But that's the thing, from her perspective knowing everyone else's thoughts was just normal because she was born like that, and we naturally project our own abilities on others. In her mind, everyone can do that because there's little to prove otherwise.

I watched this show on netflix and dropped it.
It was incredibly boring and unoriginal.
The main guy was just fucking stupid and annoying.
The blue haired chick does nothing interesting, and her backstory is just forced.
The only character I thought was decent was the midget.

The grandfather, mother, and psychic chick are just incredibly uninteresting.

Honestly? I liked the show. The humor had its self aware charm, they tried DOING THINGS with the characters, They made Kotoura sympathetic, and the MC was actually a strong MC who gave zero fucks.

My take is that we learned more about Kotoura in like... what? 7 minutes? Than some shows spend 25 episodes building. We get her established, we feel for her, and then we see her getting to move forward. It then takes itself somewhat seriously while also lampooning psychic detective shows but actually manages to grow kotoura as a character from what we learn in episode 1. Could that have been done better? Oh you fucking know it. But I liked it as it was. I just kind of wish it could have gone on for more episodes.

This was the first show where I could tell the voice acting was shit even though I don't speak Japanese.
