>How did her hair suddenly turn blonde?
She dyed it.

>Why would a cute normie be attracted to a weeb?
Opposites attract. One thing is being a weeb and another is being an autist incapable of intimate relationships.

Diametrically opposed. One is a fantasy that never happened nor can happen unless in near-divinely-mandated circumstances. The other is cruel reality illustrated in an extreme logical conclusion.

>>135919242
The mass population decline isn't necessarily a bad thing. It is a bad thing for the old people who didn't save enough money for their retirement, their won't be enough taxes coming in to give them their benefits.
As technology gets better and automation improves, there are going to be less and less jobs available, on top of that, due to improvements in medicine, average age of death is going to rise. Apparently in 2012 I think, the first 1000 year old person was born according to some scientists.
It is a pretty shitty and immoral thing to have a kid nowadays, if anything just adopt a loli and raise her to not be a slut.

after my 11th birthday I did everything I could to prevent more birthdays from happening because that birthday was the one that couldn't be topped. Here in 13 days my birthdays going to happen again, and I can only hope everyone forgets, I've even gone as far as changing my birthdays everywhere that family and friends could find my birth date just to avoid it.

Last year I kept quiet about it being my birthday, I ended up quitting that day though, because all my coworkers, bosses included, decided to throw me a birthday party since they said "you always seem so depressed, we wanted to cheer you up!". They weren't that happy about it, and neither was I, was a great place to work, but i'm not a drinker, I dont smoke, I dont do drugs, the party would've been boring for everyone there, and even if i stayed, I would've just slinked out before any singing or cake happened since no one at work ever noticed me unless I was talking or in front of them.

I'm guessing it's based on how the average lifespan has increased exponentially so far, how it's projected to continue increasing. Based on that, and knowing the relationship over the past few centuries between the average human lifespan in a generation and the lifespans of the most long-lived humans in that generation, you could probably work out something like that.

That said, 1000 seems to be a bit of a stretch.

Has it though? I thought it hasn't increased all that dramatically since antibiotics gave it a big bump a while back. We seem to find ways to kill ourselves faster about as fast as science finds ways to keep us alive longer, not to mention usually they prevent one cause of death only for something else to kill us a year later.

Why would he still hold hope at that age. By the time my 21st birthday rolled around I was getting called downstairs to blow out the candles in front of my grandma/mom/siblings and taking a slice before going back up.

I for one actually like my family-only birthdays, even though it is a hassle to get out of my confort for the celebration.
I see people that, no matter how much of a loser I am, will always remember my birthday and come with a cake ready for me.

And instead of seeing it as a year wasted, I think of it as a year spent watching animu, playing games etc etc.
By a normalfag's definition, this may be a year wasted, but for me that sounds pretty good.

I'm pretty sure the only reason the average age of death has gone up to sharply was because we figured out how to keep our kids alive long enough to reach adulthood. If i remember right if you don't count people younger than 10 in teh average age of death isn't much higher now then it was hundreds of years ago because back then if you made it to puberty you were old enough to not get killed by simple illnesses that are easily cured nowadays. Of course we are living a good chunk longer now then abck then, just not to teh extent people think.

I think it strengthens the bond. If you're just living together, you could stop living together with little to no consequence over any little thing. But marriage is like an oath, something you're expected to take seriously. Theoretically it makes the couple tighter ("one"), more tolerant and forgiving and there's a heavy cost for breaking this bond.

But that's all theory, the reality of things is not so sweet.

The real question is how to find a cute hunsband like Hajime. Men are all loud and lazy, and will cheat at every occasion they can.
>>

Because you were teenager. Now in our age would say no to reliable wife and little cute children?

Only an idiot would put the relationship at stake with more pressure. People don't like when they feel obliged to do things.

Only inexperienced people or people with nothing to lose like old people or poor people marry.

You find a chubby loser to be completely dependent on you and he'll do anything for you. What do you want in a husband? Someone faithful, reliable, and will flick your bean or toss your salad when you want him to.
>>
>>135933435
Who would take care of you when you will be ill? Who will help you with house routine? Two can do more than one and sharing the food tastes twice as many. Your parents there will be not forever.

>>
>>135933674

Myself. What would someone else do? Bring me water? I can do that myself. I'm not catching the plague in Commiefornia. I'm not getting some Japanese cold or anime aids.
Help me with what? Cleaning? Cleaning isn't hard, I can do it myself. I bring in enough money to support my hobbies, bills, savings, and I.

The only thing having a significant other is for is for love. There is no other reason.

Yes. Having a wife and kids is whats considered the norm to everyone. People think you're weird if you don't want a wife or kids.

The point is that you're incredibly stupid if you think there are /literally/ no other reasons to have kids other than "being see as a productive member of society".

If you meant that there aren't any reasons for YOU to have kids, it's understandable, but thinking everyone who wants kids does so just to fit in is retarded.

Because I'm single and have no kids I have an abundance of money and actively save for my retirement, taking in to account I'll be frail and old. In case I do break a bone or get some super disease, I'll be able to pay for it and have a caretaker support me when I need it. Which will be there for me 100x more than a family member or friend would, and I wouldn't be a burden.

There is this again. People like when they can help occasionaly. Being (occasionaly) burden is kind of way of being nice to others.

If they were alone because they want to be, they wouldn't be complaining about it or trying to create excuses for why they're alone.

In the same way, they wouldn't be boasting about it on an anonymous imageboard, as if they were trying to prove something.
>>
>>135935275
Sure they would. Just like someone who is in a relationship can try justifying being in one.

Wanting to be alone doesn't mean you can't argue for your position of being alone.
>>
>>135935315
I'm not sure what's your point here. If someone were trying to justify being in a relationship while talking to strangers on the internet, they would seem as dishonest with themselves as people in this thread.

