This is actually how I feel in a very literal sense. With her being /r9k/, every time I draw her she looks better than the last and I love it. I've been doing it for 12 years, and every time I get a little better at drawing in general and get to draw her, it makes all of the struggle to improve worth it. She's the reason I keep doing it even if sometimes I don't feel like I'm going anywhere.
