The animation would have to be very basic if they want to aim fur such details in the clothes and patterns. But I still rather have KyoAni do it than SHAFT.

SHAFT would just butcher the visual style completely and make their own using the Bake template.

Has Kyoani ever done anything serious? Their shows always feel too fluffy and fun even with melodrama. Otoyomegatari is all about love and serious romantic feelings.

I've seen some of the trailers for Kizu and the quality leaves to be desired. They do the same trick as >>135852894 says. Everything looks so CGI and simplistic it hurts, I know that's Bake style but they usually do the same with other shows and I don't trust them in getting it right with this manga at all.

They're supposed to be doing 3 gatsu no lion soon. Let's see how that looks and hopefully it won't look like pic related.
