If you want a visual representation of 4D you can do on graph paper more easily.

You draw two separate XYZ graphs that are separated and at an angle from each other.
On the two graphs you have two exact copies of the XYZ cords.

Between the two graphs you connect each of the cloned XYZ cords (if the original graphs are correctly angled these new dotted lines should be at around 45 degrees)

You use those dotted lines as a starting point and add more dotted lines as needed, the space between the two copied XYZ graphs is the W axis. If need be they can be extended either direction past the two graphs, but you to make sure to put the new W cords on the old XYZ graphs, (0 for one and like 10 for the other works well)
