I'd probably do a 1:1 retelling on 4,5, and 6 with extended bits, like maybe an episode dedicated to Boba Fett going through an ordeal of some sort while transporting Han to Jabba. I don't feel anything too major needs to be changed, probably just jazz up the action scenes a bit.

My personal opinion is that the timeframe covered for Episodes 1-3 were not fit for just three movies. Some of the basic ideas George had were fine once you actually are able to make sense of them and would make for a good saga in the vein of stuff like Code Geass (if you like that).

Episodes 4-6 could all be handled in a single 2 cour series, maybe even less, because the time frame covered is only 3 years. The prequel covers a time span that is nearly 15 years within only 6-7 hours of movie when 6-7 hours is needed for each one to explain everything that's happening.

The thing is Traya was supposed to be like a reverse of Jolee Bindo from KOTOR 1, she was what happens when you take grey to the level of full blown nihilism. From the perspective of the mythos, including the grey perspective, she's fucking nuts. She wants to kill the Force, which would involve basically destroying all life. Heck, the entire plot of the Yuuzhan Vong was that they were a massive wound in the Force that needed to be healed, much like the Jedi Exile.

It is true that a theme in KOTOR 2 was how the abuse of the Force by both Jedi and Sith and their religious wars have ruined ordinary people's lives, but only edgelords think that the game's story wasn't one which portrayed the Jedi as the greater good, even if not perfect. Hence, why Meetra choosing the lightside is canon, as is Atton and the others becoming the restorers of the Jedi Order.

Meetra was never actually totally outside the Force though. Not only that, but to reject the Force means to basically live a life that is lonely and just devoid of very much meaning. Which is why when you convert Mira, you are helping her to learn she doesn't have to feel alone anymore. Kreia's vision was essentially a universe without meaning, where people basically live aimlessly at best and at worst, a universe where nothing exists at all.

Well, the obvious answer is to make each movie it's own cour, but fuck that. It can it fit in a nice, compact 50 episodes series. And like any good adaption, I'd make some changes for both the medium, and some restructuring of the PT. All PT lightsaber scenes will choreography similar to Episode I. No more party raves.

Rewrite Jar Jar. His role is the same. Saved by Qui-Gonn, and take the Jedi to his city. Still comic relief character, but cut down, and a seiyuu that isn't awful. Darth Maul lives to take on a recurring villain role. Podracing gets its own episode. The race begins and ends in a single episode. Other than that, mostly the same, tightening up the dialogue and removing unnecessary scenes, and re-working political scenes to be interesting.

7 episodes

Oh, god. Count Dooku is no longer a Sith, but merely a political figure with the goal of restructuring the government. His fight scenes replace him with Maul. Dooku is still the man who ordered the clones, still under an alias. Amidala is no longer targeted by the Neimoidians for petty revenge. Instead, it'll just be a more vague political enemy, and she'll be more aggressive in the Senate. The car chase scene can remain, but shortened. More moments with Anakin and Obi-Wan actually being brotherly. Over the course of the Episode, Obi-Wan will begin hammering on Anakin for his flaws, and we'll have scenes of Obi-Wan blaming himself for being too lax with Anakin. During this part, Anakin never claims to hate Obi-Wan, but it should be apparent that it's starting to happen. Anakin still kills the Tusken Raiders, but when he shows up his mother is already dead. The droid factory scene is cut altogether, and C-3PO is only a cameo on the farm, he and R2 are not in the coliseum fight.

Anakin and Obi-Wan argue over Anakin's methods, and the first spoken line to suggest that Anakin is tired of Obi-Wan's bullshit. Palpatine offers Anakin a way to save Padme's life, and initially refuses. Padme begins having pregnancy related problems, and as the Jedi Council and Republic begin falling apart, Anakin turns to the Dark Side under stress (it should be clear that he isn't thinking clearly and is running purely on emotions). Throughout the rest of Episode III, Anakin should not once be shown to be calm or have anything suggest he is in a proper frame of mind. Obi-Wan and Anakin duel's outcome is the same. Padme survives giving birth to a single son, Luke. Yoda's fight with Palpatine is cut, and Palpatine kills Mace Windu without having lightning redirected to him. Only the Dark Side will corrupt his appearance. Palpatine tells Anakin that his wife no longer loves him and left him. The dramatic "NOOOO" is cut.

9 Episodes.

One episode to bridge III and IV. Yoda and Obi-Wan talk about what to do, and reflect on the events and their own actions. Obi-Wan brings Luke to Tatooine, in case Darth Vader hunts down Padme. Include scenes to show Vader's extreme regret over his actions, and his conviction that he is unforgivable, bitterly embracing the Dark Side. He also expresses hatred towards Palpatine in a thought monologue. Episode ends with Padme dying to a vague disease, and Vader senses it.

As stated in Episode III, Luke was the only child born to Padme, the sub-plot of them as siblings is dropped, but Leia is still Force-senstive. Ewoks are not fully cut, but they won't be present in the battle. It will be Rebels vs. Empire. The Throne Room scene goes unchanged.

The biggest change to everything would be the timeline. Should have put it earlier but this post was an afterthought. There should be at least 30 years between III and IV. This gives enough time for anyone in their late 20's (such as Han) to not believe in the Force. To make Luke's age work, I'm going to change my Episode III despite just writing it, mostly because I'm dumb.

Anakin and Obi-wan don't fight quite yet. Anakin and Padme remain together sometime after the Jedi Council, and she's unhappy but trying to do what she can. She gets pregnant about 10 years into this, and during this time Anakin runs into Obi-Wan, they fight, Obi-Wan kicks his ass, and then goes to get Padme from the Empire. At this point, Anakin needs the suit, Padme gives birth, and Luke is hidden on Tatooine.