The point is that everyone and anyone will try to justify something if it pertains to themselves. We're defensive creatures by nature.

This. When you're dead, you're dead. It isn't like you remember how much of a loser NEET/normie family man you were in life.

If you're looking for objective "meaning" in life, prepare to be disappointed if you aren't willing to delude yourself.
>>
>>135936878

>Everything you do on this earth is wasted unless you find the secret to iimmortality.
If you live just for yourself, you are truly mortal. However if you live for someone else, part of you will live in them. Maybe you will be not the most important person in the universe, but also your life will be not wasted.
>>
>>135937541
Don't get me wrong, if you're fulfilled by whatever it is you do, then congratulations. Just don't pretend it's because whatever thing you're doing has more purpose or meaning than anything else, because it objectively, demonstrably doesn't.
>>
>>135937643
Dude, the only thing that lives on in your family is your genes. If having your genes live on is what counts as "meaningful" to you, go rape some people. You'll get better results.

Everything else will be dead and gone in a hundred years max.

And I live for the same reason you live, cause I feel like doing it. Why not?

So if I love by myself, I'm truly alive? The idea that you need to have kids to lead a fulfilling life is a joke.

Because I fear death mostly, also existing is enjoyable even when I'm in despair I get a form of pleasure from it it's how we are "programmed" to try and survive.

"Living" in someone else will not make you any less mortal by they way all they will die, everyone will doe eventually probably sooner rather than later but even in the best case scenario the eventual heat death of the universe will end it all. Actually it's funny because this was one of the things Evangelion gets at, seeking comfort from the inevitably of nonexistence in connections with others. Deluding yourself into thinking it will somehow prevent you from disappearing

>>135937926
Look at you. Once you are down to earth with "After all I'm only a human" and then you are acting like you can comprehend the length of universe's life. That's some mental gymnastics right there not honesty.

Problem of today's society is that people don't know how to be humble. They don't know how to stop living for themselves and live for something/someone else. No wonder, that's what tv teaches us "You are the most important so buy things for yourself.".
Also being humble doesn't mean saying "I'm not important at all". You have your part and you want to have a part. If you didn't want to you would just kill yourself.
>>
>>135935123
So nothing good can come without suffering? That's kinda depressing.
>>
>>135939146
I don't really understand you're right but I am certainly more grounded in reality than you. We can only work with what we're given thaI simply give my interpretation based on what information I have, if you want to delude yourself by believing in farfetched things that's fine. Maybe you're right even but don't try and push your faith on others and call them wrong for not conforming to your ideal of what is correct that is the only reason I started an argument with you in the first place. Because your insecurity and fear causes you to push your lifestyle on to others in an attempt to validfy your own beliefs

The reason no one is humble is because there is no reason to be humble. In the past people were humble simply because it was rewarded, ypu could easily make a life for yourself that way but it's just not the case anymore. By the way doing things for others is not inherently better than doing things for yourself. That is another of your personal subjectve beliefs

It is must be warmer because they love each other so much so you don't need heater when you go sleep. But you don't have to go sleep because you finally have someone to talk with overnight. And when you are tired you can go sleep together while holding hands

MODS

>>135934077
It's kinda of fucked up thing. Sure, it's the one who cheats who is generally to blame, but if you haven't done anything to properly maintain the relationship and make the other person to be loyal, you can't really complain because you know you could've prevented it if you tried to.
>>
>>135941671
And get naked!
>>
>>135941863
I think that's pretty subjective and more often than not just a convenient excuse the cheater uses
>>
>>135940708
/a/ has been full of robots before /r9k/ even existed

Just kidding, I wish I could sleep next to someone tonight.
I also wish ronery threads were still a thing.

It was their choice so they don't mind. That's why /a/ is wonderful place unlike other boards. We either have someone or prefer loneliness. /a/ is the most happy board.

Do you really believe in what you wrote?
I only browse /a/ but a waifu wouldn't be enough for me, I need human contact even though I hate it.

I remember some spazzy autist in middle school invited like half the school to his birthday party one year and no one came. To be fair, he was pretty obnoxious, but eventually I think some of the nice girls came to consider him one of the retarded kids they had to be nice to, so at least they would come to his birthdays from then on. The whole thing wasn't helped by the fact his family was weird and creepy as fuck, though (his dad was a furry who would sometimes wear his fursuit in public).

This is why I married a blind girl.

Okay, I actually married her because our parents arranged it, but still worked out really good.
>>
>>135945551
Yup. You would have to add another variable for "percentage of civilizations that are somehow incapable of reaching VR technology but are still capable of going to space"
>>
>>135945551
why cant you explore the cosmos with a waifu?
thats what id do
>>
>>135945781
Because you can explore the cosmos with a waifu in VR. It's cheaper, more resource efficient, safer, and you'll still have a better experience.
>>
>>135945781
I'd explore her cosmos if you know what I mean.
>>
>>135945781
You can explore cosmos with your waifu in VR designed to not being boring and with aviable FTL.

I bet that's why there are no aliens around nor galactic empires. They all stay at home in their VR.

>>
>>135944946
A similar thing happened to me, too. I went because I figured if I did the same thing I would want kids to show up, and besides, everybody else in the class would probably think the same thing. I could hang out with them, right?

Nobody else came except for one other girl, who left early. It was a sleepover party. We watched a few episodes of Naruto from the middle of the series (they were all filler episodes, literally nothing happened) and he tried to explain the context to me himself while I pretended to listen. In the morning, I had breakfast with his whole family, and also the parish priest who was visiting for some reason. Shit was weird.
