give us candy Sensei...
>Salty licorice is delicious.
>In this supplementary lesson, I'll teach you how to act in an emergency situation.
>You all lagged behind the others, not realizing that the gap between you is gradually widening.
>And in a broad sense this is candy too, peppermint flavor.
>Peppermint is delicious.
>No. 74 Signal Fire
>Woah, that's strange!! There are five whole failures in the excellent class A!?
>While Class B has only one?! That's strange!!! [Raughs]
>How did you get this obnoxious mentality!!
So you honestly think the joker out of all the villians would give up just because batman is no more.
Yes joker fixation is on batman, because he sees him as fun and wants to prove something but at the end of the day the joker just wants to cause chaos.
Of course, My child-like mind was fucking floored at that thought.
Multi-villain episodes were always the best, seeing how they interact with one another. Another one would be the Courage episode where they all play dodgeball.
D-don't make fun of best boy!
He is gonna defeat Dabi, you'll see.
Yeah, but once he has those quirks, he's never trained how to use them, meaning he won't be able to fight like all the other heroes and villains could. Like if he copied One for All he'd fucking break every bone in his body on the first try.
Someone like him would have to receive training on how to use different type of quirks. It would not break him if he doesn't use it if he doesn't use more than he can control.
I'm totally going to be shirking work for this, but I think I can get away with it.
>Even today he's still talking smack the same as ever...
>I'm worried about his mind.
>Brad, this time I wanted to get them in some practice.
>I was thinking the same thing! I didn't even have to say it!
>It's Mandalay's 'Telepathy'.
>I like it~ The way it shoots through you.
>I can't communicate that way though, so it's a bit awkward.
>Two villains have attacked! And there's a possibility that there may be more!
>Anyone who can move, get inside the facility immediately!!
>Absolutely do not meet the enemy in battle, escape!!
>Wha...!? Why are villains...
>Brad, I ask that you stay here. I'll go and protect the students.
>Did we not detect them!!?
>I don't want to think about it...!
Yep. I think he can store more than that, too. He has a 5 minute time limit for each ability copied, though. I wager the things he'll have to train are being able to use multiple quirks at once, increasing the limit, if any, of quirks he can copy, and increasing the amount of time he can use those quirks. CQC, strength, and stamina training seem like a must for any hero, no matter what kind of quirk you have. In Monoma's case, it's probably recommended, especially if he copies a strength enhancing quirk. Monoma has the potential be a stupid strong character for Class-B, much like Momo for Class-A.
Seriously, if he was on a squad with people whose quirks he's familiar with, he would be a huge threat by himself. Easiest way would be to just copy Shinsou's mind rape alongside a binding ability and he could easily solo capture a bunch of villains.
>Your concern is getting ahead of you, Eraserhead.
>Don't interfere pro hero, it's not you I have business with.
I like some characters in Black Clover to be honest.
But that guy who is currently in focus (Gauche I think) is absolutely horrible, I think I've never hated fictional character that much.
