When it was all about naruto sticking a giant middle finger to everyone who looked down on him, the series was GOLD. Him fighting someone, everyone counting him out, them getting btfo and it shut them up. Good god That's why when the whole village celebrated his victory over Pain it MEANT something. Naruto worked for that. He worked his ass off when nobody had his back except for Iruka, Jiraiya and Kakashi. (Sakura and and Sasuke don't count cause they were just like everyone else, in fact, they were worse.)
