>Ishiyama is trying real hard to humanize RBA and make us sympathize with them
>Hinted they're fighting for a just cause
>Is he gonna make them the true heroes of this story?
I don't think they're are meant to be the heroes I'm rooting for Bert after the latest chapter.
It looks like BRA are being forced by Zeke and they grew up to believe that they are fighting against a cursed nation, for whatever reason. That probably refers to the first king and the wall cult, and not the humans as a whole, which is why BRA started to have second thoughts.
Annie is love
Annie is life
Annie is everything
Annie a miracle of the universe
Annie might've done some things wrong, but she's still a beautiful person inside and out
Zeke seems to be a commander. Don't know why he didn't do the job himself though since he seems to be a lot stronger than all BRA combined yet he didn't do anything when people inside the Wall had no better idea how to defeat titans.
Remember the coordinate? Also there are hints implying the first king can somehow threaten titans. Maybe the wall people still have someways to deal with shifters or at least the monkey believes that. So he sending fodders to fight in his place before enter the battle himself after he can accurately measure the opponent's strength is reasonable.
Clear up some things for me boys, i'm a bit rusty on my manga.
1) Will serum that Levi has turn him into a mindless titan? Isn't using it quite dangerous and reckless?
2) Why did Historia's father turned into a colossal titan? Was Historia supposed to turn into it too?
3) Why do they use syringes if by just liking a bit of serum you can shift into a titan?
>Will serum that Levi has turn him into a mindless titan? Isn't using it quite dangerous and reckless?
Probably. Yes, the mindless titan will have to eat a shifter to become a shifter. Probably Reiner.
>Why did Historia's father turned into a colossal titan? Was Historia supposed to turn into it too?
The serum was named "strongest titan".Rod thought that it would have been perfect but he didn't know shit about it and It turned him into some kind of mindless monstruosity. Historia was supposed to turn into that titan and eat Eren to become a shifter with the coordinate.
3) Why do they use syringes if by just liking a bit of serum you can shift into a titan?
The serum evaporates when it's in contact with air. It needs to stay in an environment without air.
>1) Will serum that Levi has turn him into a mindless titan? Isn't using it quite dangerous and reckless?
That serum is not meant for Levi but for Erwin, Erwin will eat Zeke, turn into a titan shifter and become the final villain.
BRA are never going to be the heroes of the story but they are still going to be damn important. I think in the next couple of chapters we'll finally learn more about the titan hometown and why the people within the walls are considered so evil.
>Bert begs Eren to hear them out
>MT tells Eren a 2deep4u secret and convinces him to fight for their side
>Eren picks up Reiner and runs off with MT & co
>Later Annie wakes up and convinces Historia to come with her
>Everyone reunites with Ymir who is being held prisoner
>Incoming warrior village arc while SL pick their noses crying in the walls
This is how I want the rest of the story to go
>The serum was named "strongest titan".Rod thought that it would have been perfect but he didn't know shit about it and It turned him into some kind of mindless monstruosity
To be fair it was ridiculously strong for a mindless titan, probably would've been much stronger if turned into a shifter.
>MT tells Eren a 2deep4u secret and convinces him to fight for their side
>Eren joins the dark side
>Find a helmet and a mantel, both pitch black to make him look cool
>Twenty years later the son he has with Mikasa, who was made when she drugged him and ride his cock when he's unconscious and constantly brainwashed by Armin throughout his upbringing, fights his dad in a battle to death on the top of a burning castle
On a serious note, since Eren is a huge mothercon, the way Zeke can convince him is somehow making him believe the wall people're responsible for his mom's death.
Them being the true heroes and Eren slaying them in cold blood while they're trying to help him by convince him to join their righteous cause, Annie even confessing her love for him as him beheading her, only for him to find out about the truth later and descent into insanity would be the perfect ending for this series.
It's ok Mikasa, you are still Historia's prince
I think at this point we could make guesses.
>2000 years from now.
>Technological surpression within the walls.
Is this some timeline hijinks and the real world somehow got fucked over with Zeke and the warriors aiming to fix it?
Do you have any pics of Historia with long hair? I'm sad it's not canon, she would look about a thousand times more cute.
I had a feeling he was going to go this route ever since Annie's big reveal. I don't think that deep down they enjoy this but from their and/or their leaders point of view this is the only way for good of the humanity.
I think the whole thing about most of the world's population being destroyed is a flat out lie. I think most of the world is intact, very technologically advanced, and not overrun by the titans. I think the shifter village might be trying to prevent what the first king claimed already happened.
Does anyone else think that Erwin dad never got executed and escaped to the shifter village. I think he could be Annie's father. The way Riener was talking to Annie made it seem like her father used to live in the walls.
He is not an edgelord like some other guy said. He is supposed to pathetic, that's the whole fucking point. The strong and assertive one is actually the most unstable, and the weak and passive one is actually the most kindhearted and headstrong (we've already seen Bert's resolve in this chapter, i'm sure we'll see more of it in the next few chapters). It's not that hard people, it's like poetry, it's fucking rhymes.
