If that little house was made by Araragi, who put the rock into it? Did he do that too and completely forgotten about it?
And how would Oshino know about that?
Also, skipping chapters again, meaning the cat is involved again?
Yeah, he put the rock into his failed shop class thing. He failed to identify it because
a) shitty memory and Kizu just happened a few days ago
b) he was focusing on the rock and took the shrine being a shrine for granted.
Bad memory is definitely a bad plot device, but it's only played a part in Sodachi Lost and the first episode of Koyomimonogatari so far.
This particular instance of bad memory is just supposed to be funny, and it's to make the point that, depending on what context you view something in, your perspective on it changes. His forgetting is just to reinforce that point - Nisio could have easily not made it Araragi's shed.
>Ugly hanekawa again
As far as Sodachi goes, the anime forgot to mention that his parents took protective custody of quite a few other kids. Araragi's other memories of her were actively repressed. He knew about Sodachi all along and just didn't admit it until Ougi forced him to.
The Sodachi one I could buy. Yeah it was kind of a stretch but it made a little sense.
The rock shed nonsense is just dumb. No ones memory is that god awful. Especially since, as far as I can tell, Araragi having a bad memory was never a consistent character trait of his. Though maybe I'm just misremembering.
He doesn't have a bad memory, he just forgets shit he doesn't want to remember.
That's one of the reasons
Ougiexists, to force him to remember and admit the shit he wants to forget.
>Did an oddity gave you shitty taste, or did your shitty taste become an oddity?
It was 2 years ago, and Kizu just happened a few days ago. Give him a break.
To be more specific, he didn't think of his own shed as a possibility because, in the context of the rock, it was clearly a shrine. He didn't give the shrine being a shrine a second thought.
But that doesn't make sense.
If Araragi mentioned the same thing to Hanekawa and she figured it out, it would make sense. She likely memorized all of the curriculums and schedules, because that's the kind of insane thing she would do. And it would be easy for her to connect the dots.
But how would Oshino know any of that?
God, I miss him
The guy is part of a huge network of Specialists. The shrine being there for two years never had a blip on his radar. Also, he's practical enough to know that not everything is some sort of paranormal phenomenon.
Also, let's be honest. Do you remember shit you made in highschool? Especially something that was really shitty?
I thought this couldnt be more retard than Owari
If I think back to shop class, sure. I'm still salty about the fucker who won a bridge building competition by soaking his shitty design in epoxy. Then again, Araragi's memory of the "shrine" is like how I get with old acquaintances.
I usually don't like megane, but Hanekawa is super cute.
>Reading Nisio's interview
>Nisio: I was able to continue to write Monogatari series only thanks to Anime adaptation. If it weren't there, I would close this story a long ago. Fans of the series who have liked this series from the beginning, would know there were many chances to close the story.
Since Shaft keep making this series animated because there is source material remained, this eternal cycle will never ever end.
The whole series through Zokuowarimonogatari has great closure, so it would have been a shame to end it earlier. Although the new novels are probably just milking things, I don't mind as long as it focuses on less-used characters.
Single braid cat > Double braid cat
I am directly reading a pamphlet I bought from Kizu screening
Nisio also mentioned that continuing this series is like digging down about a certain undeveloped character.
>digging down about a certain undeveloped character.
This doesn't make sense. A lot of characters are undeveloped. Which is he referring to specifically? Rouka, Tadatsuru, Tooe, Karen, Tsukihi, Sodachi, the list goes on.
Ah right, that makes much more sense now. I can agree with his sentiment there and don't actually mind if he did that.
I'm sure everyone wants the exorcist's college years as a book to expand on their characters.
>I'm sure everyone wants the exorcist's college years as a book to expand on their characters.
This is what I want the most. Also more Sodachi, regardless of whether or not she encounters a kaii at some point.
>Koyomin doesn't sing the OP
>not only reused soundtrack but also reused footage
I new they were only gonna be 15 minute shorts but im slightly disappointed. Oh well, maybe the others will be better.
