Hibike Euphonium is the best anime Kyoani has ever made
It's good that for sure
>who have crushes on boys
That's not what it's about, it's a coming-of-age story about a high school orchestra.
And OP is wrong that it's the best anime they've ever made because it's not even fucking over yet.
1. K-On! (pinnacle of Japanese animation)
2. Lucky Star
3. Tamako Market
5. Kyoukai no Kanata
Enjoyed them all, but didn't really care for Hibike's second half.
I've seen Air and Kanon but I don't really remember what happened in them desu. Haven't seen Free or FMP.
Keion is the #1 show that changed anime forever
>There are people who do not yet recognize K-on as the masterpiece that it is
I feel genuinely sorry for you fampai.
I'm assuming most of you are having a laugh, but K-ON! legit is Kyoani's weakest non-Key and work aside from Tamako Market, Chuu2Ren and Free.
>having taste this shit
No, K-on was superb
K-On! was so good that Tamako Market is one of my favorite Kyoani's simply because it tried to be like K-On!
If Kyoani ever made another K-On! clone, it would probably be one of my favorite shows as well.
Absolutely it is.
I need more Hibike in my life
A KyoAni thread habitually full of plebians and retards. Why this happens, I wonder. It's not like KyoAni is a bad studio, but for some reason it attracts the most unspeakable morons. Is it because KyoAni is so entry level thanks to all those dank memes around it?
K-On is well received upon intellectuals
It's always the memes Jack.
>Keion has its charm
Yeah, it makes up for the complete lack of imagination evident in the work. Almost like I can see it was extremely fun to work on. I'll definitely watch the second season and movie when I get the chance.
I found Hibike drab and unengaging. It demonstrates the same lack of creativity and wallowing in cliches, but it lacks character. I acknowledge it's a technically superior work. It's hard to get in specifics since it left so little impression.
Rather than worry about us, why do you hate K-ON so much, lad?
Sure these people are memeing, but they're memeing from a basis of true feelings. K-ON is a very good anime.
>Lucky Star over Haruhi
No fuck you, I've decided that this is bullshit and we, yes we, deal with an actual top 6 now.
I can go with these lists.
Nope. Refer to
Disappearance is the high point of KyoAni.
>Top three happens to be three worst non-Key adaptions
Hibike Season 2 is probably going to be the best Kyoani anime
The initial director was so bad that they fired him after episode 3 or so and then it turned into AOTD
>people actually liking Hyouka
No wonder Shaft will always be better if that borefest is the best Kyoanus has to offer.
Lucky Star is a landmark anime that proved the feasibility of cute girls doing cute things without any plot or humor. It's culturally important for heralding a new era of anime, plus the show itself constantly pays homage to the preceding era of anime culture. It's Kyoani's Otaku no Video, only it changed anime forever.
It has other qualities as well, like Horiguchi the character designer who would afterwards create the style the studio has been ripping off ever since. It has Yamakan drama surrounding it. It has Shiraishi live action singing and dancing before his face got paralyzed. It has Aya Hirano before she was slut shamed into exile. Lucky Star is a time capsule into the year 2007.
And yet another anime that has gorgeous visuals and sound that /a/ hypes up to no end. I can admit presentation wise this show is fantastic but plot and character wise it is ehh at best. Huruchi is better....hell Hyouka is better than this as well.
Stop sucking this off and see the damn light you faggots.
The best part of Kyoani is all their shows have a certain charm that no other studio can replicate.
So even their most mediocre shows are massively enjoyable, simply because its Kyoani.
Because it has a lot of details in character interaction and background characters that foreshadow events, develop background side stories, and sometimes gives more hidden hints to some of the mysteries. Hyouka was directed with a lot of attention to detail, and with every rewatch you can focus on different parts of the story, the screen, and even the characters to see sides of the story that you didn't in previous watches.
But I already saw everything the first time because I'm not oblivious
The only thing I ever had to go back and look at was to see if
the candle was already gone like I thought it would be
