It's not in the Baccano Anime but the Nebula organisation from Durarara is in Baccano. I haven't read the novels myself so I'm not sure how important they are to the story but I know they are searching for immortality.

like said, Durarara!! is literally Baccano: 2010's edition, which the creators made since Baccano wasn't that successful in Nippon.

Ironically, DRRR is now getting its 3rd season. Which I'm quite glad, as I like the series.