Why would anyone hate Reiner? He's just messed up in the head, and it's not his fault he's like that. This mission has fucked up all of BRA permanently, blame MT for sending them to slaughter thousands of people instead of doing it himself
How is Bert suddenly the most kindhearted member of BRA when he's never saved any one in the SL outside of Reiner? Yeah, he's thoughtful about his only two friends but that's it. If anyone constitutes as that it would be Annie, who struggled the most with killing Marco.
Because he's an asshole. Bert and Annie are in the same mission as he is but they aren't little shits like Reiner. I don't care about his split personality, that doesn't excuse him from being an asshole.
>he's thoughtful about his only two friends
He's thoughtful about everyone.
He was thinking about Marco too, no matter how hard you try to twist the events of the chapter. The point of it was that Bert cares about more than RA unlike your headcanons, he's just too much of a passive pussy to act on it.
If he cared so much he would act on it but he doesn't. It's pointless when you watch your friends suffer and just think about helping them, that just makes you useless to them for emotional support.
Sure, but Bert still cares about RA more than the rest. He wants to end it without casualties but he's willing to kill people as soon as they get done with it. If he could do it without casualties he would have done it, but they seem to think there's no other way.
>>blew himself up badly injuring his former comrades
>>determined to blow himself up again for maximum casualties
He is not a saint, we are talking only about BRA here. Obviously he is still trying to win. And we don't even know why.
So you guys go from labeling him this kind person then backpedal and go "b-but he's not a saint". Perhaps you shouldn't elude to that then and making up shit about this character.
His heart is kind, his actions are not because he's forced to complete the mission. If he doesn't, someone else will anyway, since shifter powers can be passed down.
>Especially when compared to other characters
You misunderstood, I'm with you on that.
You seem to lack reading comprehension. I've never said he is the most kindhearted of fucking all. He is most kindhearted of BRA. Annie is not far behind, but we don't see the same resolve from her. Warrior Reiner seems to be the biggest Dick out of the Trio.
If he acts on it, MT kills him, simple as that. He threatened killing Reiner this chapter after all. He just wants to finish the mission with as few casualties as possible, which will still get people killed but better than failing there and having to kill even more in the process.
I disagree that he's the most kind out of BRA still. Annie was more blatantly emphathic towards her enemies than Bert was, hell even Reiner was with Connie despite what he said of humans in the new chapter. Not wanting to do the mission anymore seems to be a collective agreement among BRA in general so Bert isn't unique for that either.
Pretty much, although I'd argue Bert and Annie have similar resolve, they're on the same level I'd say. The main difference is that Bert follows the orders like a puppet because he's like that as a person, while Annie complains a little before having to do it.
>So the entire SL then
Possibly not. I mean everyone is assuming Bert will transform, but that's still not confirmed. He has a pillow around him to soften the fall after all. We will have to wait to see how that works out.
>hell even Reiner was with Connie
Remind me when this happened and was Reiner in his delusion-mode or not.
About Annie - whatever you think is right. It's hard to measure anyway. My original point was about juxtaposition of Reiner and Bert, and how Reiner is meant to be flawed (like they all are, to be honest). To me she seems to be the most self-centered one, just wanting to get back home.
I highly doubt he's planning to barely scathe the soldiers just because his barrel is padded a little but as you said, we shall see.
That's still apart of Reiner, plus we see that he's the one who is always trying to push Bert to do things and support him. On top of that he is honoring his promise to Ymir, someone they planned to sacrifice at their village. Also Reiner remarks how he doesn't expect much from Bert in return.
Don't get me wrong, I'm no Reinerfag especially after 77 but just using him to compare.
I'm not saying warrior Reiner is inherently a bad person but he sure treats everyone like shit and looks like he believes they are shit.
>Also Reiner remarks how he doesn't expect much from Bert in return.
Bert already saved him many times and stood by him during his mental breakdown, he's worthy of some appreciation but Reiner shits on him instead. If he was such a kind person, even deep down, he wouldn't have called him unreliable and insulted him on not being worthy of Annie, instead he would have positively supported him to become more assertive for his own good. The insults were uncalled for.
>Bert just sat there and cried.
That's how he is, that's the point of his character. He thanked her and apologized to her though.
Even Annie took swipes at Jean when he was swinging around her and stomped on the tunnel that Mikasa and Armin were hiding in with Eren. Any of them could have died, except maybe Eren if he's as resilient as Reiner. I think the time they have the biggest issues are when their former comrades are helpless and aren't physical threats to them, then it becomes more like a cold blooded execution
Well you know, if reiner regenates his head, he might be someone else since he will regenate an entirely new brain. He might be a real autist.
Means it won't be reiner anymore but an empty husk
>tfw your best friend develops feelings for the unloyal outsider that you hate
Hollywood SnK movie with Lady Gaga as Annie fucking when?
>Technological surpression within the walls
So outside the walls shifters possess advanced technologies? Then why didn't they conduct a full scale attack with titans armed with firearms, tanks, choppers, artillery of THEIR SIZE?
But if the world is still intact and technologically advanced, that means the titans are no big deal to them, they may even use them as tools, and the walls people basically have the whole world with technological level thousands of years ahead of them as their enemy, how could they have survived this long?
Sometime in 2016.
I worry about deadline problems already
We don't. I don't know why someone made a thread asking if people are hyped for something that doesn't even have an airdate.
>I doubt he even wants Bert to be happy, considering how he treats him.
Like a big brother would a little brother? Teaching him how to become a man, or the man he could become? You a retard, and probably a single child.
What the fuck is wrong with you? I have a bigger brother, 4 years older and he never treated me like that.
Not even the father does that. What's wrong with your families?
50/50 chance you either feel alone, or not. Like the same with brothers either hate each other's guts, or are total "bros" that have each other's backs. I'm the later with mine. We grew up with a lot of the same interest. Anime being one of them. Talking years ago, late 90s even. We always pooled together our lunch money to buy those VHS tapes at suncoast. Benefits of having a sibling outweigh the cons.
It's the parent's or Reiner's problem in this case if the child develops to be timid. They've been together since they were kids, did he wait until he became 16 to motivate him to be more assertive?
Not really, my father was a great man and that's why I got where I am now
I don't mean 4chan. Stop projecting
>did he wait until he became 16 to motivate him to be more assertive?
No, he probably figure he would come unto his own. Although I think seeing Reiner slowly breaking down like he is makes Bert want to cowboy up.
No I only implied that my father never called me unreliable or unworthy of the girl I like. He wasn't approving all of my actions but he wasn't a rude shit. Reiner doesn't treat Bert like neither a brother nor a child, he's simply rude and ungrateful.
That Reiner is an asshole.
Read the text.
Reiner had to do all the work fighting the titans while he fucks up and loses Eren. Even so after that all Bertolt can do is shout alpha male calls while Reiner is still fighting the titans, not even try to swing around and kill titans too. It's needed for Ymir to come help him. Not even Annie could rely on him to take off Marco's 3DMG, he's very unreliable.
>words to push Bert over the edge
It doesn't work.
Ymir is not prisoned are you fucking retarded? Can't you read the fucking page where Reiner said he would surely be killed if going back to their homeland. How much of a fucking Ymirfaggots can you guys get?
Oh for fucks sake Bertolt.
Thing about Ymir is everything does imply she died. Didn't wanted to run, said to be sure to die if remain. Also she doesn't have much things going for her to continue in the story beside that Ymir-same titan which is pressure was Isayama pointing out she is a titan.
They probably didn't have time to execute her yet, seeing how they immediately returned back to the walls after bringing her to their village and the coordinate being their main priority
Annie will join humanity and it's not like she had many choices in the first place. Seeing how Zeke threatned Reiner this chapter, Annie would probaby get eaten to pass her powers to someone else if she returned, considering how hard she failed.
There is why to much plot armor on Bert to die before anyone else in the manga. he is literally shown in the first chapter. He is Erin's nemesis. The cause of his mothers death. he will be the last of them to die.
No they didn't their clothes we're changed at some point. There is no proof to sustain she might be alive but there is enough to claim she died. Even the promise shit is pointing at it, and it's fucking Isayama, he doesn't add things just for the keks. And while Isayama claimed her role in the story was important, in the end it was, she contributed to Historia's development, contributed in the RB arc and was a titan to remain interesting. I feel the Ymir-sama thing was related to pointing out about her titan form.
>No they didn't their clothes we're changed at some point.
Of course, because mule titan brought them food and so on.
>and it's fucking Isayama
Yeah, which means she survived thanks to asspulls.
>Even the promise shit is pointing at it
Actually BR still using Christa makes it even more obvious they didn't talk afterwards and immediately returned back to the walls. Even their clothes makes it obvious, because they didn't have time to change.
She is a side character. I know Reiner survived a lot of asspulls but I know he will die at some point despite all this. I feel it's the same for her. To be honest dying off panel would be nice twist, showing at some point a flashback regarding it and shit.
Not when they fought MT.
>To be honest dying off panel would be nice twist, showing at some point a flashback regarding it and shit.
Well you clearly want her dead for some reason and hate the fact she might be important to the story.
No, she won't. She also wouldn't be eaten, if failure was all it took then Bert and Reiner would already be dead by now. They both want to rescue her and neither of them would be have sought MT's help if they thought that would be the result of it.
And something is being built up to happen with Bert and Annie with the amount of times that's been brought up, not to say that it means a romance but it's definitely heading somewhere.
Actually, you can't even blame Zeke since his cause is just and what he's doing is likely the only way to save humanity. Blame the first king and royal family for fucking up the world in the first place.
If not for Ymir, Historia was already a goner long ago, she's willing to sacrifice everything, including her life for her. You believe it could be anything other than genuine love?
